no weapon in RL as a bit tough yeah, generally paros is one of the less bruteforcable bosses so your xdc prob also wont do that much here, if you ever run into issues with xdc dmg outside of this weather feel free to ask again and if you're able to maybe also show a recording so that we could give you tips based on that

It doesn't apply any buffs

Badum applies her buffs via either QTE or CA

I think both HotR and Silverwing are justifiable then. S2 is a pretty big jump for HoTR, and if you’re still using her you’ll appreciate it. ||Silverwing ranks are mostly just attack and if you keep farming her you can probably get S3 or maybe SS by the time she releases||

And then next Rita or Dudu abyss where you’re coping with trio

ideally you start with bfdd doing her basics before the boss and make sure her fourth hit hits the enemy then her weapon skill and ult
and paws doing qte and ult
xdc (mei) depends, main goal is to get enough sp to ult and do her combo attacks
you get sp by: doing the full basic sequence or doing her weapon into attack
you want to alternate between these to do her ult
then when the bar is full you can do the full combo sequence
and you just alternate like that
there's an icon for bfdd's buff, if not going to stellar outburst then you wanna make sure you swap back to bfdd with qte into weapon into ult

in some cases if you have bio mobs as the first wave you would start with either full basic or weapon into attack with xdc into combo(s)

i recommend checking xdc's tactic class to understand her combos better

for stellar outburst you enter with xdc, do her ult 4 times into 3 combos then you switch to your supports and do their ult
for fdd you normally qte into ult but if you need the sp you do weapon before ult
for paws you can do the holf attack if necessary
then do the same thing with xdc again and finish with her weapon

it makes a lot more sense when you try it ingame

1-3 place are using badum instead of xdc and 1st place is using cx, so far this is my fastest gameplay because i tried to find refs but unsurprisingly its all rl so i had to come up with my own but is there anything i can do to optimize

• maybe have HLE qte in after XDC at the start > FDD QTE WA Ult > HLE QTE again for sp. Maybe this can remove some awkwardness in cutting down on basic attacks or going partial on them.
• depending on how cooldowns line up, i'm not sure if starting with HLE WA is best. You clear out p1 before the max hp phase can even end so there's no merit in starting it asap.
  • normally starting this asap is nice so that it can end sooner (you can't really get around it) because the enemy takes more damage when in regular red hp mode.
  • i guess an alternative opener is to prep FDD's basic attacks so the last hit lands when the boss is hittable. On paper this might save time in not needing to wait out the entire QTE animation for what you're doing now
  • if you're going for this, then i don't think you'll need to double QTE with HLE at the start. You'll still have the 90 initial sp abyss starts you with, and one QTE should let you do the first full ult > WA > ult again. Or you can just WA immediately depending on how cooldowns line up at the end.

• not really sure how this should go for you. maybe see if you can refresh buff effects from XDC and FDD if you're going to make HLE do non outburst stuff at the start of p2

• if you're not refreshing effects in transition, then maybe consider entering outburst immediately. You seem to have very excessive damage anyway
• FDD can prob skip her weapon active here and go straight to her ult to go back to HLE asap. HLE can go into negative sp and you seem to have more than enough to start it for the second cycle.
  • the FDD WA also slowed you down too much. When HLE returned and used her WA to gather all the shards, you already did ample damage to the boss when it was in red hp mode. The shards only reduce max hp so you want to get them and land a hit when the boss is in pink hp or when red current hp = max hp (when it's at the slashed gray lines)
  • Not sure if XDC QTE > WA would be faster instead.

i'm also wondering if you were to enter p2 outburst asap if it will be better to full ult immediately even though there's no time stop with this, just to trigger pink hp sooner. From there maybe you can

• WA 2x > hold ult not fully to not drain too much sp > full second cycle
• or just swap to one support > full second cycle
• WA 2x > hold full ult > end outburst might be an idea but i doubt it's enough damage.
  edit: these don't work. needs chenxue op for more sp.

i feel there might be something you can do in transition to not have to spend the WA on HLE so you can cast it at the start of p2 (so you get timestop from the full ult).
edit: i don't think this is worth pursuing. It does seem you do need some amount of personal damage from HLE so maybe the timestop in transition can help there (but i cannot test this for agony). At that point the time stop does have purpose in saving time while dealing more personal damage.

• Even if you can bring WA into p2, it takes time to cast the WA anyway and i think that's slightly slower (roughly 1 point) than just full ult immediately.

