Theres also the consideration that since you're going to be more casual, getting only the best of the best isnt as much of a priority, but when you backpull, its taking crystals and pulls away from new stuff that just flat out will perform better in most cases so its a bit of a balancing act imo for the more casual players

I can understand that, theleme is still my favorite valk to play, one thing that you can do that imo isnt quite enough, but may scratch that itch is doing their trial stages that you can do without pulling on the character and playing with them there.

when a newer unit releases, most abyss weathers will be dedicated towards their niches (aka shill)

so you will notice weathers that either:
benefit helia's ring
benefit helia's bio typing
benefit helia's lightning element

more commonly appearing near the start of the patch and for some upcomming patches

since abyss is also your main source of crystals, its important to pull units who will benefit you due the most

you are more likely to make closer to 20-25k depending on your crystal sources and ranking in abyss (non-beginner) per patch

so its more or less a garunteed s rank battlesuit + weapon hard pity every 2 patches

getting lucky will help a lot in garuntee 2 suits back to back

weapon resonance can only be obtained by converting bounty weapons at the moment (check the foundry priority list as well)
as for stigmata resonance, you either obtain it weekly from adventure tasks finalization rewards, or crafting g2? g1 and above stigmatas, then converting those stigmatas. As starfall mentioned in the next message, g1 kallen pledge is the most effecient

also, makes no difference when you pri-arm the weapon, the only concern is:
do you actively use this valk?
and do you have pri-arm materials available for future valks

the main difference between pri-arming pre and post lvl 81 (breakthrough) is that you can take the weapon to lvl 65 post breakthrough, but obviously this costs a lot

2. pri arming is always an upgrade cuz you just gain an extra passive and once you reach lvl 81 you can level the weapon up to lvl 60

What kind of player do you see yourself as? Do you care about keeping up with the meta to gain more crystals? Do you see yourself as a casual player that will focus more on story/event and just want to collect what you like eventually?

Anything else in your existing account you're very attached to? Especially exclusives that you can no longer obtain such as past emblems or profile frames?
Also note you can't unbind an account from a hoyoverse account either. So if you have other games on it and want to keep it altogether then you'll have to stick with it.

• Starter manual doesn't really have anything exclusive. It does offer a nice batch of crystals and some other stuff that are outdated in the top meta but can be used in the meantime when you're still lacking. Not really anything to concern deeply over if you want to stick with your current account.
• HoV shouldn't be a concern since she's farmable from war treasury and metawise is heavily outdated. (herrscher label means nothing)
• 44 away from a valk is very minor in the grand scheme of things. If you really want to chase over mileage of this extent on a new account, the next patch is only a few days away. Wait until then and reroll new accounts until you get helia valk early for rougly a near 90 pull discount. Restarting and redoing the tutorial over and over isn't everyone's cup of tea however.
• the level rush bundle for newer players that give hohe is paid money only. HoHE herself is meta but not a strong priority to go out of your way for, and requires a newer gacha exclusive stellar key weapon that isn't rerunning anytime soon.
• as for your screenshot, nothing there is top meta anymore and all of it is now farmable. Albeit some of it such as HoT's old signature gears are more out of the way than others so don't expect to get them back in a practical manner.

the main idea of restarting/rerolling is because your existing account is no longer personally valued (things on it are no longer meta, and/or you no longer care about what you have on it)

and it has already consumed permanent available crystals (from story, ER, etc)

so restarting lets you reallocate these permanent crystals, as well as beginner exclusive ones, to other things especially newer and more meta releases

but this is just a jumpstart so to speak and there's no exclusive long term benefits to it. If you want to stick with your current account, then it's just going to take more time to gain more crystals in comparison for the short term.

How quickly you gain them will depend on your performance and rankings but overall war treasury valks are largely no longer important for meta performance so you can get anyone you like at your relative leisure. (there can still be a priority if you really want to be optimal/rush for crystals. Check pins for that.

AL is a bit more notable where you only really start getting that at late game (cap lv 81+) but you can reach that in roughly a month nowadays. The level grind isn't as long as it used to be

you remember the bar above your hp? there's 2 of them yellow and purple, if you hold atk when the yellow bar is completed it restores sp, if you do it when the purple bar is completed it applies a dmg vulnerability debuff on the enemies it hits
if you do both then do the enhanced weapon active it will apply rime trauma

normally you'd ignore the yellow bar, but since you have a S rank pardo can be a viable option to increase sp generation for ult uptime, as well as applying rime trauma since S rank pardo increases team's damage dealt against frozen enemies

