Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

• not really a fan of how you ended teri's cycle just as tona got collapsed. You might want to find a different way to handle this so teri is swapping it just as tona got collapsed I guess i missaw something. You spent the spinning phase when tona got collapsed so i guess it's fine.
  • if you still want to play around with this, maybe you can cut teri's first cycle short. Can also consider wait for hfi's weapon active to actually hit for 10% more tdm.
  • but overall there prob isnt' enough time to experiment so just stick with that for now idk
• teri wasted alot of time with how p1 ended with the alarm clock attack. You don't really want to slow down the boss as you end this phase since you're waiting on it to proceed
  • i'm not really sure where else you can get more damage (maybe a ba2 cancel with vita? you can also swap off of teri before the alarm clock too but his runs the hassle of swapping back in to sleep ult later. for transition, i'm not sure what valks on this team can do it, but you can pop the 2nd blue orb in the back a bit after the first one is countered. You need a melee move that reaches back far enough though but you evidently have it (was it teri's puppets??? maybe you can try hfi's other attacks or vita's non transformed attacks too. Although i'm pretty sure the latter doesn't work enough)

confirming tona's able to be hit is fair but it feels a bit slow. Maybe you can try to push to make it earlier?

second phase, optimal hfi sequence is ba1 > evade > ba1 ba2 > evade > ba1

maybe skip kiana and vita's ults here since they cost slight time entering and leaving, and you need to qte back to teri anyway

for prometheus with default setup you generally want to use your moves to get rid of the axes, and their ability will help blow up other pieces on the board. prome's skill only targets damage dealing pieces, so her 3rd piece (the battery) doesnt deal damage so it helps influence her skill to apply to other pieces so you can get big chains. as pieces blow up the batteries will naturally group up at the bottom and clear themselves, giving you SP and explosion gems if youre lucky. her skill doesnt cost a move so its good to use it when available so you get free moves. just be careful sometimes if you can make a line of 5 for an explosion gem you might want to get that instead of using her skill which will likely alter your board.

for item use, the electric ball that increases only your next attack by 50% i think is best used when you swap an explosion gem with any enhanced tile because it wipes the board, since it only affects one move and not subsequent chains. other items are more straightforward and dont need any setup.

prometheus buff doesnt stack so it doesnt matter if you have 2 or 10, thats just the number of turns remaining of the buff (but it is a good indicator of whether a person has been getting a TON of SP from big chains or not)

i did this all the way to 10k before playing Kira fulltime (until new chars unlock), so it should work well for you!
