more than this cannot really be said, cause it’s on individual basis

depends on what units and what boss

if you’re relatively new, then it’s actually a good idea to do ’em manually for now to learn some bosses mechanics and some old -ish units and get a feel for the game

if no tickets then you can just use the recommended team, read a bit about the boss, u can check the valks tutorial if you want and that will help you get more than you need for the rewards, but you can still half ass it and still get the rewards you need
unless you're actually interested in sim battles

sim also promotes friend buff. some strategy/team won't even work if u don't have LE friendbuff for initial SP, like the BKE team vs Kallen or Starlite team vs Dark XuanYuan

elysian realm only requires 1 valk to clear deep sequence every week

They all have the same leveling system, level 1 - 80
The difference is their skills and base stats, a rank valks unlock more skills as they rank up but they are also farmable

S ranks do unlock skills as well, but ranking them up if they aren't farmable requires pulling copies

Coralie and helia who are a rank valks are available to farm in the asterite shop which is why picking up ranks on them is recommended (coralie since she has wide beginner coverage and both ranked to s for dorm lvl progression)

if you look into a valk's skills you will see skills that are locked behind S/SS/SSS rank. And ofc a valk gains more stats (ATK, HP, DEF, CRT, etc) when ranked up

there are farmable valks and gacha valks. Farmable valks can S/SS/SSS up by farming their frags while gacha valks require pulling supply for their copies which will turn into frags

so either you'd want to swap one of them out for someone who has the corresponding support tag or use them both in a LoA team as mentioned

Overall, you should only affix Best-in-Slot Stigmata and generally aim to get as much Atk as possible on your DPS Valkyries first. Ensure that the Battlesuit/Weapon Type matches what the Affix line demands otherwise the Atk will not apply.