Since damage is excessive in p2, you can prob skip rebuffing with teammates and focus more on timing a basic mash so that the final part of it (also gathers shards) happens when there's enough shards on the field to break the spear.

maybe this is all too much theory and not concrete enough. Others can prob help you more if you still have trouble later but overall I do feel your score can improve.

so when going in with no idea how the fight is going to be, i do generally aim to do them off CD but once i see how far i'm getting into the fight with it, i can be more lax here and there

like no point in rushing for it if your fight is only going to last 40s and you're only getting two of them on each valk as a rough example

in some cases you may give up on them because you have enough ARI and you need prioritize damage or something. JDS personal damage can be potent in LoA against SD enemies

and since this is an SD fight you do want to prioritize JDS QTE and CA to start max hp phase asap

then at some point during that pink hp phase, land an FWS WA for the 8% hp reduction

but that's not so much of an LoA thing at that point. I digress

for any downtime while waiting for the 16s cd, you usually focus on the main dps actions but... because JDS is such a potent sub dps here you might consider prioritizing swaps to her more instead of FWS full meter attacks (esp when this is a single target boss that FWS does not link)

i think pure JDS QTEs can be more ideal rather than waiting out her CAs? (especially now that fish skip no longer exists)

You can refresh the S+ quests to see if you do them

eventually you'll run into S+ tasks with high requirements. You can view the errand and then click the upper right corner for the refresh button to jumble the specific parameters it's looking for but the quantity of stats will remain the same

you can only refresh twice a day for all tasks of that day. Not 2 refreshes of each task btw

Pure Witch Orb

Hi, Captain!

After successfully upgrading an S-Rank Valkyrie to SSS, the "Pure Witch Orb" section of the Witch's Corridor shop will be unlocked. Like normal Witch Orbs, any more fragments you obtain from this Valkyrie can be converted into Pure Witch Orbs (pwo) via Equip > Fragments > Convert (above Salvage, bottom right).

Conversions:

• S-rank valk frag => 50 pwo
• S-rank Awakening valk frag => 30 pwo

Here, you can buy stamps shown in the image below as well as Wafer Stabilizers (Affix lockers), Wafer Dataflows, and individual old S-Rank fragments. New stamps gradually get added to this shop.

The recommendation is account dependent; typically the newest stamps are worth considering if ranks on that Valkyrie benefit you competitively. Affix locks are a valid choice if you are desperately pushing for highly competitive affix lines. If you're not sure, hold onto your pwo for now and ask for advice!

you mainly get normal crystal cores from that shop. It's not efficient either. Just something to burn excessive currency on once you get very far in the game and developed everything else of priority

getting more valks in general also boosts your dorm level too, which gives you stats and multipliers for battle via dorm squad

anyway just to roughly summarize. WT valks are notable for

• rare cases of actual use in battle. not too existent nowadays (HoHE if you have her dkey.||SW next patch.|| Maybe niche MA strats if you care about them.)
• getting crystals from elysian realm (permanently available so you can always put this off but i would imagine you want to prioritize this most so you don't miss out on gacha banners)
• fulfilling requirements in dorm errands (SS rank recommended)
• gaining passive dorm squad stats and multipliers (it does add up to matter significantly esp late in the game/high in the meta)
• maxing them out for PWO shop (not efficient but it becomes a source for additional or more exclusive stuff when you have excess resources)
• getting more collection count to reach minor crystal milestone rewards (can fulfill this in other ways over time)

it's a bit diluted so getting +2 sync for your DPS isnt actually a straight up 4% increae but more 3.9..% but that's really nit picky
as a support it's often times just an increase from 2->4% but this may differ for other weapons

However for synergy 2, it increases that separate multiplier to 4%. It doesn't give you a separate 2%

Mitternacht is only really relevant when the full set is used on Fischl.

• Yes the status is only for the equipper of Zhenyi, Fischl in this example. It's not useful outside of Fischl tbh because team tdm after qte in Mitt is a Fischl only bonus.
• Mitternacht itself cannot be passed onto the team, but when Fischl does qte during Mitternacht (by pressing atk after her wa) she boosts team tdm - Zhenyi 3pc.
• Zhenyi M ends Mitternacht upon switch out and boosts team lightning damage for a bit.

Dps Zhenyi doesn't care about Mitternacht. Zhenyi TB is used for dps because both T and B (and the 2pc) have some very nice bonuses including lightning dmg taken on B and 10 sp upon wa on T which is (or... was) very important in some scenarios - primarily HoT, FR, even DJ.
