well yeah the launcher downloads the core components of the game and then theres a seperate download afterwards in the game for all the music, cg's etc
I bet it's gonna crasg and show an error again and tell me to download again

hmm, if you want you could try getting teh betterhi3launcher from the 1st pin and run that, once its detected your game and says launch you could try clicking the 3 lines next to launch and downloading cache to download that without having the game open

tbh better launcher doesnt need to be installed. its just an .exe file you run
no it should detect your current game installation if its installed in the default location and just say launch so you wont have to download the launcher part again. it'll just say launch but you can go to download cache to download the in game download (the one that keeps crashing your computer) outside of the game
that should at least let you into the game, but if your computer is crashing just from installing it i dont have a lot of confidence that it wont crash while playing but i guess thats something you'll have to try and find out
gotcha, then yeah try the better launcher, do both download cache and repair game files actually, that should hopefully download everything outside of the game
so when you go into the game it'll just go right to the login after verifying game files

if its not installed in the default location theres an option to select where the game is installed yourself. you just go to the games folder and set it to that. but if your computer wont run a .exe file then i dont think the better launcher will help because your windows itself is having some serious issues
but by that logic, you shouldnt be able to run the official launcher either, can you run .exe files if they are on your D: ?

not yet. but honestly your windows issue is whats causing all this, maybe try running windows in safe mode with command prompt and run sfc /scannow
that should try to repair your windows installation

hello i think i found out how to fix this thing.
i change my display resolution to 1600 x 900 or below and change it back to 1920 x 1080 and this issue is gone. but not really sure that's how to fix it or maybe because i updated my driver yesterday? but yesterday i checked ER after updating my driver the issue is still there.

does anti aliasing not work on rendering accuracy set on high?
i see no difference with it turned off or on but when rendering accuracy is set on very high the difference is very clear
as rendering accuracy is really the render resolution (with very low being 1.0x), it might just be because the higher the rendering accuracy is, the more difference you see(?)

but anti aliasing should work regardless what render accuracy you have
just a fyi tho: anti aliasing sometimes doesnāt work on models during story dialogue
i was testing it on the lobby character
although i kinda guessed that tbh cause sometimes in elysium everlasting models just looked like anti aliasing wasn't being applied

thats good then, it'll be much easier that way
so you downloaded the global version, not the SEA version. the google play store auto shows which version of the game based on your google account settings aka your physical location. to download the SEA client on your android first uninstall the honkai impact you do have and then download and run the official APK for the SEA server here https://api-os-takumi.mihoyo.com/event/download_porter/link/bh3_os/seaapk/default
that will install the sea version of the game and you'll be able to play on the sea server. please note though that you'll have to manually update every version update since your not physically located in the google play store's sea region, just come in here and get the sea APK from the first pin and it'll update your game once you run it

infinite elevator is a connection issue, while your internet is fine its your connection to the honkai servers specifically that is having an issue. please try all the stuff in the 2nd pin for fixes. if none of them help then report it to customer support #how-to-contact-cs but the stuff in the 2nd pin works 99% of the time

only way is to reinstall and the game and pick the basic installation instead of the full one. if you deleted the files thmselves the game will just redownload them automatically

so i keep the cg downloads but i uninstall the game itself?
so what happens is when you unisntall the game and reinstall it, it will ask you the first time you open it if you want to install the basic assets option or the full assets option, if you pick the basic ones it will not download all the cg's, audio, etc. and it will prompt you to download missing resources if you are about to go into a stage that needs them. thats the only way to "delete" the cg's

hmm, its still most likely your graphics driver, or at least thats what the BSOD error code says. please try downloading DDU to do a clean uninstall of your graphics drivers (windows a lot of times leaves behind a lot of junk when updating graphics drivers) and then install the latest drivers that came out about a week after the ones currently installed on your computer, geforce experience should be downloading those after you use DDU to do a clean uninstall. the latest drivers should be 546.01

skins shouldn't have that much of a performance hit - you can try switching skins anyway as it has a harmless effect

ER tends to have a lot more graphics effects than other stages, maybe your graphics drivers need to be updated?
The drivers are up to date, but I think the effects are causing issues with the amount of attacks she does? I'm literally only having issues with her character. I just did a run through with HOT and Susannah. No issues with them. I dunno. If I have to "give up" and continue again no biggie.

