It can also be because you have too much or too little of a certain category of cards (you must have 8 evasion cards) so make sure those line up too

Also you can try to select the "None Recommended" option, choosing a preset could also maybe be the reason why it's breaking?

I think I got a problem.

I recently started the game (I am mainly a HSR player, I really just want to play part 1s story as a visual novel) and I bought Lunar vow:crimson love via the anniversary event box. My thoughtline was semi-new unit = easy story clearance due to the unit outscaling most of the story.

But now I have a problem. Lunar vow doesnt rerun anymore, and you cant unlock her astral ring unless you possess pact of companionship (wich doesnt rerun anymore due to the unit not rerunning anymore in general, and pact of companionship: evermore only being craftable if you own the baseline weapon).

What should I do?

story is just a one time thing and not really designed to be a significant portion of crystal income, a few stages doesn't give you much but when you put it all together it gives you enough for an entire valk which really helps beginners

I’d go all in for SW, there’s no real advantage to getting madam helix a month early - it’s the same crystals either way - but getting SW ranks a month early will help with ||her dps weathers||

the idea/objective is to hit the web spider enemy as early as possible with one of mei's actions that restores sp (possibly also with the least end lag so she can go straight to her ult afterwards asap but idk if any of her actions varies there)

have you consulted other videos to see what setups they may have? Technically none of it is required if you can nail the timing right but naturally having these actions can help hone on the actual timing more. Beware that some actions the refs may demonstrate may not be truly consistent (i found i can jump cancel out of an evade early for example)

also you were supposed to evade the second enemy's death explosion for the 1 ARI regen

actually i have no idea how it's like for RL and I don't have time to sit through the whole video

but if the fight is outburst gated then evading that explosion would be important

I just looked at Hieu li's video cause I often assume they're the peak performer in abyss - the person that does the run the fastest out of everyone in the community and everyone's runs copy their run. For no reason except I just kinda jump to conclusions. The run I used does evade the 2nd enemy's death explosion but in both runs ARI maxes out in the middle of Mei's rotation so I don't know if it means much

i wouldn't say that's the case for hieu le. They're just a consistent uploader that are high quality. But keep in mind how dynamic HI3 is and how accounts can vary. There has been times where Hieu le's method wasn't the best suited for some people. People often say Hieu le's damage exceed significantly than what they can deal and that can throw things off in the optimal way to approach the fight.

You'll prob churn out something solid from mostly referring to them but for best results, ideally you cross reference across multiple references and/or even think objectively if you need to make your own adjustments

if the ARI maxes out then it's prob not a concern. Other reasons may include sp (doubtful in this case), avoiding hitlag, or something with time fracture (slowing down Jizo if it spawns in time perhaps???)

The shadow flower bud flashes orange, which means you need to jump. this turns you into an energy ball and you need to collect all energy balls to hit dog with it.

orange flashes always indicate jump evasions, outside this boss too

there is a tactics training tutorial for practicing horizontal (jump) and vertical (normal evade) slash evasions in case you need it

both are sometimes tied to making enemies vulnerable after doing it successfully

sadly also means any non-p2 is locked out of jumping (unless their stellar key gave them the ability like HoFi) consider this when you're making teams around MA bosses

But changing the leader usually means changing your DPS in a p2 team

So you should really be asking youself, which one is more likely to do well as your DPS

You can try doing the first part of the boss with both and see which one feels better
