Astral Ring Attributes

Allow me to explain, Captain!

"Attributes" refers to tags that every Part 2 Valkyrie has, allowing them to provide benefits for multiple Astral Ring Specializations. Each Valkyrie usually has more than one Attribute.

Each one of the Astral Ring types has one associated Attribute that will make a Valkyrie synergize well with that AR type.
These Attributes are:

• Domain Resonance (related to [World Star](#👶beginner-help message]))
• Omniscient Star (related to [Rite of Oblivion](#👶beginner-help message))
• Harmonized Shadow Star (related to [Wheel of Destiny](#👶beginner-help message))
• Heavenly Shift (related to [Law of Ascension](#👶beginner-help message))
• Symbiosis (related to [Grail of Infinitude](#👶beginner-help message))

Each Valkyrie that has the related attribute will be able to use the mechanics of that Specialization, but still wont have all property of the team leader. For example, Lone Planetfarer has Heavenly Shift, but when she is in a team with [LoA](#👶beginner-help message) she can perform a Super QTE, but wont have the timestop and spam animation unlike Peregrine Sword

As Support:

• outside SO (ARC): You pretty much always want to use ult after her qte, to keep applying her buffs. Skip the WA chainsaw slashes, they usually eat more time than they deal damage and Ult is enough to refresh Switch CD for the Leader
• in SO: Hold Ult (ingame also prompts you to do so), use another ult on her right after. In GoI, both count as the actions to restore SP. In LoA, both trigger Stellar Shift from the Leader.

As DPS:

• outside SO (ARC): Apply support buffs first, QTE in and do the full Ult rotation with WA chainsaw slashes. They restore up to 6 extra ARI for Sync 1 weapon. You can also end frenzy early by holding WA instead of tapping it.
• in SO: Ult into WA slashes first, each slash will eat SP. Then use your support rotations, QTE back to LV after. Another Ult into WA slashes > Press Ult for Finisher > Can continue with ARC rotation on LV, refresh supports after.

Astral Ring Intensity is the points that you need to do stellar outburst.

ARC is astral ring charging which is when you aren't in stellar outburst

• She will have ult after qte, her dk gives you enough sp to use it.
• ARI is Astral Ring Intensity (what shessair said), we have a pin in #👶beginner-help where there's also a "Glossary of Terms" to look up any acronyms.
• Yeah, do her normal dps rotation. Your support buffs should still be up at this point unless a transition is coming up or something where the boss delays your damage

Also, Ult actually hits 45 times, making it good against hitcounter shields

well the first one u sent, there's like a +5 immediately for just doing eva weap on rita at 999/998 and then thel ults at 996

Seems pretty solid yeah, you have two HS supports two grail supports two WS supports, that’s pretty good ring coverage

Mei DPS is going to be a little rough with just Mei PS VBM unless you get lucky in carnival but should fs be playable

PS is a pretty good support for her

Grail: Chenxue. Can consider Sonque (for everyone except Mei) if you don’t have Chenxue, or Kiaelf for Paws and Luna
RoO: Chenxue. Can also use Kiaelf if you don’t have, then Teri is technically an option for Vita, or likewise can use sonque for anyone
LoA: Teri. If you don’t have Teri, can also use Kiaelf or Sonque for Badum dps; Chenxue also sometimes an option.
WoD: Serapeum. If you don’t have, then usually sonque (other than JDS), especially if you’re using Senadina
WS: for Horb, Serapeum or Chenxue or Project Bunny. For other WS, Sonque or Kiaelf usually.

There’s also specific times where this advice doesn’t apply, for instance Teri can occasionally be an option in eg Grail despite having no buffs for it if you don’t have Chenxue and the initial Ari is critical for your run, but these are exceptional occasions

||Youyun next patch is basically always BiS for Ws and a little worse than Sera for WoD||

In almost all cases everyone other than the main aop for the ring is way worse though

Even if they might still be a bit better than dreamseeker depending on the team and run

And Dreamseeker is functional in every ring

There’s also some specific other use cases for Elysia elf and Project Bunny at 4* but these are niche and not worth going into too much detail on unless you happen to have her already

I also don’t normally reccomend this but if it’s specifically sniping you’re concerned about you can leave off finishing side stage until the last half hour or so. those numbers don't mean anything to me when i don't know your current renovation progress

let's say you're at a low renovation level and can only put down one large bed

then you buy two beds where one counts for 150 comfort and the other counts for 100 comfort. Since you can only put down one large bed with your current renovation limit, only the 150 comfort one counts since it's the highest comfort one.

now let's say you upgrade your renovation level and now you can put down two beds. Suddenly your comfort increases to 250 because it's counting your two largest comfort beds

you get to a higher total comfort with a combination of:

• increasing your renovation level to increase the limits of furniture you can put down in your room
• owning more furniture with high comfort values up to the separate limits of each specific category

You’d use Mei if you’re slivering with Badum or you need bio mobs dead or such

For specifics Mei was pretty good for Luna on bleed tribunal

I haven’t seen many other BiS cases in grail so far but she’s also quite new

Astral Ring Attributes

Allow me to explain, Captain!

"Attributes" refers to tags that every Part 2 Valkyrie has, allowing them to provide benefits for multiple Astral Ring Specializations. Each Valkyrie usually has more than one Attribute.

Each one of the Astral Ring types has one associated Attribute that will make a Valkyrie synergize well with that AR type.
These Attributes are:

• Domain Resonance (related to [World Star](#👶beginner-help message]))
• Omniscient Star (related to [Rite of Oblivion](#👶beginner-help message))
• Harmonized Shadow Star (related to [Wheel of Destiny](#👶beginner-help message))
• Heavenly Shift (related to [Law of Ascension](#👶beginner-help message))
• Symbiosis (related to [Grail of Infinitude](#👶beginner-help message))

Each Valkyrie that has the related attribute will be able to use the mechanics of that Specialization, but still wont have all property of the team leader. For example, Lone Planetfarer has Heavenly Shift, but when she is in a team with [LoA](#👶beginner-help message) she can perform a Super QTE, but wont have the timestop and spam animation unlike Peregrine Sword

Stellar Drain is a mechanic where using specific attacks to hit an enemy can restore a large amount of Astral Ring Intensity ([ARI](#👶beginner-help message)).
However, each Character on the team only gets 1 stack of Stellar Drain and can only consume their own stack. This stack is restored across the team when entering battle or exiting Stellar Outburst (SO).
Normally the amount of ARI generated by consuming Stellar Drain is 20 if the Character has the matching attribute for that team. When the Character does not have the matching attribute for that team they usually restore 10 ARI. (for more info on team building, view [!faq ring](#👶beginner-help message)).

• Note that:
• Stellar Drain stacks are NOT visible
• Stellar Drain stacks can NOT exceed 1 per Character
• when attacking an enemy, the game may register your attack as a hit even if you don't see any actual damage numbers; this may be because the enemy is hidden or non-targetable
• the amount of ARI generated can also be affected by weapon passives/Character skills
• Characters may have multiple ways to consume Stellar Drain; for example, FWS can consume Stellar Drain with her CA and her enhanced WA
