knight bp for crystals can be ok if you exhausted all other efficient options, but i can't recommend doing it for thelema alone meta wise

if you're getting thelema for hohe purposes, then keep in mind HLE has replaced thelema in some but not all purposes

this is a boss that wants you to freeze it. HoHE's ability to freeze isn't practical. At this point you can see HLE being used to do it instead

actually i don't think this sort of cycle (boss + weather) ever ran when thelema was really prime.

I think i heard of high level strats that uses both hle and thelema too

but the point is, if you already have HLE, for the purpose of freezing, she can be good enough for HoHE as a main dps

Probably neither are worth getting from meta PoV; if you like one of them or have a ton of crystals we can talk specific details

But it’ll be account dependant

i only looked into meta recently, so many of my valks are still not built up. these are who i have at the moment! i'm close to getting an weapon on the equipment supply, so crystals aren't that big of an issue. i have reign solaris' stigmatas, but i don't have HoHE's if that matters at all! i like both characters an equal amount as well

So from a meta perspective the best pull is to save for next patch, Rita, and get her + wep. If I was not interested in doing that, or if I could afford that and something else

Then there’s two considerations

HoHE will be more useful in the long run, because a divine key is +10 account wide attack. However, in the short run you won’t have very much in the way of uses for her, because her dps shill requires characters you don’t really have and she’s not a good support for any battlesuit you have

Reign Solaris, on the other hand, can be used to cope some of next patch’s ||img weathers||

So in the immediate term you’d probably get more use out of her

Both RS and HoHE Dkey are pretty old at this point (5 and 4 patches, respectively) so neither of them have a ton of dps shill left in them

so to start off, go to your valkyrie menu and click on hle's ring

these are hle's ring tags, aka which rings she is able to support

you can also see which other units posess that tag

Neither of them is very useful. There’s a pin in beginner help you can look at if you want specifics, or if one of them is your favorite you can grab that, and I think for newbies there’s technically a starter mission that’ll give you like 20 crystals if you pick HoHE but it’s a very minor difference

Broadly, if you have dkey HoHE is more useful, if you don’t but have trio or sparkle HotR is more useful, if you have neither both are basically useless but HotR maybe slightly less

Hawk of the fog requires you to hold the Ult button to activate the ult. This is really common if they want an extra button so just pressing ult will give you the attack/switch but holding will give you ult.

And the quantum damage reduction is enormous

So if you’re doing dps while ignoring the mechanics it’ll come out of your score

I just tried a HLE run while completely ignoring collapse just to test and got 500 points, obviously the difference decreases the higher your score was to begin with but there’s potentially a lot of points on the table from collapsing better

Kira is good if you are really good at playing her and moderately lucky and terrible if you aren’t

alright. Took a while but I'm uploading it now, pretty sure the damage will be similar or better for you (I'm in RL and didn't activate my gene limits, but I have SSS synergy 3, my paws has wep, my attack prolly higher)

it's not my best work by a longshot, I'm not good enough to pull it off without malding and I am not malding that much for something that doesn't improve my score; as I mention in the description I put together a perfect intro with an okay one that had a perfect start of phase 2, since in the first run I fumbled phase 2.

also this is a 2 SO run and everything between the SOs is pretty bad because at this point I just wanted to get it done, probably a good 40-50 points better than this is possible if you combine correct intro and better transition between phases

if your damage is really a lot better than mine you can also end SO 1 early, that will save a ton of time waiting for second SO (and it's what I did with HLE FDD Badum) but I think the damage just isn't there for you without two full sos. You could try it tho

After successfully upgrading an S-Rank Valkyrie to SSS, the "Pure Witch Orb" section of the Witch's Corridor shop will be unlocked. Like normal Witch Orbs, any more fragments you obtain from this Valkyrie can be converted into Pure Witch Orbs (pwo) via Equip > Fragments > Convert (above Salvage, bottom right).

Conversions:

• S-rank valk frag => 50 pwo
• S-rank Awakening valk frag => 30 pwo

Here, you can buy everything shown in the image below. Occasionally new stamps get added to this shop. The recommendation is to buy Wafer Stabilizers, but you may also buy stamps of your choice or even Wafer Dataflows if you are pushing for 23 ATK affix lines.

yeah with HLE maybe you can get away with two symbiosis (including from HLE herself) and have the third slot be RoO (Vita for lightning, or instead VBs Coralie/HFi kiana for Fire depending on what you need)

• normally we don't look at tags of the leader though. So we really would just say HLE leader with one or two symbiosis supports.
• a valk that has the ring type will always have the matching tag, but not the other way around.
  • A grail ring valk will have symbiosis tag (e.g. HLE)
  • a symbiosis tag may not have grail ring type (e.g. PS sushang)

as others said, HLE can go into negative sp so the restoration from one symbiosis supports can be enough.

An RoO valk for the last slot still gives you high max hp = more % of sp to work with. (idr the source of it. maybe from HLE's leader skill)

and also spend a run (maybe one that already went poorly) to just reading text that pops up in the center or left side. Observe the boss behaviors (esp for any icons below their hp bar)

loosely speaking, the boss tracks how much and what elemental damage you dealt and changes across two phases depending on this

once it spends enough time tracking, it will spend a period of time with higher resistance to the damage type you dealt the most

you don't need a qua valk to handle qua bosses necessarily

qua valks mainly provide the utility of collapsing the boss on their own (as opposed to normally how you need to wait for the boss to give you opportunities to do so)

ofc a qua valk does have type advantages as you mentioned but that's only roughly a 30% damage increase

a 30% boost for an outdated valk that's more than half as bad as a modern team isn't a net gain

specific qua valks may have further mechanics but i'll leave those out for now

nyx is only really an old dps. She has no support features. You can't really lump her into another team just to purely collapse (ok some meme teams may do this but anyway)

technically you're not wrong but largely speaking that's not it

both helia and senadina set up marks actually

so after helia's grenade or sena's anchor in outburst you'll see they leave behind a mini anchor

the appearance of a mark is different from valk to valk though

(seele's is a small tree. sparkle is two fishes circling together)

But technically speaking, you want someone who can apply a mark and then get to your damage dealer to pop it?

but overall mark placers go first > then you use detonators to pop them

damage dealer isn't the correct term but you have the right idea

the real damage is coming from the mark placer

upon popping, damage that happens from it mainly scales from the placer. not the detonator

so coralie popping sena's mark is mainly dealing senadina's damage

so we don't care about how coralie is fire type. When using her to pop sena's marks, we're mainly dealing lightning damage.

If using coralie to pop seele's marks then it's physical damage

generally the leader is the main dps and also what decides the ring type playstyle of the team