easiest way would be if you just remembered the packaging, but its ok most are usb 3.0 these days so unless its an old drive its probably 3.0
hmm, try running the launcher as admin, if that doesnt work you can always manually download the pc client (without launcher) from the first pin and unzipping it to a folder in your usb drive and then running bh3.exe
you'd have to download the manual update and manually unzip it every version update but at least it would be "installed"

also keep in mind that some USB drive manufacturers may scam you - they may program the drive to report to the computer that it has more space than it actually does have
make sure your USB drive comes from a reputable brand 
okay so i submitted a hoyoverse application form for an account that the email got deleted that you use to log in with. i have some proofs of purchase from a month but not all of them. will that be enough to get it back? i also am not sure where the actual hoyoverse account for registered but like i know the device it was last logged into, valks it has, location where it was logged onto honkai impact 3rd, etc. will that be enough to get it back?
its hard to say, purchase proofs are good evidence but arent the only thing they look at. if everything is accurate then they'll accept it but you'll have to wait and see because theres no way for us to know if the answers you're putting are accurate, if they are though then you'll get it bakc

Also please change the password to your email address and log out all devices from your account center if you use Gmail
so I re installed the game, and after downloading the files in launcher and launching I can go to downloading assets just fine but, it crashes shortly, i reinstalled the game, restarted my pc, running as administrator, it still crashes, even tho it's working normally before I reinstalled it

This is still actually a good APU if you were to ask me iirc mine was a8-7600 and can still run Honkai even tho on low specs sadly 10-20fps on Apho2, not sure about the other ones tho
what's ur current drivers?
if it's Adrenalin, A8-X may support but you need to switch off some parts
if you don't want bother it, install Catalyst Control Center instead because u using A-Series
from that on now, you kinda need to overclock panel a bit
this APU may have some issues and crash either in APHO/2, bassically can't really handle it in normal conditions, and maybe when u starting because hi3 regards ur APU as medium-low graphic
so temporarily crash is happened, i know because i've testes some apu environment
you might need to start as low res mode (shift+click/enter) when launch game
Yeah with that APU you can play at 720p max
How about graphics quality? I'm sadly to say if you play with that kind of spec all of them must be low quality
Hell I'm playing an old game but I can go far to medium + 720p at best if I go 1080p is it really laggy/unplayable

so several days before I run honkai on pc without any problem and from yesterday until today I can't run the game and always show pop up failed to check update. reconnect?
I try different network and wifi including personal hotspot still no work, but when I try on my mobile phone or tablet with the same network, it runs perfectly
I try to turn off the rtp and reinstall the game but still no good, try to reinstall the C++ still won't do good too

The only hyv staff in here is some community manager people iirc, they have a dedicated customer support helpdesk for any actual issues and yes this is the official discord but it's always been community run so anyone at the helpdesk isn't even in this server, neither are the devs iirc so no unfortunately they aren't seeing what you're saying.

looks like it's been too long since it was deleted to recover the Google account.
The only thing I can recommend for your old account is to try and make sure you figure out and try to get as exact as possible for all the answers that the form has before asking for it again.

The problem is is that they have to be able to prove as a company beyond any legal uncertainty that someone is the original genuine owner before giving them the account otherwise people would 100% be losing their accounts to fraud and people pretending to be the account owner

Tbh the valks unlocked isn't a good proof for account recovery, that's something that can be looked up or guessed, but the only process to get your account back is that account recovery form from customer support. Make sure every single question is as accurate as possible. Don't just say USA for the location for where you created it, figure out where you were and try putting that city and state. If your previous PC was prebuilt then look up the specs for what kind of stuff it has to be as specific as possible. Someone here went through that form 7 times before they got it right enough to be approved. If you're not sure the specifics of a question then maybe try to get it more accurate because every question matters, just some more than others but they all matter
But it's the only way to get your old account back. I personally lost my genshin account because I didn't know my UID and had to start over, that was rough

i got the actual hyv acc from a friend ik irl, it was supposed to be for genshin impact since on april 22, 2022 my genshin acc got stolen. she gave me the acc on that day and thats the date i linked the current linked email. i decided to start hi3 on it instead. the location where i re-linked that currently linked email i know, its where i live obvilously. i also don't know the method that was used to register the hyv acc. i keep putting username bc ik the username. so it's probably (most likely) those two things getting in the way. no, my friend got the acc in the first place a few months before she gave it to me bc she traded for it. since april of 2022 the acc has been mine and only mine. password didn't change, no nothing
and the friend ik irl she lives like 10 minutes from me but we had a falling out in the beginning of this year so i cant ask her any questions

Ah that's probably the issue then, account sharing is against TOS and if you're getting the questions on the creation part very wrong then that's probably too different to approve it
Might have to start over, cuz if the hoyoverse account creation date stuff and device used to create it is wrong and location and all that then that's probably too much. And if they find out you got the account from someone else they won't help you at all since it's forbidden in the terms of service
Also the username is not the same thing as the in game nickname. The username can be set only once and can't be changed, even on account.hoyoverse.com

