so ive been going back and forth with support to try and solve my "it freezes when i close the game issue due to hypass.dl not working correctly" long story short they told me to send a crash file via task manager. for some reason it didn't work and now they said i should do a video. I recorded a mkv in obs but it's not a supported type. any idea what is a supported type of file to send in?

to send videos to CS you have to upload them on some site, if you are using youtube they don't support that format so you have to record on a supported format like mp4 (you can find all the formats on their help center) or convert your video with a program like handbrake or avidemux

if you havent already, try restarting your pc but if that doesnt help then double check your currently open applications in the task manager and try closing any overlays or background anticheat software for other games that may be running

From my research, The Finals just uses Easy Anti-Cheat

which shouldn't really get in the way for honkai

If it's the whole thing immediately. You might need to make sure windows is up to date and the maybe reinstall hoyoplay

No that immediately, when i start downloding the game, inside the game, not in the launcher. When the trailer ends and u see the wallperper of the new character, the game starts downloading for like 10-15 min and then it freeze everything.

It's not the launcher, i dont have any problem with it, is alredy inside the game.

My graphy card is a 1650, is nothing of other world but i been playing without any problem for 4 years, now I can keep up with the game?

I'd recommend rolling your driver back a version or two. Sometimes brand new driver updates cause freezing issues

rarely do driver issues like the ones i described affect every game. every game codes their graphics processes differentlly after all

and if so, you have restore points for that (which drivers set themselves but best to make them yourself every once in a while)

drivers should work for both, but if it's a laptop you have another option to rollback to your manufacturer's OEM driver

thats a lot of event leftover data (which mostly gets deleted, but not all, and you probably have a few patches corrupted installs there too)

Hi I am back, sorry @stoic reef but it didnt work, I try reintalling the game, and put the old drivers on. But now with the old divers, it even crashes before.

Looks like its not the driver fault, its the game. Maybe the wallpaper of the new character while downolding is to much for my pc.

Afaik thar error can show for a couple of issues, like your RAM config or sticks are having some stability issues, some programs is interfering with the game causing the process to run slower/the game is running too fast and the anticheat is getting trigger or in some rare cases is just the anticheat having issues comparing the date of your device with the one online

Everytime I try to update the game I pull up the task manager and put away anything that can cause problems so, I just dont know what to do anymore. I try drivers, nothing, reintaling the game again, nothing.

If they take a bit, you can always periodically try again or use a VPN to see if that'll work, i do know one of the things that can trip it is too many logins detected from your network (like ISP and stuff) and not just your specific device. but that is just one of many things

restarting your device can help if you havent done that already, but for a lot of poeple it is just kinda stuck but a lot of people reported that if you let it sit for 10-30 minutes it will eventually go through and then shouldnt do it again. but if none of that works then yeah reinstalling should fix it too

technically ram is just temporary storage. RAM stands for random access memory. its just high speed temporary used by programs instead of more permanent storage (your hard drive/hard disk)

dishes dont go out until the people are seated iirc, i think the issue is that their waiting room only has the one spot and no ones getting seated because the come in popup that you get before a manager position is available isnt showing 🤔

with no manager, customers do not automatically come in, you have to tap on their little mood bubble and say "come in"

if they dont do that then the cusomters dont come in and no food gets cooked

if you dont tap the mood bubble and tap come in, then the customers dont come in and no dishes get cooked or sold. later on in the event you can hire a manager that does that automatically for you

game on lowest settings at below 720p, runs fine 120fps at any setting level however, yet freezes a lot and can crash when changing scenes

its just annoying when my 1-2 minute stage clear then takes 3-4 minutes due to freezing

the main thing that i can see that might cause an issue is your graphic drivers are out of date so you could try updating those.

but it could also be a game files issue so you can also try running the repair in the hoyoplay launcher as well as the repair in the lower left corner of the login screen (just check assets there)

if none of that helps then reinstalling should fix it but those are the two main things that i can see that might cause crashing at stuff like that

