HoO and her gear are both in Reserve but what I said about dkey's is still the priority plus Valks from reserve are quite a bit of crystallum

Playing Honkai Impact 3rd on Steam has both benefits and drawbacks! No matter what other captains say, please decide if it's for you or not!

** DRAWBACKS **

• Cannot link a Hoyoverse account to your game account. This means no HoyoLab features (like daily check in), no twitch drops, and discord linking to Hoyoverse accounts does not work either. Anything that needs a Hoyoverse account does not work.
• No Crossplay, you can only play through Steam so you cannot play the same account on mobile or use any launchers.
• No Hoyoplay launcher, which lets you play most of your Hoyoverse games from one single launcher.
• Can only play on the Global (EU/NA) servers.

BENEFITS

• Harder to forget your login, you have to lose your Steam account to lose your HI3 account. It is still very possible to lose your Steam account, but as long as you have access to your Steam account you have your HI3 account.
• You can use your Steam wallet to top up.
• Steam tracks your hours played (some custom launchers do this too for those with Hoyoverse accounts.)

For many captains the lack of Hoyoverse account features and lack of crossplay is a dealbreaker, but it's up to you how you plan on playing!

Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

there's not really a correct answer to this question because LoA rotations are quite flexible and it depends a lot on the boss and rot, i assume with astral ring attacks you mean the stellar shifts ?
if so the general rot would be dps stellar shift -> support 1 -> dps rotation -> support 2 -> dps, with how LoA works you might use both supports stellar shift first then come back to your dps or maybe even chose to just not use the stellar shift of one support if the boss would die if you'd just go back to your DPS

the rotation outside of SO would also be more like support 1 -> support 2 -> dps -> support 1 -> dps -> support 2, again this is just very general and LoA is one of the most flexible ring types when it comes to rotations

sometimes you also just switch in one of the supports with their qte but then switch them out again to just get that ari from their heavenly link

it really depends on the situation you can't generalise it, iirc there were some cases where you just didnt do vita stellar shift on some of her bosses

I understand that ELF are not used anymore, and I already have Jingwei's Wings, so there's that.
2.8 mil looks like a lot of money for me at the moment, with leveling valks and weapons, but I still have the starter shop, where I can buy coin weekly.

For the materials, this bundle is essentially free when you're not struggling with coins. The Elf parts are useless because Jingwei as an ELF is worthless to rank up and even when ELF were still common she lost her purpose when healing became irrelevant early on into the game's life

maybe save that bundle for when the starter shop is no longer available

yeah, although the swimming in coins thing will be an on and off thing. patch starts usually nuke your coins (from upgrading new valks and gear), but you can gain more than you can spend very easily throughout the patch

you can use either sparkle or badum as the leader/dps, depending on the enemy
the in-game tutorial (button in the upper right of the char screen) is pretty good for basic team rotations
you can look at the tutorials for all three valks to see how they are generally used
