hmm it varies a lot with different characters, the in-game tutorials for the part 2 valks is pretty good for the most part, but the teams for team rotations aren't updated for when new valks come out. if you don't mind reading then i can point you to some guides on hoyolab

as far as main story goes you don't need anything special for that. Even the freebies the game gives you early (such as herrscher of the void on day 2) is good enough to get through it. After a while the game stops letting you use your own valks too and forces trials on you for immersion

She works fine as a support without it and vita DPS is VERY limited when it comes to team options.

id suggest saving up 16.8k and if badumms banner is still available try to get her while staying above 16.8k ( 60 Pulls, less if you have weapon banner pity)

It's only an option in the Chapter 1-3 open world of part 2. You can change by interacting with the mirror in Dreamseekers apartment. the gender carries over to other game-modes like abyss or MA.

The only issue is that from Ch 4 onwards the gender is locked to female so it autoswitches to that for those chapters. Will have to swap back to ch 1-3 to switch again to male

dw is currently a really niche valk only being BiS once a blue moon (everyone who already has her will have her geared, ranked, and already own the proper supports, which makes her value at s0 and ungeared even worse)
as for hotr, outside herrscher trio (assuming hofi has dkey) or if you have other fire/lightning teams already built, is not as used anymore excluding the fact that she is extremely gear reliant and rank reliant to boot

Semi-new player here looking for advice about APHO 2 and Elysian Realm. I’m playing mainly for story and currently up to Chapter 12, I want to avoid detailed spoilers if possible. I already know a lot of endgame facts like what the Elysian Realm is and who is in it (from fanfics lol), but I don’t know any specific details of how stuff goes down.

Can I play APHO 2 up to adventure tasks and Elysian Realm for weekly missions without learning too much future details or do I need to skip dialogue or should I avoid it entirely?

cheapest team that fully activates her leader skill is badum coralie and one of the other heavenly shift valks (hoh+dk, dudu, sparkle, vita, songque) or hofi+dk

with only badum coralie your third depends on what you have, could cope with some other p2 valk with any relevant buffs, or perhaps TA for the passive buff from her shield

#💁gameplay-help message people talked about using TA for the passive shield debuff but i personally found that you can't really cycle across kiana and coralie alone if you want to QTE in kiana (possibly notable for giving you ARI every 16s)

hm actually hold on i don't notice kiana gaining ARI at all from these QTEs in that clip lol

perhaps you can just turn off both valks' QTEs and cycle across them with TA staying off field then

(QTEing in a valk causes the valk swapped out to have a longer swap cooldown)

tldr if using Ba dum/coralie/TA

• turn off ba dum and cora's QTEs in the skill menu
• can prob not swap TA in at all with this team unless your shield breaks
• make kiana do a hold attack once in a while for her stigmata effects
• follow the video mentioned otherwise

I still recommend using CN over TA though. (edit: just use this lol)

if not really familliar with Sonque WoD support, but my guess would be to apply Sonques buffs and to charge attack and press WA when its ready on HoHe until your ARI is full, normally you would want Thelema to dps while HoHe is not able to enter SO. HoHe dps suffers a lot from not having thele, Thele is able to apply freeze trauma and to ARI farm with evades which are very usefull for HoHe
