unfortunately there isnt a way to convert the different clients so yeah you'll have to redownload the game. you could use one of the custom launchers, they download much better than the official one so it might be able to just do it all on its own

and the better launcher lets you pick the server to use right from here so you know you arent making a mistake

i personally like the betterhi3launcher since its more simple and doesnt need installing, just download and run the .exe file, but the collapse launcher can manage all of the hoyoverse games in one launcher (but i dont play the others so i dont really care about that). but both will download hi3 just as well so it boils down to preference

no its not possible, the only time it "can" happen is if you cannot access your hoyoverse account cuz it was lost/stolen or something and they can do account recovery process. but unbinding is not a service customer support does

yes, you would just need to create a new apple ID with its region set to a SEA one and login to the Mac app store using it

once you’ve done that, you can download the sea client and revert back to using your main apple id in the mac app store if you’d like

could be a lot of things i guess. but first you can try restarting your device (im assuming pc) and once it powers back on just open the game and see if that fixes it. if not then try playing without the controller and see if it randomly switches characters. If it does then its the games fault and you can try repairing it in the launcher or reinstalling and if it does not randomly switch then the issue is indeed with the controller and you can try another controller if you have it or if you dont then i guess you could try reinstalling the controller drivers if it has them or connecting it via USB cable if its bluetooth

if one VPN didnt work then try the other one, for some people protonVPN didnt work but WARP did. but if the error code is 10030 then thats guaranteed a connection issue so try the VPN's, use a different network and/or restart your router but try all three of those before giving up on it

hmm well that eliminates being able to ask customer support then for help. without your UID they cant find your account. if you have a friend in game that you can contact they can look up your UID i guess but otherwise you'll simply have to remember your account info. though if the error message specifically is saying wrong password or account doesnt exist then it could be an auto fill issue, try typing both the email and password manually, dont use auto fill cuz it can sometimes add a blank space at the end which causes it to not be found. but you'll just have to try all the stuff you can think of and manually type it that you might have had access to when you last played a few months ago.

if you can find your UID though then you can just email customer support #how-to-contact-cs and they can look it up and tell you what the login is

mhmm, if you log into hoyolab and go to the honkai battle chronicles it will show any honkai account thats connected to that hoyovesre account, even multiple if you have alts on other servers.

well considering you have to use a hoyoverse to log into hoyolab if you find the hoyoverse account its on, then just use that same hoyoverse account to log into the game with the same email and password you used to log into hoyolab

but it'll only show the honkai account(s) linked to that hoyoverse so if you go to the honkai battle chronicles and dont see it then log out and try a different hoyoverse account if you have several

well that is normal, most of the characters use just the texture to make the clothes look "complex" so they can add more poligons on other stuff on the clothes
but if you use low quality settings like looks on that screenshot, you will lose many of the settings that made the models looks better, the only option is to use higher graphics settings but at the cost of performance

is just like the old system, you have the option to use the google/apple account (and other 3rd party) to create an account, but at the end you will be creating a HYV account
it was like that even when the system released with genshin

if you have then try turning off memory integrity in the core isolation settings and try again (click on start > type "core isolation" to get to the core isolation settings)

if that doesnt help then make sure you dont have any aggressive process monitors like processmon or anything like that running, and maybe try setting bh3.exe from the games installation directory as an exception in your antivirus settings

and if your windows is doing something weird like being in test mode then turn that off

and if none of that helps, then contact CS and send them a screenshot of the error message, they should be able to know whats causing it from the error code number #how-to-contact-cs

Setting Ulimate button to Y instead of RB (like it was before part 2 came out) on my XBOX controller makes me unable to switch forms on PE, and tapping only works when Ultimate CD is 0, but has the same effect as holding Ultimate, and makes PE only get on the horse temporarily to perform the ram that deals 2000% ATK worth of damage, then promptly goes back to on foot. Holding Ultimate doesn't do anything.

possibly, i am very tired so its also very possible that i mis remembered or didnt press the y button long enough, but i also couldnt reproduce it again after that even after restarting my pc entirely so im not so sure

i just know that i set it how you said yours is set to (i think) tested it and think it behaved the same as you described. reset it to default and did it again and it worked fine. then tried restarting my pc and it was still fine, reset it to default and restarted my pc again and then set it to how you set it to from the default and it still worked as intended so either the bug happened only once, or i did a mistake somewhere in the beginning

tried also setting the jump and ult buttons to something totally random and they also worked fine with other button settings so basically no matter what i tried i couldnt reproduce the bug after it was working

yup the whole folder, it just contains your saved login and settings info so you're not deleting any game files but that (plus the other folder in the later steps) should clear out whatevers bugged in the cache and while you will have to log in it should stay that way and let you in the game unless your issue is a connection issue which can sometimes cause it. but you will need to redo any changes you made to the settings like keybindings and graphics settings and so on

it kinda depends on what is available for your carriers and budget and stuff, but as a general rule of thumb phones with a snapdragon 8 gen 1 or gen 2 chipset have good GPU's to go with them and will run the game decently for the foreseeable future. but they will be around 700 USD on average. a good cheap one on that range is for example a red magic 9.

but you can look at the recommended phone specs in the pins here and google "best phones with dimensity 8000 chip" for instance

though to double check, the redmi note 12 turbo is a chinese phone not really meant for global markets, looking into it more apparently theres 4 general disadvatages with using this:

1.4G and 5G Band signal will not always work in some countries
2.Phone must be unlocked to install Global device
3.there is a high chance that they will get a Fake Global OS by china seller , make it unable to unlock the bootloader
4.Google Pay / Banking apps will not work because Phone is Unlocked

apparently the global version is Pocophone F5 (Redmi Note 12 Turbo for Global market) so if you can find that then that would be much better for most likely the same price. if you cant then between the two other devices you mentioned the s21 is probably better in general, my s21+ runs the game fine on mid

so i finished reinstalling the game and it didnt prompt me to pick a language when opening it. it defaulted the text to english (due to device settings being english) and the voice over was jp. were you talking about changing the voiceover to like CN in the settings affects the CG's as well? cuz yes thats true but it didnt prompt me ever to pick a language

If none of that stuff to find your uid or auto log you in worked then there's nothing that can be done other than trying different random logins in the hoyolab and see if you can find your account in the battle Chronicles there. But there's not much we can do if you've forgotten your login info and didn't write down your uid or anything like that. I hope you find it but there's not much we can help with if your can't remember the login. I think your best hope is to try to find your uid either through some old screenshots or friends in the game that can look up your uid in their friends profile.

I guess one thing is if sometime in the last 10 months or so since you last played if you've had to contact customer support for an account recovery or account hacked problem for a different game on the same hoyoverse that would be a hint but other than that I've already given you an the tricks and advice we have to help you remember or find your old account. Might need to try starting over tbh, leveling up is much faster than it used to be it takes new players ab average if just 2-4 weeks to hit level 80 in this game now on a new account with the starter manual

unfortunately you cant, they're at a fixed resolution, it gets better later on in the game but if you want to try, you can try the CN VO cg's in the pins, they're a bit higher quality but otherwise they'll get higher quality over time
