what do I do if I can't retrieve my account because I logged into my hoyoverse account on pc and it created a new account because I hadn't linked it from game centre yet and now I can't play on either pc or ios?

hmm then account retrieval wont help you, thats only for linking old mihoyo accounts to hoyoverse accounts but the only way to log into the game as of july 2022 was hoyoverse so if you played at all since then then your honkai is already on a hoyoverse account if that makes sense

so heres your issue, you're either logging into the wrong server or the wrong account on pc.

first double check that you're on teh right server (i think it should be europe so make sure its not set to americas) and if its still the wrong account when you login then you're simply on the wrong hoyoverse account. you can check the battle chronicles on hoyolab with different hoyoverse accounts without risking making a bunch of tutorial accounts looking around.

once you find your accounts its just as simple as logging in on the same account on mobile. but if you cant find it at all then i'd recommend emailing customer support since they can help with account recovery issues like this #how-to-contact-cs

I tried both regions and I've never had another hoyo account, on mobile I've always used autologin with gamecenter. What would the procedure be if it has actually been the extra 5 months?

I do get an account confirmation for retrival when I attempt it

you mean if you hadnt linked it to a hoyoverse account? you just do account retreival but at the second part where it asks you to log into a hoyoverse account you just simply use a new hoyoverse account, hoyoverse accounts can only have one honkai account on it per server so since you already made one on there you'd have to make a new hoyoverse and use that one

go here and scroll to the bottom and open the "remove an installed windows update" and if that process doesnt improve anything try the "restore from a system restore point" part

hey can you do one more thing for me if you dont mind, can you restart your computer, then go to your honkai's installation folder and go to the games folder and try to run bh3.exe and when it doesnt do anything go into your windows event viewer (click on start and type event and open the event viewer. once its open go to here and find the bh3.exe one if its there and send a screenshot of the general window so i can see what the windows error code is

One last thing that I can think of if you want to keep trying, you can do core windows clean installation , by downloading the WIndows Media creation tools and run the setup.exe in the iso files.

No file will be deleted and it'll reinstall Windows. If that sounds too complicated you can use this guide to reset windows which will keep everything in your documents folder and stuff but you'll have to reinstall everything. You don't have to do this is you'd rather wait on customer support but just giving you options

yep tried. and i was running other games at the same time so values were high at the time. its not a cpu prob. closed them and tried to run but to no avail

i can guarantee you its actually not the game itself being the issue so waiting for hoyoverse to fix it with a patch isnt going to do anything. When you looked in your windows event viewer yesterday and didnt see any logs for bh3.exe? that means your windows isnt even attempting to open the game basically so thats why i think resetting/reinstalling your windows is the only thing you havent tried yet that i can think of that might help

because upgrading to windows 11 doesnt replace any of the stuff from windows 10 that didnt need replacing so thats not as "clean" as a fresh reinstall

depends mostly on hard drive speed but usually never more than an hour or two. and all the stuff on a different hard drive or your documents/pictures/etc folders will be safe but you'll have to re-install all your applications. but theres an option for keeping your files in the reset windows thing in system recovery settings

if you dont have a genshin for instance then you can create a new genshin account on the same hoyoverse account that your honkai uses but you cant move games from one hoyoverse account to a different hoyoverse and its also not possible to merge two hoyoverse accounts like i said either so if both are on different hoyoverse accounts then its honestly not possible. the best you can do is change the linked email used to log in but you cant have the same email for 2 different hoyoverse accounts either so you'd have to have a different login for both of the accounts.

to answer your other question the only way would be to make a new honkai or a new genshin account. all you have to do to do that is just log into the game that you want to start over with the hoyoverse you want to use for both

What i'd recommend is that you email customer support with your UID and explain that you linked your honkai account some time ago and forgot what hoyoverse you linked it to and they'll be able to help #how-to-contact-cs

error code 10030 is a connection issue, try the stuff in the 2nd pin to fix it

please note that if you have to use a VPN to get it to work, you typically dont have to do that for more than a few days to a few weeks until your ISP fixes their issue and it goes back to normal

unless its a new account still in the first mission then no unfortunately it cant be unlinked from its hoyoverse account, theres no function for it on your end (its to protect against account theft) and customer supports policy is they wont unlink an account that is not new or if you can access it since they cant "unlink" it either all they can do is delete the hoyoverse account its on and clone it over to a new hoyoverse account so thats only reserved for if your hoyoverse was hacked or if its a new enough account they can delete it because it doesnt have any currency or pulls on it, etc

tbh the game cant transfer to SD card, its not built into the game as an option so its not possible and honestly even if it was possible SD cards read/write speed would mean close to 10 minute loading times to go into a stage

sort of, the way the game plays and all the other high graphic 3d action mobile games like that none of them can be mostly on SD cards due to the read/write times thing i mentioned causing 10+ minute loading times so they never bothered to spend time making it possible if that makes sense

Just make sure when you open it and connect it that you dont connect to Japan, connect to USA for best results

hmm, mobile makes it hard to just know whats causing it since theres no crash dump or anything like on pc but heres a list of things that you can try:

