We've extended 50vs50 for another 6 hours, this is the final extension so don't miss out. After this limited mode ends we will deploy today's update. Some things in this update may already be live. - Press Q to go into building mode, click or hold the mouse down to start placing building blocks on the ground
- Loot and ammo are significantly increased
- Gather wood from damaging & destroying trees or destroying & opening wooden crates

Ever wondered what it would be like to have super powers? Introducing the new limited game mode: Superpower Mode!!!(Solo Mode) Collect Energy Gems by eliminating other players and picking them up to gain their powers. The powers of gems has caused everyone to gain the ability to regnerate health and shield. Gems will make you move faster, gain more hp & shield, deal more damage, and have your bullets travel faster! As you collect more gems new and exciting effects will begin to grow. Do you have what it takes to power up and defeat other powerful players?
Superpower Mode Features:
- 4 Energy Gems to collect: Power, Defense, Move Speed and Bullet Speed.
- Defeated players will drop Energy Gems.
- Gems are collected automatically by going over them.
- New and special effects will appear and grow as you collect gems.
- There is a cap of 10 per gem, picking up more will eliminate the additional picked up gem(s).
- All players slowly regenerate health & later shield.
- The amount of ammo is significantly increased.
- Gas now deals double its regular damage at every phase.
There are more changes in this update in addition to the new limited mode. The Deagle's damage has been increased, it now spawns only as Epic or Legendary. We will be introducing Season Rewards Beta later in Update #2.
Superpower Mode is now duos mode, in addition you also now have a random power at the beginning of a game. Invite a friend and compete against other pairs to see who can obtain the most power and achieve victory!
The following bugs have been fixed:
- energy gems dropping in lobby when someone exits the game.
- energy gems sometimes dropping the incorrect amount.
- leaderboard sorting incorrectly for kills per round.
- deagle world spawning incorrect rarities.
- "out-of-ammo" message won't go away after a game. (fixed for real this time?)

The RPG now has various projectile speeds based on its rarity. Mythic RPG rockets travel significantly faster than uncommon RPG rockets. Increased the initial amount of ammo given when picking up weapons.

We have been hard at work to create this mobile app for you (android users, read below). There are over 1,000+ new cosmetics - hats, skins, sprays, emotes, and weapons for you to earn - ranging from uncommon to Mythic rarity.
For Android/PC users - don't worry, we will release an Android version this weekend, everything you have on PC/iOS/Android will be cross platform. Hey everyone, we ran into some last minute issues with season rewards that's preventing us from releasing Android support as well as 50v50 for mobile. We are working as fast as we can to fix these issues and get season rewards out for all platforms, as for 50v50 mobile the big button is not working under 'Battle', but if you tap duos or squads you can tap 50v50.
It's been a couple of months now since we first launched on web. We have been very surprised at how fast we grew on iOS (we are currently the #2 strategy game on iPhones) and we know how excited you all are for Android support, we feel the same way and are working as fast as we can to release it. We are a very small team working on a game that's become so large so fast. Thank you all for not being toxic and being one of the best communities we've seen.

Season Rewards! Welcome to our beta season! Simply play the game to earn season experience and levels to unlock exciting new rewards only available during this time! Because this is our first season testing we will not reset or have a new leaderboard. Experience gained from Daily Challenges will not effect season experience, we will update these rewards later.
- The original 50v50 mode is back! (Small UI bug on mobile. To play, select "Duo" or "Squad" mode first and then you should be able to select "50v50" from there.)
- Facebook login should now work on mobile.
- Game orientation should now be flippable.
- 3-hour reward now gives a Basic Chest instead of 100 Z-coins.
- Added a link to our official Discord server. If you need help with any issues or want to find other Zombs Royalers please visit us there.
- Added a high ping alert. You will be alerted if there's an unstable connection.
- Optimized memory and disk usage, we will continue to reduce the overall app size and improve overall game performance.
- Connecting into new rounds no longer have a delay. Searching for games should also be faster now.