(your GPU drivers arent a ton out of date, but they are around 6 months old which normally doenst cause issues, but its still possible. never a bad idea to keep them up to date anyways

the things we know that can cause the issue is a corruted HYPass file and some overlay/background program having issues with the game

for most users is just a corrupted install of that file i mention before, so a reinstall should fix the game for you

to be honest im not 100% sure. its specs are right around the minimum needed to run the game for its ram, chipset and GPU when part 2 came out last year. Im not sure how much/if the games requirements have increased since then.

if you are on mobile, the more time the device is on, more apps could start autorunning and start using more resources in the backgroud compared with a clean boot, like for example some social apps will check new post,msg,etc.
but that is not the only thing that can "lag" the device, there is thermal throttling so the device SoC doesn't get damage, some app/the system could be having a memory leak, the specs of the device,etc.

That is an option most manufacturers don't offer on their system, + like I said before is not the only thing that can cause problems, depending on the device you don't even need to disable apps because they will actively manage the memory usage

no, what the recover account is is only for recovering old MihoYo accounts, not hoyoverse accounts.

since hi3 started out with the mihoyo login account system, when they transitioned to using hoyoverse they added that button to bind your old mihoyo account to a hoyoverse account basically.

so the "doesnt exist" just means that you didnt use that email address as a mihoyo account login (assuming you were playing hi3 since before 2022)

so to link a third party login, you go to account.hoyoverse.com and log in with your hoyoverse account, then once you are logged in you click on link account on the left side and thats where you go to link one.
but i will say using a 3rd party login doesnt always work, the error is a security measure on the games side of things so whether or not using a different login method works, please report your issue to customer support because at the end, this is something they have to take a look at to fix for good.

if you're getting an error while linking the only thing i know that can help is to use an inprivate or incognito web browser window if you're on pc, if on mobile then make sure you are signed into the app of the account you're trying to link if it has one but if it still keeps giving an error message then please include that to your report to customer support too

Wrong password is exactly that, for other issues there are other error msg.
And the timeout is normal, is a security measure that is enabled after you attempt to login too many times with the wrong info on a small amount of time

Remember if by any change you change your password before (that include in other HYV games)
If you are using AutoFill, check that the app is not adding additional characters at the end (like a blank space)
If you don't remember the password completely, use the "forgot password" option and create a new one

if you dont see the resolution on the settings, you can use the unity graphics setting (hold shift while you start the game on the launcher) or select a window resolution and restart the game, after that you should find the correct fullscreen options ingame

i tried the hold shift thing, and it let me set it to 4k but after loading into the game, it only stayed in 4k for the first loadscreen with the black background white text, then when the hoyoverse logo came up it went back to pixelated 1080p. after logining into the bridge, and checking the graphics setting, the game is auto set to 1080p fullscreen which is the highest selectable resolution

usually just restarting fixes this, if you've tried that and still nothing then try repairing the game by pressing the red repair icon in the lower left of the login screen and check your assets

in device manager can you click on view > show hidden items and then look in network adapters to see if you see a greyed out wifi? if you do see it can you double click on it and see what the error code is in the properties window?

it was a guess, mediatek mt7921 seems to be designed as a laptop network adapter, so while its possible to be in a desktop. I just assumed it was a laptop and figured you'd correct me if i was wrong

oh i see, sorry about that
its a bad habit from my tech support job, im used to educated guessing quite a lot of info about the computer so i dont ask 20 questions and stuff

but a couple of things you can try real quick to see if it helps

• in the device manager open up the wifi adapter properties and go to the power management tab and uncheck the box saying allow the computer to turn off the device to save power.
• then go to the manufacturers website for your computer and see if you can find the wireless drivers specific to your model and install those and restart.

if those two dont work, then theres less easy things to try but hopefully one or both of those fixes it

but that link from microsoft forums has a lot of things to try that I agree with, some of them arent easy things to do but they all should in theory be a possible solution

thats new, looking at the link you shared, it would work but it also looks pretty risky, especially if the computer is made after 2019 apparently so i'd say you can skip the power management thing for now and see if the other stuff works

(new as in i didnt know that it was possible to remove the power management option)