I mean the date is probably wrong too since it's not talking about your honkai account but the hoyoverse account creation date. Same with the device specs of the device used to create the account. And the country does it only ask for country or does it say physical location? Cuz last time I ran across the form it could take the city and state too which helped a lot.
You can keep trying but unless you get the answers right they're probably gonna keep denying it. I personally would just start over but that's my personal preference so I won't tell you to do trying if you would rather keep trying instead of starting over

It may seem like you can delete and forget that, you have a diferent model of the Elitebook 850 G2, without the AMD discrete GPU

I can see the 5200U version of the G2 being sold in places, but HP don't seem to have that listed on their own site, so may be a case of it being an international variant for asian markets; Which is a thing for many OEMs

Help, I keep crashing after the 7.0 patch. Sometimes it crashes in the elevator, sometimes it lets me through and crashes after I try to play.
I'm on the steam client, and I've tried the following:
- Updated GPU drivers.
- Verified the integrity of local files.
After verifying, crashing and verifying it let me through just enough for me to do APHO tasks but after I tried to play anything else, it crashed and I'm back to always crashing on the elevator.


I deleted the Hi3 folder in AppData/LocalLow/Mihoyo and it seemed to partially help. I can get ingame but it still crashes during gameplay. 
Whelp, at least now I have the crash dump available. Anyone know where I can send this? The #how-to-contact-cs is not very clear on this. š¤

that message means that your honkai account is already linked to a hoyoverse account so you cant link it to a different one. if you do not remember what hoyoverse account its on then contact customer support #how-to-contact-cs
(you can also try checking the battle chronicles in hoyolab to see if you can find your honkai account on any hoyoverse accounts you might have)
though if you were able to play recently on your phone via google play then have you tried logging into the game with the google account option?
if you're now on pc you might have to go to account.hoyoverse.com and link an email to your google play hoyoverse account to let it sign in on pc
No I haven't tried playing on my phone yet, but I guess I'll be forced to, if it means retrieving my account. I do remember linking it to my email, but I might've linked it to my phone number as well. For the email that I regularly use for this game, it just created itself a new character in HoyoLab for some reason.
Well if your honkai is on your Google account then you'll just need to link an email address to it to log in with on PC, try logging into hoyolab with your Google account and if you see your honkai account in the battle chronicles then just go to account.hoyoverse.com and check \link an email to use to login with on pc
Keep in mind that the Google account option and the email login (even if it's the same email used for the Google account) is two separate logins that could be used for two separate accounts

no thats impossible, honkai accounts cannot be deleted except by customer support and each hoyoverse account can only have one honkai account on it per server. you also cant merge two hoyoverse accounts together so you cant just put your google plays hoyoverse account on your other hoyoverse account. if you linked a different email address to your google play's hoyoverse account then all that would change is your ability to log in via email and password

what do you mean link it in game? are you talking about logging into your lvl 1 account and linking your google play or are you talking about installing on your phone so you can log in and link an email address?
just to confirm, this is all you have to do, no need to install the game on your phone (try logging into hoyolab with your Google account and if you see your honkai account in the battle chronicles then just go to account.hoyoverse.com and check\link an email to use to login with on pc)

but if you didnt try all three things in that pin, please make sure you try all of them as one or more usually fixes it

can you try going to your honkai installation folder and right click bh3.exe and click properties, then go to compatability and set it to run as administrator and run the compatability troubleshooter and see if that helps, if that doesnt try setting it to windows 8 compatible and see if that helps.

I set the compatibility to Windows 8 and now it froze instead of crashed, so we might get a crash dump.

probably hasnt been in transit long enough for your carrier to be able to track it
The windows compatibility troubleshooter suggested Win8, so I tested it through that and that's when it froze but it didn't actually do anything, just plain unresponsiveness. So I put in the Win8 compatibility and "Run as admin" by hand and ran it.
Just did a map of UM and it seemed to work fine, yesterday it started crashing after the third map so I'll run some more and report back.