- Fixed autofill button, unchecking this will function properly now.
- Fixed an issue with 4th spray slot not being usable.
- Fixed some emotes and sprays having extremely large sizes in game.
- Fixed an issue that was causing too many players to join a server.
- Added more metric tracking to help diagnose connection issues.

We are introducing a brand new limited game mode, Weapons Race. The rules are simple: getting 2 kills upgrades your current weapon to the next weapon. The first person to get 2 kills with the last weapon wins the game. This mode is played on a new island map that's designed for more action. The last weapon is a brand new weapon!

New Limited Mode Update
Our new limited game mode, Weapons Race is now available on all platforms! This mode uses a brand new intense island map. A new weapon is available as the last weapon, can you make it to the end and use the new weapon?
Weapons Race breakdown:
- New island map for more action
- Total of 20 weapons to climb through!
- Get 2 kills to move to the next weapon
- No items spawn on the map
- No dropping weapons
- No healing
- Infinite max ammo, you still have to reload

6.20.2018 Update
The original Superpower mode is back! Collect Energy Gems by eliminating other players and picking them up to gain powers. The powers of gems has caused everyone to gain the ability to regenerate health and shield. Gems can make you move faster, gain more hp & shield, deal more damage, or have your bullets travel faster! Do you have what it takes to power up and defeat other powerful players?
Superpower Mode Features:
- 4 Energy Gems to collect: Power, Defense, Move Speed and Bullet Speed.
- Defeated players will drop Energy Gems.
- Gems are collected automatically by going over them.
- New and special effects will appear and grow as you collect gems.
- There is a cap of 10 per gem, picking up more will eliminate the additional picked up gem(s).
- All players slowly regenerate health & later shield.
- The amount of ammo is significantly increased.
- Gas now deals double its regular damage at every phase.

6.27.18 Update
We are introducing another new limited game mode, Crystal Clash. Play with 3 other players as you compete against another team of 4 on a brand new arena map. The first team to destroy the opposing team's crystal will win the game, if time runs out the team who's done more damage will win. In addition to a new arena map we are also introducing a new Loadouts mechanic! Loadouts are a set of weapons, play the new mode to find out what's available! :]
Crystal Clash breakdown:
- 4v4!
- New arena map fitted for 8 players
- Respawning enabled, spawn protection is added (invincible for a short period of time or when you shoot)
- Infinite ammo, but still need to reload
- Infinite grenades, but they now have cooldown times (can't spam them)
- Weapons revamped, fights last longer
- Snipers deal more damage to targets farther away
- Regenerate health when out of combat
Available Loadouts:
Scout: Good at close range combat and excels at smaller skirmishes.
Rocketeer: Great at long range and is terrific in group fights.
Assault: Good from all distances and fights
Shotgunner: Great at short range fights with groups.
Marksman: Great at long range and amazing if accurate.

New weapon released: Tommy Gun! This weapon is a unique SMG that uses medium ammo (same as AR) which makes it very powerful and can pin down your opponents for quite a bit of time with its ammo capacity. The Tommy Gun can be obtained from crates or chests as a Rare or Epic Unique SMG.

Hey everyone, quick update for those of you who are having issues with Challenges, New Shotgun not showing up, and new sprays/emotes not working; we pushed a fix for them awhile ago, but it may take up to 2 hours from now for all the servers to catch up.
To find out if the broken Challenges will work for you right now try using a new emote or spray, if you see it then the Challenges will work.

