also HLE (hi love elf) is the leader in the team you're using, not paws ( planar armament: warped spacetime, the S rank helia/sliver hair girl in that team), which means that HLE is the dps in that team, not paws, you are wasting time and damage because you used stellar outburst and only used paws as the dmg dealer

also this is an important thing to know even if you’re not bruteforcing it

i could also record a run in a higher rank to give you a general idea how that team is played, though this won't always be something you can expect from this help channel so it's best to understand why certain actions are done during the rotation. This is also something essential for adjusting your own rots since you then know what you could cut/add to your current rotation.

the general idea for supports is to look at their 3pc stigmata effect and see through what actions they activate their respective buffs
be aware that some valks also apply their buffs via other things like ult for example.
then when you switch to them in battle perform that certain action so that your DPS will be buffed
another thing you want to be aware of in your support's rotation is how the support consumes stellar drain.
consuming stellar drain results in you gaining ARI ( the resource you need for your SO) which is quite useful.

for the DPS the tutorial in game is often quite alright for the general idea but if you want to go a bit more in depth i strongly recommend trying to read the kit. I can also help you with any questions about a valks kit since it can be a bit overhwelming at first and i do enjoy reading kits lmao

after you got a general idea on how to play each valk normally the rotation would go something like

support 1 actives their buffs + stellar drain
support 2 actives their buffs + stellar drain
DPS comes on field and does their stuff until buffs run out or SO is ready

note that this is a very general rot and this can change quite drastically depending on the DPS + what astral ring specialisation they have

she's good if you can pull her without risking your funds for 8.7, 8.7 is CNY and normally a patch with a rather good valk + spending event maybe even a dkey or an aop

she's also a rather good WoD support and a portion of her value lies in that supportive capabilities so how much you'll be able to utilise that

It would be solid. IMG coverage is always nice since IMG bosses really want IMG valks or you can't reasonably compete, even if their bruteforce performance often isn't amazing outside of their bosses , you really do feel it on their bosses.

and keep in mind Lunar Vow is more than just lightning. If you can support her bleed side, then that might be better too

those are the valkyries i would most consider for LV if you have them well built. Otherwise consider RC, PV, VBm for something cheaper but still quick/effective. Don't expect strong results with them.

Creating your own Tunnelvision when building a team will ultimately only limit yourself in being creative with team building and trying to adjust your team to your current situation.
While vita or senadina are good supports for WoD because they provide breach most of the supports aren't actually that far off from each other and you can be quite flexible with swapping one for another

her m stig specifically boosts weapon damage

so for some dps that uses weapon active more, or for some dps that have the option of dealing weapon damage instead of something else, this can come into play

the main example i know of this is lantern but this is a very technical example

lantern normally swaps across her three firearms as she attacks. This moment of swapping is considered weapon damage.
In practical play people just normally mash attack as they do this. However mashing attack will cancel this weapon damage segment early and shift to basic attack damage.
So optimizing lantern involves waiting out that weapon swap animation to mileage from Sena's M piece as much as possible

if that goes over your head, disregard it. It's very technical and minor

but it's just to at least give you an idea of how deep the rabbit hole can go in some cases, esp for sena

for broad and practical purposes, teammate covered it all.

Should I Pull AstralOps?

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

in reality the competitive advantage is whatever for lower rank abysses

it sounds nice on paper but keep in mind...

• super QTEs don't stop the abyss timer. You want to think about it in terms of damage per time
• roughly speaking from wyvern's testings i think it's only a 10% damage increase overall for one cycle?
• beware not every fight is the same. In some cases especially in RL you may not even have a long enough fight to appreciate it greatly/fully.

On my run I only casted her base ult because I saw the red highlight on the boss’s HP bar

But on your run, and other runs I see, they use her replicate ult where is no red bar and then the replicate ult brings the boss down to execute threshold

What I’ve been doing is ulting when the boss is already in the execute threshold

i can kill it when the bar is at 4x and there’s still half a bar left

basically rita’s stellar outburst ult can snipe insta kill even when the boss still has 2 bars left

so if your dmg is enough to deal 2 bars worth of dmg then kill at 4x

if not then 3x and so on

anyway yeah WoD lets you bypass doing stellar drain moves on other valks if someone else is more preferred.
But beware this isn't always the case. You may still opt to swap to supports to trigger their own stellar drain quicker, or in the case of Vita access her own exclusive stellar drain benefits. In some fights you may not even need all your stellar drains but this goes for any ring type and not just WoD.