(edit: while you get more crystals this way, any valk+weapon you roll for isn't going to pay for herself. It's arguably still a loss if you're not interested in the meta+character)

but obviously meta isn't for everyone and sometimes people may have more specific and deviant goals like a non meta favorite character

as for expeditions, you dont really need to spam coin expiditions to make a lot of them, a lot of coins will accumulate when you close all your coin dumps, you make significantly less than you spend if you keep spending
universal mirage also has a pin linked to it "mirage farming" which can cover these topics as well
your weekly missions such as abyss and ma are tied to your account, the better your account the easier you will be able to clear these (are you 100% sure you wouldnt mind restart , you can make crystals and all the valks previously mentioned are farmable)

starchasm nyx.... im gonna hold your hand when I say this but nothing is helping her. You could try farming jk from war treasury (beginners get her for free now) and using rc/kira with her but its not gonna be nice
HoR and HoT are in a similar boat, and they both require their dkey to be functional at this point and time, as there's not much alternative

get redlotus or keep redlotus for a rotation (depending on how hard it is)
Save crystals and focus on latest release when you can guarantee both valk and weapon early in the patch is the main idea. You can achieve RL even with just one well built recent team but staying there is a different story and would need more valks/coverage.

be able to breeze through any non competitive event/activity/stage
you don't need anything for that for the most part due to trials mentioned earlier

• for elysian realm even S rank coralie with barebone wang zhaojun stigs can handle finality difficulty.
• stress test is highly specific and permanent. not anything you need to rush
• mirage is very outdated so having newer valks will easiliy resolve that

if you havent broken through you will be in q-manifold which is significantly easier to clear compared to superstring dimension
and as you reach masters in q-manifold (lvl 70-80) you can start to encounter difficulty

in exalted (superstring dimension lvl 81+) you will notice that the difficulty increases exponentially compared to q-manifold and redlotus there is the "lowest" competitive standard, you are more likely to find the right teams and an active leaderboard there

For most part 1 physical teams, the best supports are

• herrscher of rebirth seele (horb) - provides long lasting and high impair which reduces enemy defense. Every phys team basically wants this
  • can use Herrscher of sentience in the meantime
• reign solaris. this is an astral ring (part 2) valk but she has part 1 functionalities (not all of them have that)
  • can use terminal aide prometheus in the meantime
• project bunny elf (can aim to get this from future spending events. needs 3* upgrade point to be able to ult asap)
• beware delta does sometimes depend on her QTE to fill her meter and have qte conditions that haven't aged well to newer supports. Expect some awkwardness when playing her well.

Gear

• weapon is obtainable from exchange shop. Either roza's or liliya's weapon will allow you to get the recipe for the pri arm.
  • blue resonances used to be acquired by converting (not salvaging) old p1 signature gacha weapons but those aren't really in the newer gachas anymore. Nowadays newer players have to craft bounty weapons (not abyss or pinion though) and convert them. Cheapest one is 3rd sacred relic but not by much. Can craft others for collection points which yield slight crystals.
• i actually have no idea what is truly best stig wise. This is because of two things
  • horb has a skill that guarantees crits and converts excess crit rate into crit damage, so some phys valks can change to gears that more emphasize that.
  • Meta (but unimportant) content delta can still handle are overkill, where you don't need to maximize but rather just make sure you have enough. otherwise they are highly specialized and not suited for practical play (e.g. conditions of picking up an sp pack)
  • possible considerations: elysia TB (g4 craft in foundry) + dante M (g3?). also shuijing set (g3) idr if there was an off piece for this.

Metawise

• delta can still be used for SS difficulty arena but scoring rewards for that isn't important

here's a very textbook example of how delta handles multiple SS arena bosses (cannot work for all of them)

• note both vodka sisters have delta's pri arm. You need to craft a dupe. (once you unlocked the recipe, you can use other 4* "premium" (past gacha exclusive) claymore base rather than roza/liliya's past signature weapons.   Some things in this setup can vary slightly

• newton T is sometimes used instead of shennong (the latter requires an sp pack pickup. Some bosses will drop them at specific hp points. You can see the person paused midfight because the hp point was already reached. However an item isn't pickup-able until their bouncing animation is done. Pausing doesn't stop this so people exploit it to pick up packs earlier than usual.
• Celestial Hymn (CH) can use paganini TM Newton B if she opts to hold atk as the enemy spawns (second video)
  • elludinir cross can be an even more niche situational pick
• i feel there's much more i haven't mentioned but i can't recall them for now. have an open mind when looking for other stuff. i want to say in a few cases i've even seen delta as a support instead of a dps.

overall plenty of other teams can handle these fights too. These are just ways delta can handle them

valks with that tag can support that ring

roo ring has a unique tag to be a filler for any ring
but roo valks cant be a part of the ring itself (for example, in loa, if you used coralie she wont have her enhanced qte like other loa valks)

which is why, despite roo being able to support every ring, its not as reliable as having the actual valk

in this game the enemies as well as weathers (which provides buffs and debuffs) rotate so there's a team for every cycle, the only consistent thing is that you wanna do your best and get the newest unit with her gear as you'll have the most use of the character this way and compete better