Superpower mode is back! Try out the newly released Assault Shotgun and Tommy Gun with your super powers! In addition we've also made many updates since the launch of Season 1:
- Freezing on web has been significantly reduced
- Chat bubble added to mobile, the icon is located left of sprays & emotes icon

NEW AIRDROP have arrived to ZombsRoyale! Airdrops contain 4 items, one of which will be a new airdrop-only weapon! There are three airdrop exclusive weapons: Vector, MG36, and AWP.
- There will be an announcement in-game when an airdrop begins its descent
- If you're not close enough to see the airdrop there will be a indicator on the edge of your screen pointing to it
- Airdrops will begin dropping during the first gas wave
- Airdrops will not drop once the area of play becomes small
VectorFastest weapon to date! A very powerful all around SMG that fires extremely fast. Just like the P90 this weapon does less damage the further its bullets travel.
MG36Fire a barrage of bullets! A strong LMG that has an ammo capacity of 90! It's well rounded enough to pin down your opponents for a long time.
AWPSharpshooter zoom enabled! The AWP scopes out even further than all current weapons.
In addition to airdrop and new weapons there were other changes made:
- Your profile should update after each game automatically
- Updated profanity filter to cover a larger variety of words
- When winning a game, the end-of-game screen should remain longer so you can screenshot your victory
- Made the end-of-game screen smoother and faster

PORTALS HAVE WARPED IN!!!
Portals are scattered all around the map, they spawn randomly from set locations. A portal is guaranteed to spawn in each named location and one near the middle yellow building.
- Portals teleport your character to a different portal
- You will not teleport to a portal that is in gas
- You can however use a portal that is in gas to teleport elsewhere
- After using a portal there is a brief cooldown before you can use it again
- Portals randomly change their destination after a period of time

Space Battle Update
With Season 2's Space theme comes a brand new limited game mode: Space Battle. Compete on a new map that has space asteroids scattered all around. Destroying these asteroids will cause them to explode into collectible gems that give experience. Leveling up grants you a stat point that is used to power you up in various ways. At certain levels you will receive upgrade points to use on your weapon, upgrading it to a different and powerful weapon! There are over 25 new and unique space weapons, can you maintain #1 on the leaderboard?

Space Battle Hotfix Update
Hey everyone, we pushed out some fixes earlier for Space Battle and here's a breakdown of some of the changes and fixes. As always if you find any bugs or issues with the mode please use #report-a-problem or #report-a-mobile-problem and any suggestion or balance discussions in #suggestions and #game-balance, thanks.
- Fixed respawning so they now properly give stats and upgrades
- Fixed game servers stability for Space Battle
- All Space Battle Snipers have had their damages reduced as well as hitboxes
- All space gems give more experience
- Adjust experience towards Season Level to match other deathmatch modes
- Game timers are much longer
- Fixed a visual bug where winning would show a different rank at the end of the game
- Space Battle Flamethrowers spew out flames much faster
- Players now gain hp/level
- Increased base projectile speeds of all weapons
- Increased base movement speed
- Bullet penetration reduced for Split Rifles and Shotguns
- RPGs no longer deal damage to self

SEASON THREE: SECOND UPDATE
In addition to the new season, a new area arrives: Haunted Hollow! Fortune Forest has been haunted and is now very spooky with new buildings and features. Visit the new and unique Haunted Mansion to discover the area's fortunes... or misfortunes.
Highlighted changes & fixes:
- New doors & windows fixed, these are new doors are much larger and allow moving through door ways a lot easier
- Hidden bushes now rustle, but are larger. Counter playing people who camp in these without blindly guessing was an issue
- Cactus Bomb bouncing fixed, Goo Gun range increased, & P90 spawn rate decreased
- After reaching tier 100, daily challenges give coins
- Small huts in every area are now destructible (like the old brown huts)
- Lobbies are more interesting

