that's not the whole truth

in today's meta/standard, astral ring units are superior to older units (the terms p2 and p1 will get thrown around to describe the units with or without astral rings)
however, these units have 1 HUGE flaw, they are extremely, like very extremely reliant on their weapon, and only work with specific team comps who share similar traits to each other (astral ring and tags)
the units you have, mps vbs and jds, are pretty niche and generally not valuable anymore since they dont fit into the second part of my previous statement (unable to support newer units, and due to age no dps weathers are common for them)

Yae Sakura has a bunch of different battlesuits so just saying her name doesn’t narrow it down much but I don’t think any of them have more than niche use and even that only when with the proper gear

For new players there aren’t a ton of options available for building that are “good” for hard content; there’s the gacha ops (Planar Armanant Warped Spacetime, and technically Peregrine Sword but she’s probably not worth pulling for unless you’re loaded on crystals) and then a varying number of free cope options you can get from war treasury / asterite shop that aren’t good qua good but can support good units somewhat

There’s a beginner teams post here #👶beginner-help message but outside of the abyss they’re not terribly needed until you get some more levels

yes its very f2p and beginner friendly

Ring type defines the playstyle for the valkyrie. For example, Wheel of Destiny are soloers while Grail of Infinitude like PAWS have ult spam playstyles.

The team leader is the main dps for teams (and activates ther ring) with the supports ideally being valkyries with the associated ring tags.

There is an associated tag for each ring and the valkyries that have the tag can support dps of that ring by taking advantage of the rings mechanic e.g valkyries with Symbiosis tag have 0 cost ults after QTE in GoI teams and increase the shiny bar for PAWS in stellar outburst

and when you have multiple options then other stuff comes in

AstralOps carry buffs for specific ring types with the moxt notable effects being faster astral ring intensity regen so you can ring earlier/repeatedly faster.
Notable mention to TeriOp allowing LoA team leader to super qte twice.

They only come into factor at nirvana and above, not needed for anything below.

rewards yes, gameplay wise there's a ton of stuff for new players to do which you might like or dislike, in terms of endgame competition it's good for f2ps but not really good for beginners unless you start on a specific patch that lets you build a team like 7.3 or 7.8 which had one valk + one gear banner and uses two non-gacha valks

It'd be better to save for 8.4 valk || cause she also supports paws while also being a breach support (resistance ignore). Adding in that her ring type is the universal support ring type i.e lots of team flexibility ||

2.replace Dea with another support. Herrscher of Truth/Azure Empyrean/Reverist Calico/Sugary Starbust/Coralie/SS rank Wolf Dawn. ur team uses 2 dps with no team buff, that's bad
3.replace wangzhaojun with fuhua musician or better fire stig (coralie stig work). about weap it is better for ur economy to keep it at lvl35
