Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

From a meta standpoint, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

the terms priority and efficiency indicates something important but you cannot really establish that on its own. It needs a reference point so to speak.
We do commonly default to meta for crystals gained that some may say this can go without saying, but it's not uncommon to encounter people who don't agree with those values for their own personal goals. Tbh it's something i've been increasingly wary of.

Not trying to say you're enforcing the latter btw.

But rather just trying to make clear why i personally would lean towards wording that is more goal orientated

hm actually i realized what is bothering me about just saying meta f2p too

i do think with enough time and experience, a meta f2p player that wants to stay in nirvana more may consider trading away primary coverage (in RL you might be able to get away with T2 coverages for a particular fight) in exchange for a higher vertical investment to retain or even get trophies in nirv better

whereas staying wide at s0 will more likely keep you in retain or demote ranges of nirvana

but also at that point i think the player is familiar enough with the game, when the faq is more targetted at unfamiliar players

This is also the case for Rite of Oblivion valkyries, but despite them being able to support any type of ring, they should only be used without the right ring attribute if you have no other options. For HoHe leader, filter your valks by the "Harmonized Shadow Star" Attribute to know who is actually viable.

another way to know the attributes for single valkyries is by tapping on their tags on this screen. This opens a menu including every valkyrie on the right that's related (Is from the related ring or also has the same tag.)

what server are you in? if it's global where competition is possibly more lax, you can prob get away with an LoA team if you want something lazy

• you may want to practice the beginning so you're not waiting and checking if something goes right or not. You're losing time that way. Or make it a habit to pause to check for confirmations
• i'm not sure if kiana elf is the best choice here when she doesn't offer as much ice buffs but i do understand outburst is a significant portion of the fight

hellmaru

• while technically you can farm evades off of the add's fireballs, i don't find it reliable at this point in the fight personally. You may more want to rely on hellmaru to give you an evade farmable attack (everything except for the paw swipe)
  • freezing hellmaru and pausing its actions will be detrimental to this so you would want to avoid the common ba3 > wa > hold wa string if that's a habit for you. granted i see you doing more other things here
  • you'll prob want to farm enough so that you can outburst as soon as sena's breach ends
• you may want to avoid ba3 in the air too much as thelema. there's one instance where thelema was too close to the ground after doing so and needed to wait to land before you can resume actions again, wasting time
• consider QTEing ely back at roughly 133 ARI? I vaguely recall this being the point where ely can fire off two enhanced weapons before SO comes up. However i'm not sure if this is ideal vs one enhanced weapon + unload the rest without enhanced
• when hellmaru is targeted, consider letting go of the wasd to lessen the odds of the target changing. Check your target setting too. You prob want free for that but try both ways (targeting is very jank). However there are times where even if you're neutral it will change and there's not much to do to prevent it.

there's prob more improvements to consider than just these but i'm not exactly too versed with this (i struggle in this weather too), and you'll want further perspectives or looking up past runs of this fight since not much has changed aside from the scaling possibly