Weapons update:
Autosniper - the auto sniper underwent a complete rework. it now shoots velocity bullets that grow in damage the farther it travels. The damage is devastating when you hit an enemy off screen. Don’t take our word for it, try it yourself.
Minigun - the minigun was often overlooked by players, so we decided to make it more effective. It now functions the way it is supposed to be, a scary, bullet hell gun that mows down its opponents. We’ve increased the speed it fires and the cone of fire. It makes up for its damage through its coverage of the field.
Flamethrower - Like the minigun, the flamethrower was ineffective in combat. We’ve increased the range and it’s rate of fire to allow it to be more effective in close and medium situations. It is especially good when fighting around/in houses.
Crossbow - The crossbow from the Weapons Race game mode is now in the main game! Instead of being a 100hp bullet, it now deals less damage up close, but massive damage from far away. It is able to cut through full HP and a big amount of shield if it hits an opponent far enough.
Other updates:
-Pump/Tactical/Assault shotguns were modified
-Tactical shotgun “buffed.”
-AK was tweaked slightly since it was underperforming
-Tommy Gun damage adjusted
-Hunting rifle damaged adjusted
-SCAR was adjusted
-Spectate now shows current game info (players remaining) and spectated player’s HP
-Graphics updated for SMG, Burst SMG, Autosniper. More coming.

Mystery Mode Mega Update
Games are mysterious and filled with only different themed weapons, heals, and Impulses. For example, you may be put into a Mystery Mode where there are only a preset of snipers that spawn or you could be put into a Mystery Mode where there are only RPGs that spawn.
Mystery Mode breakdown:
- Mystery Modes: Snipers or RPGs
- Heals and shields spawn as normal
- Both the Impulse and Reverse Impulse grenades spawn, there are no other grenades that spawn
- Airdrops are disabled, but airdrop weapons can be found in chests relative to the Mystery Mode selected
- Weapons can spawn different tiers from the core modes (Solo, Duo, Squad)
In addition to a new mode there are major changes to the game:
- Weapon tiers have been reworked
- Environment has been adjusted for better balance
- Objects that may contain gas now explode when destroyed
- Melee attacks no longer go through walls

Keybinds are here!
You can now change your keybinds on PC. Just navigate to the settings menu in the main menu!
Random Cosmetics Option
You may now choose the "random" option and have a new random skin chosen for you when you enter the game everytime.
Offline Friend Requests
You can now leave a friend request for someone and they'll see it the next time they're online instead of needing both players to be online to accept friend requests.

Rubber Gun Update
The Rubber Gun deals an increased amount of damage the more its squishy projectiles bounce around! This weapon is very powerful in a closed area, ideal for displacing opponents who are caught inside buildings.
Keybinds Update:
- Added more keys: Sprays, Emotes, Hold Map
- Interact key will now Parachute/Dive correctly
- Tab is no longer locked to Hold Map
- Right click no longer locked to Emotes

**Other Changes:**
- Fixed a bug on mobile where receiving a reward would freeze the app
- Dual Berettas & Minigun have been significantly buffed

VIP Mode Big Update
In this brand new game mode you can squad up through friends or auto fill and one member is randomly selected to be the VIP of your squad upon the game's start. VIPs have more health, but cannot use healing items! Lookout, if your squad's VIP is eliminated your whole squad goes down with them. Exclusively available in this mode for right now is the new Grappling Hook! This utility weapon allows for more mobility and clever maneuvering for those sweet trick shots.
VIP Mode breakdown:
- Introduction of Grappling Hook
- A Squads mode, one member of each squad selected randomly as a VIP
- VIPs have more health & shield
- VIPs cannot see or use healing items
- VIPs have a crown over their character and a character effect
- VIPs are eliminated right away, no knockdowns
- Squad members can still be knocked down
- Squad members are forced out of the plane when their VIP jumps
- If a VIP is eliminated, their entire squad is also eliminated
- If a VIP leaves the game without dying, their stats & VIP status will be transferred to another member of their squad

- Shoots special grenades quickly

Grappling Hook (available in VIP mode):
- Spawns as Legendary only
- Shooting an object and moving in different directions will swing you in that direction, but still towards the point of contact
- Limited magazine size, cannot be refilled
- Missing a shot uses up a shot in the magazine
- Hitting a moving object may be dangerous or fun
In addition to a new mode there are major changes to the game:
- More objects now explode
- Most objects now block aoe penetration damage
- Large objects like the helipad are now destructible
- Fixed some object overlapping issues
- All modes now have banners to match
- Added a few more portal spawn locations

