basically when leader consumes SP or supports ult you gain shining trace, when you have enough shining trace you get 1 Facet of Infinitude
for mei it's 1 FoI = 900 shining trace, and you gain 300 shining trace when your supports ult for the first time
since you now get FoI earlier that means that more of your ults will have increased CDMG, if you reach 2 FoI your xdc finisher dmg also gets a small boost

now the thing is with the rot i currently gave you you wouldnt reach 2 FoI, you could also try, SO hle ult -> mei and do her shit, important to do her 3rd CA -> lv qte ult -> mei qte finisher

that way you waste a bit more time because of more qtes but since you cast LV's ult after mei's 3rd CA she gives you more shining trace

wait tbh i havent done the math if that gives you 2 FoI
