i dont know if it is considered a launcher problem but the server regions ms issue is still kinda buggy i get 175 on asia and 125 on eu even though im living in the middle east it was perfectly fine a few days back where i got 80 ms in asia and 125 on eu . I even get a certain type of lobby glitch where even after cd goes im not in the plane but am zoomed out. (Happens in use the lobby glitch now before it was asia)

Just close out of the whole thing. Copy the file location where you downloaded the zip file. Go to 7zip and on the top, there is a white bar, similar to the one on your laptop which shows the file location. Copy the file location to 7zip and extract it.

It takes a lot of time to support and maintain another platform, and only a small percentage of ZR players use Linux, so it's not really worth the time to support it. You can try to use Wine or Proton to get the client working on Linux, though.

In Steam, you can do Games -> Add a non-Steam game to my library. After you add the file, you can "Force the use of a specific compatibility tool" and choose a version of Proton in the Compatibility section of that game's settings.

There are other methods to get Windows programs running on Linux, like the interfaces Lutris and Bottles. I think you can even try using Wine straight (which is what those GUI programs do in the background anyway).

Remember that Linux isn't officially supported, though, so none of these methods you can try are guaranteed to work.

fps is being capped to 60 on the new client. no matter what cap i change it do, be it 144 or 300, or unlimited it stays at 60. the only cap that does work is 30fps. when I change the cap to 30 it does in fact cap it at 30 but anything higher than 60 it just stays capped at 60. I have a very capable machine that's ran the old client at very high fps's in the past so my machine is not the issue

if you're talking about SmartScreen, it can be ignored by pressing "show more" and just "execute anyways" if that's your case

If it's Windows smart screen, you need to press "More info" before the "Run Anyway" button appears. You can also right click the executable -> Properties and check the "Unblock" button, then hit apply. If your pc has stricter, non default settings, then I'm not sure. One of the reasons why I distribute it as a 7z file instead of the exe directly is because it bypasses that screen for the most part.

right, ive fixed the issue. the issue was v-sync. with it on it would limit me to 60fps. turning it off instantly uncapped everything. so if anyone else if having a 60fps cap rn for no reason then turn off v-sync and it should fix it

It won’t respond because of the loadout bug. To fix it you just have to refresh the game, and to avoid it mostly, use left mouse to drag weapons around if you want to sort out your loadout. If it still happens, try dragging slower.
