but you don't and we have to move to a different and lesser consideration

so you can see in that screenshot that coralie has the omniscient star tag. This tag only exists on valks with rite of oblivion ring types

so in this case you can see i'm using thelema leader with one support that has no astral ring compatibility

she can still benefit with ice specific buffs she provides but

at the bottom you can see the 2/3 for leader skill effect activations

if i add in coralie, because of that omni star tag, it can fulfill the condition despite not matching the leader ring type. These are just partial benefits

and you can look up the full details of the leader skill in the skills section of the valk

matching a tag to a ring type has other more major benefits that an RoO valk cannot provide so it's still not ideal, but something to use for now when you have nothing else

in the case of thelema and wheel of destiny, the main gimmick of her staying on field most of the time is that when you trigger the big blue outburst mode, your teammate swap buttons turn into one time use phantom buttons

and these phantom buttons will induce an effect called [rondo in the shadows] that will give you further benefits for a limited time. Shadow star tag supports will give a much longer duration than valks that don't have that tag.

in thelema's case she gets double meter per attacks she deals and can more rapidly do full meter attacks (i won't explain this too much. please check out the ingame tutorial in tactics class)

anyway for most newer ring types, having both supports with the tag is a big deal. But for wheel of destiny you can get away with only one tag valk. One long rondo and one short rondo is enough time to cover the full outburst duration

when they enter outburst, the first thing they did was consumed her meter, then they used the phantom attack

again it gives you more effects. mainly accelerating your meter gaining for most valks

looks like they started with the short phantom here and then the longer one after it ran out

but anyway the main point is that

• vbm while not having the shadow star tag, can give you partial benefits
• for wheel of destiny leader, it's not a major issue since you can still have full rondo effect for the outburst

if you craft the foundry ones that costs AE imags then don't ugprade it beyond 35/35. Only level it to 35. Upgrading makes it inefficient to trash and these are just for temp uses

vbm cora sig weapon is available from early p2 story. go get it there. search [faq cof] if you need help finding it

for stigs show what you have. theresa can take herrscher of truth T and B stigs with JST M if you have it
all newer astral ring stigs are craftable but this is a last resort because prisms are also hard to get alot of early on and are needed for later gacha valks

Free Stigmata Boxes

Hey, Captain!

In Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2, most new Valkyries will have a Stigma Option box given for free! But when should you use them?

If you are pulling for the corresponding weapon, you should open the box AFTER you have 2 different pieces of that stigmata set already. These stigma boxes are optimally used to finish a stigmata set. This also applies to Part 1 stigmata boxes, if you have any.

If you...

• Obtained the weapon before you got at least 2 stigmata set pieces, stop pulling! Open the box to get the best piece and then craft any missing stigmata (you can find these in Foundry).
• Already got the full stigmata set before the weapon (there are high chances that you did), keep the box as a collectible or open it, select a random stigma and salvage it for Source Prism.
• Are skipping or have skipped the corresponding weapon but want to get the Stigmata set, open the box first for the best piece then craft the other two via Foundry.
• Skipped the weapon and do not intend to craft the Stigmata set, you have no urgent reason to open the box, so keep it.

Regarding Bronya: N-EX, you can open the box once you own T or B and use it to finish TB. M is not BiS on SW.

(?) gives thel the adventage of getting 2 ari instead of 1 like other p2 valks on evade and the fact that you can basically spam evade thelema unlike other p2 valks makes her a huge deal even outside of hohe dps

hohe like i said, very heavily relies on SO-ing to actually dish out any damage at all so you having thel in the team spam evading and farming ari just makes the process much much faster (imma send you a link to this current abyss runs since they use lantern (dps) thel (support) hohe (support and helps with the boss mechanics)

Astral ring intensity is the 'Energy' that accumulates when Astral Ring is activated. At max intensity, the button can be pressed to enter Stellar Outburst.

There are a multitude of ways to regen and speed up the gain of ARI.
To gain Astral ring intensity captains can:

• 1 per 0.5 seconds you are in combat (Basic AstralOp skill)
• Consume stellar drain
• 1 per ultimate evasion performed
• triggering qte in [LoA](#👶beginner-help message) with the non leader valk (cd:16s)

so see how thel helped the team get to 86 ari (both eva + stellar drain), thats why she’s so important in an SO hungry team like hohe (lantern too btw since the bulk of her dps comes from SO-ing like hohe too)
note that her ari farming efficiency is greatly reduced without weapon (2 ari on evade) so is her dps btw
(just to give you a rough estimate, thel loses about 60% of her damage without weapon and things that you see like ATF after ult (absolute time fracture, basically time stop btw, the normal time fracture is just slowing time down not stopping it) and extra dmg after ult is locked to her weapon and ofc the 2 ari on evade n other stuffs

Every valk starts with 1 Stellar drain at the start of the battle( that's also the max you can't have more per valk) now when you trigger certain attacks in a valks kit you'll consume said stellar drain to regenerate ARI, that's normally 20 ARI. You regain Stellar drain once you exit SO which then means your valks can regen ARI again through certain attacks again. Since we're heavily focusing on WoD right now i'd want to explain how that ring types handles Stellar drain since it works a bit different from other ring types, normally the Stellar drain stacks are counted seperatly so let's you Valk 1 Consumes their stellar drain and then does the same attack again valk 2 and 3 can still consume their own stellar drain. In WoD the team shares their stellar drain stacks though, so let's say HoHe consumes all 3 stellar drains, after that no one else can consume stellar drain until you've exited Stellar outburst and regained those 3 stacks

how are you trying to do this? Keep in mind each phantoms can only be used once per outburst. Be sure to start a new outburst if you want to see it again. The Ai Chan button in the tutorial lets you restore outburst quickly

if you're trying to do this in some other hohe tutorial then keep in mind outburst and some of those animations are exclusive only to her gacha dkey and won't be available in the more regular tutorials with non astral ring teams

i don't think thelema will be a sole indicator of that. It's more going to depend on what else you have for other areas that the next valk will cover while thelema does not such as ||GoI ring type||. Ultimately every valk will have tailored matchups that won't be negotiable at a nirvana level and would more depend on a red lotus level (e.g. people running trio or fdd this fire weather cycle instead of lantern)

and even if you have to take a loss on such specific weathers, it's possibly fine as long as you have enough other coverage to win it back on other weathers

perhaps the most alarming aspect i would be wary of is the ||SD typing, since multiple SD valks often are used in a single team for different SD gimmicks, but even still there has been historical cases where sena does enough to retain in RL for FWS weathers and vice versa.||

ultimately not all details are out so there's a limit to how much i can predict and recommend
