Ranks are significantly less impactful than having more valks, almost always, but they can get you some bonuses on your score

If your goal is just to collect valks it’s not worth it because ranks will cost you more than you earn from better scores, but if your goal is to get better scores as a terminal result a well placed rank could help sometimes

Afaik it also varies from valk to valk

Paws does not need her weapon to support but || the next valk can also function with 2 other RoO units and I wouldn't recommend pulling a valk without their weapon ever since you basically only get half the value ||

Her support also suffers since weapons also have team buffs and often a independent multiplier which is pretty nice

It's just not completely needed for her to support

So I just came back after years away, don't think I've even played in pt 2. Just dumped all my crystals for fun and pulled PAWS, but no weap. Seems like most new valks require multiple pt 2 valks for their teams, but what if you only have 1? Can I just run her with Eden and Fischl and do well enough for now?

Asterite shop has Valkyrie boltstorm and blastmetal (Helia and Coralie) available to use in the team.
The helia will help with the lightning buffs while Coralie outside of her buffs will also allow you to take advantage of more of the leader effect of PAWS. (Coralie is rite of oblivion ring type which is the universal slot in for rings)

Not completely sure how eden will perform compared to boltstorm so you might need to test it out yourself.

I tried it with Helia+ coralie, sadly i can't make it right. I tried put coralie as leader, and well it's bad. Best result for me was when i skipped outburst and just rotate between Helia+coralie for buffs, then x3 PAWS ult and repeat.

it makes sense that setting coralie as a leader is worse because in p2 team building the leader = the dps, though why don't you have a third valk in your team there are plenty of cope options

TA, RC or VBs for example with VBs being the prefered one since she gives lightning buffs that are not bound to a specific ring type

Kira instead of RC if you alr have her at SS somehow

Actually not sure about CN, her rot is pretty long, might not be worth if gearless

Gear-wise you can make signature stigs (Tsiolkovsky) for A-rank Coralie and use Glut T FHM MB on RC/Kira

You also need to get VBm's sig weap from P2 story if you haven't alr

It depends on how much you are willing to spend but level rush is the best value bundle you can get, the crystals alone are worth it compared to what you would normally spend, HoHe is more of a nice to have she won't really be extremly usefull once you reach higher level content. Jade knight is completely free and Battle Pass or Monthly card are not required to get her from the Training plan.

building isnt really complicated sig stigamatas are craftable and if you don't have the sig weapon ( you should normally always get it) just use the craftable at lvl 35, though just fyi vita wasn't really recommended to pull atp but if you're approaching this game from a casual perspective it's a different story

but to give a very basic tl;dr p2 valks are a dps in their ring, or a support for their ring/other rings that they have the tags for

you choose the ring by making a valk the leader of the team (their ring will be used)

and valks who have the leader's ring as one of their tags will be used as supports

an example such as thelema dps, who has the wheel of destiny ring, requires units with the "harmonized shadow star" tag to support wheel of destiny

Well, even Phys weaps can be used on Ele valks as stat sticks, and I doubt you have anything better

Despite being a must-pull on her release, Vita is no longer recommended to pull for.

This is due to a combination of factors:

• New releases take priority.
• Vita cannot support Grail of Infinitude or future ring types.
• She is not best in Wheel of Destiny teams unless ranked.
• In Law of Ascension teams, she is typically not BiS but it depends on the boss/team.
• Vita DPS relies heavily on HoFi (with Waxing Moon equipped) and is not shilled frequently.