1. Checking for any system updates and applying those if any are there.
2. shutting down your phone all teh way off and waiting about 3 minutes before turning it back on.
3. turn off battery saver mode if you have it on.
4. if you have the graphics maxed out then try turning some of those down a bit.
5. clearing your cache by going to settings > apps > honkai impact 3 > clear cache (NOT data or you'll have to reinstall game)

if all that fails then reinstall game as at that point its a bad installation

theres no way to delete some files otherwise the game will auto redownload them, what you'll have to do is reinstall the game and when you first go into it it'll prompt you for basic or full asset download, if you pick the basic option what that does is not download all the CG's, audio, stage maps etc which saves about 10GB and when you go into a stage if you're missing something that it needs it will prompt you to download that part so over time it'll creep closer to the full size but it'll start out saving 10GB

you mean the form to prove that you're the original genuine account owner? tbh thats the only way to get your account back but you can try customer support again and try to fill out the info more accurately, some people in here tried like 4+ times before they finally got enough info right to get it approved. though keep in mind that if you got the account from like a friend or so, you'll have to contact them to find out most of the info on that form like the device used to create the account

you would have had to have written it down or if you made your honkai account before 2022 it might show up in the first half of account retrieval at the honkai login screen if it still exists in the old mihoyo account system, only other way to get your honkai UID is to contact an in game friend outside of the game and they can lookup your UID but they still have to be friends with you in the game

but without your UID customer support cant help since they'd have no way to know which of the many accounts is yours

for iOS it uses your appleID's account address settings for the app store region and i very highly recommend creating a new appleID account with the address set somewhere in the europe or americas and just switch to that appleID when downloading/updating the game so you arent having to change your only accounts address every month or so which sets off some red flags on apples side

the launcher log probably wont help in this case but if you want you can post the file here and I can look at the output_log, also make sure your windows is up to date. those dxdiag screenshots dont really apply to your issue.

but one thing that has helped a few people is first go in the task manager and end the process on bh3.exe then to go to the bh3.exe file and right click it and click properties, then go to the compatability tab and run the compatability troubleshooter and then try to open bh3.exe and if that doesnt do anything again then go into task manager and end the honaki process and go back to bh3.exe and go to compatability and try to set it to windows 8 compatability mode

if none of that works then contact customer support #how-to-contact-cs and see if they have a solution but dont reinstall the game otherwise you'll lose your logged in status and the next time you try to log in it'll prompt you for a verification email which you cant do so you'll be locked out of your account

honestly all the stealer has to do is remove your device as a trusted device and it'll lock you out of your account, you really should try again with customer support to get it back

If you didn't get that account from someone else then especially because you can log into the game you should be able to answer all the questions on the account recovery form customer support sends you

Is anyone having problem with the camera in the game? when I played and move around, the game camera will always spin around like crazily, even if I stopped moving my character the camera angle keep on spinning and I have to tab out of the game (to another program or to my pc screen) and then tab again to get back to the game, only then will the camera stop spinning?

cg's do have their own seperate audio setting which affects those, just the cg setting. other video guides would use your master volume setting like the preview trailer. i recommend setting the master volume lower and leave everything set to 100% and you can more easily control the game volume by the device volume but you wont get max blasting audio

2. Press Windows + R, input regedit.
3. In the opened window, please locate \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\miHoYo\Honkai Impact 3 and delete it.
4. Press Windows + R, and input %userprofile%\Appdata\LocalLow\miHoYo\ in the opened window. Delete all the files in the Honkai Impact 3/3rd folder.
5. Restart your PC.

Do note that doing this will require you to login again. Linking account is highly recommended.

basically your pc has the bare minimum of vram needed to even display characters so its being a little buggy

let me check if your graphics drivers have any more recent updates which might improve performance

mhmm that error means that you've already linked your honkai account to a hoyoverse account so the account retreival button wont do anything for you anymore since its only purpose is to link honkai accounts to hoyoverse accounts if the honkai account is not linked to anything. if you think you might have more than one hoyoverse account then you can check the battle chronicles in hoyolab.com to see if you can find your honkai account (dont try logging into the game itself since that can cause more trouble down the road)

but if you dont find it or dont wanna look in hoyolab then just tell customer support your UID, give them a screenshot of that error and say you've forgotten what you linked your honkai account to and they'll help

I succefully unlinked the new account but they said that my other account is linked to a temp email for some reason, so after that i didnt know what to do and i gave up

i see, it would be easiest for you then to just dont worry about the new account, just tell customer support about the old one and if they get it unlinked for you, just make a new hoyoverse account entirely to link the old one to

you cant make a new mihoyo account, those are the old account system, you'd have to make a new hoyoverse account, i know its just words but using the old account system name when you're talking about hoyoverse accounts can lead to a lot of confusion in teh future.

if the hoyoverse you want to link your old account to does not have a honkai account on it then yes you can link it to your current one. but if your current hoyoverse account already has a honkai account on it then they cannot link your old one to it since it already has a honkai account bound to it

i assumed your hoyoverse account still has the new honkai account you mentioned on it. if it does not and does not have any honkai accounts on it then no you dont need to worry about making a new hoyoverse account