Zombie Mode Revamp Update
Zombies have evolved and there are now 3 zombie types:
Norms, normal zombies that have been plaguing ZombsRoyale.
Runners, new speedy little zombies that are very aggressive.
Zodors, new slow and large zombies that will open doors, they also keep doors opened!
• Zombies now have a chance to drop ammo or healing items to help you replenish your inventory and restock your arsenal.
• Zombies will no longer be aggressive towards you if you're knocked, but if you're in the way they make sure that you won't be for long!
• Zombies are now slowed when on water or ice.
• Zombies now get knocked back a bit as well as slowed when hit.
• Zombies are weakened during daytime and even more dangerous at night.
New UNIQUE weapon, Silenced AR-15!
This weapon is very powerful, but very rare. This suppressed weapon is faster, stronger, and better than the regular AR-15 in almost every way. • Spawns as Mythic Unique only • Can only be found in gold chests • Shoots suppressed shots • Replaces Mythic AR-15

As many of you guys know, we've been working on creating custom lobbies for our community leaders to run more organized tournaments for the community. You may have seen @novel hound organize these daily to test out the functionality.
Unfortunately, as we create these, we've had certain bad actors in the community abuse the new features that have not been fully finalized yet (such as creating their own 'hacked clients'). These are not supported by the game and cause strains on the server and us needing to combat these further delay the release of new features.
Please play ZombsRoyale on the official clients - as using anything 3rd party may result in your account being stolen/jeopardized.
We are also working directly with Discord to actively discover and disable malicious people looking to steal accounts by getting people to install unofficial software. Don't download anything not official guys!
The current only way to enter secure CUSTOM LOBBIES is via the "tournament" code which anyone can access by pressing settings in the menu, and for now the code is "HANGOUT." Occassionally, we may change this, to for example "Boxy" when community leaders host special events.

Regarding the Chrome Lag:
The chrome mouse bug fix is now available in the BETA channels of chrome. The versions are 85.0.4183.59 for desktop or 85.0.4183.57 for chromebooks. Note that if you switch to the beta channel on chromebooks, switching back to the stable channel will require a "powerwash" (deletes all local users, files, data, and other settings.) We are not responsible for any data loss or other issues that may occur as a result of using beta software. Make sure have everything saved before trying this method.

Additional notes:
-Frag grenades "draw speed" is now increased. Draw speed is how fast you swap to that particular item and is able to use it. You may now swap to Frags faster and use them quicker than before. We want to reward those that practice using frag combos and thus we lowered the delay to make it more skillful to pull a good move off.
-Minigun - We forgot to add the damage dropoff at range. It now does less damage at max range
-Scar - Scar now has 28 mag size to match that of a "heavy assault rifle." Additionally, the lower rarities of the weapon now have decreased damage. You may also notice the movement speed reduction when using the weapon is also due to its "heavy" classification. Legendary Scar still hits like a truck though but will require good positioning and aim.
All changes are subject to further balance changes after testing.

Some of you may have noticed that the download button has disappeared for ZR. This is due to Discord sunsetting store channel functionality (See https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/4414590563479 ). We understand that many of you play exclusively on the Discord client. So we have begun the process of launching the game on Steam. Players that currently login to the Discord client using a Discord account will still be able to login to the Steam client with their Discord accounts. Your items remain secure and safe. The current ETA on when the Steam client will launch is Q2 2022. We will make another announcement when the store page is publicly available. On a side note - the new zone will 100% be arriving this season.

I have a status update on the new version of the client. We have decided that we will launch the ZR client using our own launcher instead of Steam at this time. It's possible that we may still launch it on Steam in the future, but for now, we will be using our own launcher. This was a last minute business decision that we believe will improve the longevity of the game. The new launcher will launch in ALPHA before the middle of July (hopefully sooner). I encourage everyone to give the new launcher a try once it is released. Once I am confident that the launcher is fully stable, the Discord version of zr will download the new launcher, and all clients will use the new launcher.
