beware the friend must be be captain level 6-79 to be eligible as a cadet

if your friend is already a high captain level, they can no longer be a cadet but instead can find accept cadets of their own

nothing you should craft preemptively ahead of time if that's what you mean.

Nowadays signature stigmata are much more accessible and are very prevalent (major team buff on 3pc effect) making them very difficult to replace

there are still a few foundry stigs that are still potent for very niche memorial arena strategies. A g3 one off the top of my head is avogadro set for additional sp on the valk

but you don't have to craft this right now as you may never encounter these niches, especially with the game advancing causing them to become replaced with simpler alternatives

or new ones may come up down the line too. You never know

i recommend farming up a stock of various foundry materials to have ready so you can craft any particular one at any time

Starless weather with rimestar is coming up in the abyss schedule iirc. HoO main dps or FoV main dps may possibly be considered there.

and as said before, old 0s strats with p1 valks in SS MA haven't changed but these are very case by case ands specific, and SS MA in general isn't important in terms of rewards

Hoyo could potentially bring back a similarly recent p1/non astral ring team too down the road, but for now we have no foresight of that

PAWS have taken para sushang but starless benares may still belong to LV ScI GD. Granted your idea of p1 may disagree when ScI is a main dps in this team (lv is leader so there's no astral ring mechanics)

overall i cannot predict hoyo so i can't give you a complete answer. Do you have a more specific team in mind to ask about?

it kinda depends

it's costlier to craft it rather than rolling for it. You have to pay an extra 600 ether fuel and 2 prisms per stig to manually craft them. You may also not want to craft them if you anticipate a newer set to upgrade in the near future. (e.g. next new valk in a few weeks)

However the 3pc effects are where all the major team buffs are.

The main general answer is conservative. Avoid crafting and work with other things the best you can until you encounter a situation where you really need the improvement for a tangible reward (higher abyss rankings for crystals mainly) and can spare the materials.

In the case of an older valk there's an additional factor to consider too

pulling on reruns in general is not recommended. If you want to be meta but you're light budget/f2p, you already cannot afford all new future releases.

There's a bunch of reasons I can talk about for why "backpulling" reruns is bad for meta investment but

Now if you already have the older valk without her weapon then you can still attempt to make use of her as a support. The weapon may or may not be as essential for that role.

I'm not sure how it is for FDD so you'll have to read what her signature weapon does.

signature weapons mainly provide alot of personal damage (20-60% depending on the valk) which makes it usually non negotiable if you want to use them as a dps (every p2 valk can be a dps or a support now). For a support this is usually not as important.

signature weapons may also provide utility important for the valk's gameplay flow

Depending on what FDD's weapon provides, and if you're only focusing on meta, you may opt to cut losses on her weapon so you can better focus on future valks with their weapons together instead.

As the faq says, you already missed out on a portion of FDD's use cases so you're NOT getting as much value from spending crystals on her.

On the other hand she will rerun next patch and it'll only take 60 rolls at worst to get.

i'm not sure about using FWS enhanced WA. I loosely generally think of it as more time than it's worth when FWS is support but I might be wrong.

• in the case of ending transition, i guess you needed the damage so JDS can knock out the second checkpoint early. That one is valid.

1:11 you spent an extended time not attacking so ARI wasn't refilling as much as it could. It kinda manifested at 1:26 when you were at 198/200

• granted attacking excessively would slow down the fight too. If you don't need as much ARI (possibly with something i mention later), then maybe even stop attacking.

maybe you could've waited a tad to ult at 2:01 before doing the final sequence so you get outburst buffs on your ult while the boss crystal form ends. Can maybe do a midair basic plunge attack to fill in time
