S Teri and Dreamseeker are my only other ops. Why are you evading away from Sushang when doing the 2nd basic cancel in your ref - wouldn't evading towards them take less animation so less time? How many basic attacks or evades do you do during the transistion? What indicator are you going off of when using the hold basic at the end of SO?
I assumed the ref is using Coralie's basic attack string to get ready the enhanced wep while getting rid of the Sushang swords, what else is happening there?

some synergies can be very significant in specific strats (in the older days the extra sp thelema or lantern can get can enable faster MA strats as an example)

but i personally am too out of touch nowadys and don't really know of any such thresholds/cases

these benefits are relatively short term overall

meanwhile the +10 atk from a dkey is permanent and adds up over time with others. Some dkeys are notorious in their availability too

Sprout also has some ice resistance so that's why the boss probably feels extra tanky for you