Dont rely on 17track, mihoyo using cainiao for logistics this time around instead of just china post.
17track doesn't support cainiao, use parcelsapp.com or postal.ninja instead for universal tracking or even global.cainiao.com for cainiaos official tracking
17track will only pickup on the number once a non-cainiao courier pickups the package in their logistics network, skipping the cainiao steps
if u do end up using cainiaos tracking, dont trust their progress bar, ive had packages appear in countries they yet have reached

I do want to correct myself, 17track can track cainiao packages, but you first have to select it as courier, for some reason it only auto detects the destination courier and not cainiao itself

No I don't think I have any Anticheats and Windows firewall is not blocking it either. No AVs either. I have NordVPN connected to my home country (Finland) but turning that off doesn't help.
Then there's no way to check what it was exactly since it only logs the last 30 days, but it might not have been that store specifically, maybe some other tab that was running a discount, but the only non divisible by 5 crystal counts that I'm aware of are from discounts like the example photo I sent
Honestly so I can think of at this point is to play around with the compatability thing again since it's possible steam might have auto reverted what you did before. But regardless if that works or not I'd contact customer support. But good luck I'm headed to bed now

tbh is the same game (outside the login difference), so if is really something "outside" the game causing the issue, then is going to happen on the HYV ver. too
but yeah like luna said, the only thing you can do now is to contact cs, and tell them your issue

If you are asking for an accidental one you made before linking a miHoYo account, then yeah, You can contact CS, but for any other, no.
they only "unlink" a new hi3 account (with tutorial not finish)

No, when you finish the tutorial you end up on ±lvl15, after that the account is link to HYV forever (I think they take in count the time active to unlink too)

@pearl shadow I still don't understand your problem... The "savedata" is server based, so you can just on the login screen, change server to NA and it's going to start a new one (if you never played on NA before on that account)
been experiencing a problem where aft launching a game and being at the tap to enter part, it doesnt enter after tapping multiple times. it usually resolves itself aft awhile but is there anyt else i can try to do or nah
Sound like a connection issue tbh, so it's taking more time to entering the game.
If that is the case, then yeah just wait until your ISP fix it (usually can take some min-hrs, and on extreme cases up to week-months)

Yeah is a connection issue, after you "press" to login, the game need to contact the server, so if there is problems can take more time

I wanted to do that but i realised I had made a account in NA before and I bricked it in 3 days
It's could just be that you are getting a bad routing, hopefully is solve soon, but the good thing is that you are still able to login, other users before just can't enter at all, and they have to use a VPN
Then sadly you only option is to create a new HYV account 
Guys - im on mobile, I started downloading the game files at 30mbps and when I got to 50% it started oscillating between 50kbps - 2mbps and itās still like 11gb to go

Just checked pins, I see this is a recurring issue with no solution. However Iām pretty sure that the issue has nothing to do with my ISP lol Iām downloading other torrents as we speak at 10mbps
if the torrents were on the same server as honkai then that would matter, but the issue isn't with your internet inherently, its with the route your internet is taking to get to honkai servers if that makes sense. I'd recommend pausing the download, then connecting to a VPN and trying again because something is throttling your connection, could be your ISP throttling some connections if you're downloading multiple large things at once, could also be some other ISP along your route to honkai servers throttling your connection but either way usually a VPN, restarting your phone or switching to another network usually helps
and if you've tried all three of those things and have no improvements then email customer support to have them investigate #how-to-contact-cs

steam doesnt have the option to use your hoyoverse account, theres no way to convert a steam installation to a normal one or anything like that. if you want to play on your regular account you'll have to download through the launcher. sorry 
(though you can try either collapse or the better launcher, the community made ones in teh first pin)

then that will download the game minus the launcher, you'll have to add bh3.exe shortcut to your start menu or something and you'll have to manually update the game every version update

i'd personally recommend using one of the community launchers, they generally download much better than the regular launcher so run into less issues

either work great so it boils down to personal preference, i think the better launcher works best for honkai but collapse has the ability to swap between all hoyoverse games in one launcher so you dont need to open other launchers
oh well i only play honkai 3rd

its not possible, steam uses your steamID to login with, no option for hoyoverse login. you'll have to install it from the regular launcher (ilnks to the launcher in the first pin)
so can i put the steam HI3 FIle into the launcher so that i wont have to wait for the download?
sorry that wont work either, the steam files are mostly different than the sea version since its the NA server. you'll have to freshly install it 

i honestly have no idea wtf's goin on. I live in malaysia so idk if SEA parcels tend to be slower than others since ive seen places like france, germany and NA got theirs but havent seen a SEA one yet
Hello anyone knows how to fix stuttering audio from Hi3rd? Like it only happens on Hi3rd and every other program works fine. Audio cuts off every like 2-5 secs. If anyone knows a fix please help. Thanks

if on pc maybe try restarting your computer and might need to check for windows updates or reinstall your audio drivers

if its the right account then it has to be the wrong server, its actually impossible for accounts to be deleted so if we assume its the right account then it has to be the wrong server. what server did you used to play on and around how long has it been since you last played?
