yeah, the 13 fps was from the outside mall area whenever i looked at the outside window

the moment i turn back its 30-40
i had to turn down the res from 1080p all the way to 720p while keeping everything at low or disabled

2k will eat your vram up so fast tbh compared to 1080p, but yeah its your vram capping out thats causing the lag, a combo of resolution and graphic settings

its ok, things have mostly been getting fixed. as a quick rundown on discovered things. if the game is not launching from the launcher if they have been using collapse then have them update to the latest version and run the repair tool #🔌technical-help message

if not then weirdly enough just have them spam open bh3.exe and it'll work (i hate that the fix is "just open the hell out of it bro trust me") but i need a more permanent solution from customer support. which someone will hopefully tell me once they get the solution

oh and if they're stuck at the black mihoyo screen restarting/repair several times also fixes that so another just keep trying it till it works

oh and if someone is wondering why their game looks weird and the open world map is showing like no floors/invisible floors, its almost always been an under spec device

well im suspecting a launcher issue since the error message isnt anything about a corrupt file, its just failing to unzip which could be because of a corrupt file, it could also just be a launcher issue too

but the custom launchers help with both of those issues greatly so one fix for two possible issues

unzipper failing could mean few things from what i've been observing

1. Corrupted zip (which this case probably not because the launcher didn't complain about it)
2. Antivirus locking up files for no reason (you could try temporarily disabling it then try again)
3. Corrupted or heavily modified Windows installation (eg, Tiny11, AtlasOS, etc. This can be caused by the system files required by the extractor [7z] binaries to be missing some part of it, causing the extraction to fail)
4. Corrupted launcher binaries (unlikely usually)
5. Error on the drive (chkdsk is your friend)

integrated graphics are a bit tricky to update not manually, most laptop manufacturers make their own bundled version of intel drivers and other than getting the drivers from intel directly theres not much in the way of software that will update it automatically. They dont care too hard though since most gaming laptops that need up to date drivers have a discrete nvidia gpu that can use the nvidia software to auto update like normal

thats recommended specs, not exact install size, mine is the exact install size within .5 GB right now. official spec releases have to compensate for events increasing the size, future updates, also need to compensate for the fact that you need double the size to install the update (16GB download, then needs to reserve 16GB to unzip the update to) stuff like that

i dont think i've ever seen an official recommended spec list be exact with the install sizes, they always say more. i think another reason is that peoples windows starts crapping itself if you get to no free space so if they said 30, and someone had 30.1 free GB and is like i can play honkai and then their windows craps out thats no good

so like low would be 50% for instance and max would be like 400%. i dont recommend max though its a crazy gpu hog if you set it to that unless they changed it this patch from its previous bunch of years

Yeah that is correct, those "chapters" were limited time ones so you can only get the emblem on the limited time,
Then for v2.3 (iirc for glb) where they introduced chronicles so you can replay them, but only reintroduce the "basic" rewards

best i can figure is its a character "highlight" to make them more visible when standing in the sunlight against shadowy flat edge surfaces (like walls and stais) and its for everyone, just not the playable character but i think its just a highlight to make them more visible

to me looks more like a broken ssao, because you can lower the effect by lowering the shadow quality and you only see it where you see more "darker" areas i remember in the mall i saw a place where you can had the system working on one side of the wall with a "soft shadow", and in the other more darker having that "glow" where the character is getting direct light
but i could be fully wrong, im not 100% sure that is using ssao for some shadows

though with other games that have the same issue where you can disable ssao entirely (through either settings or mods) it doesnt get rid of it so im not sure, either way i do know theres no way to get rid of it either with the current settings

yeah the only way right now in the game is to turn off the shadows completly, on use mid that is like a border so that could be something enough for some captains.
but yeah i just think that is that because on "sunset" you see a orange glow on the shadow areas so that is why is making me that that, because ao try to generate like a small "bounce" of the light/shadow...
and i was thing that i could be wrong and the game is using ssgi instead

but yeah, we cant do anything the only solution is to bring the info to CS so that the Dev get to take a look

okay look (shadow high), from the left to right, first one glow except on the topleft side of sena where the bg is "farest"
next only bottom half have the glow on the shadows that is "closest", and las one, once y move to the shadow, it start to generate a "shadow" the close at the floor is the character silhouette
so that is what is making me thing is a ss effect working incorrectly or having issues detecting the depth

but yeah that is what i found, y just use mid settings in my config because on some times of the "day" ingame become annoying (+ i get some fps back )
