if that doesnt work then it could be a deeper windows thing, open a command prompt as admin and run sfc /scannow to scan all your windows system files and fix any corrupted ones

okie, one thing you can also try is in that same guide i linked you (the second link) theres a part of where to check in the bios for the audio controller

and yeah most likely. your computers a bit of a frankenstein so i think the onboard audio drivers dont work cuz they're all for win 10 but you have win 11. the reason the controller works is because the audio is going through the usb for your controller

then the manual driver update should have fixed it, they tried both front and back panels with multiple headsets so it shouldnt be a hardware issue

then yeah unfortunately the new fix is to reinstall the game, some internal game logic is broke and we've eliminated your windows/drivers causing it and the repair isnt finding it either

it could be the motherboard controller thing mentioned on asus site, but on the other hand i'd suggest some auto driver installing software like Obit driver booster (the free trial version is enough), as there could be a driver updates for the audio controller that is not added in the mobo site since its from 2012

honestly? completely unknown. all we know about the engine update is that graphics demo which we have no idea if its even optimized at all or if its crazy optimized and runs better than old (duct taped) engine. all i can do is pray and hope and pray some more that it does not quadruple the requirements otherwise it'll be a really busy 4 months in here emoting to angry captains

so the reason for that is the rendering accuracy setting, dont set it to max. it basically uses 2.5 sampling which is bonkers and since most users cannot even get close to that its not very optimized so the only cards that i know of that can run the game well on 1080p with rendering accuracy set to very high is a 4080 or better

so a few things you can try when you're ready to try more

1. if possible try ethernet, if not possible thats fine.
2. run command prompt as admin (click start and type cmd and right click it and click run as administrator. Once its open type sfc /scannow and then hit enter to try and scan/repair any broken windows system files.

1. Leave the ER, close game, restart device, open game and try again.
2. At the login screen click the red repair icon at the bottom left and check assets.
3. If you have the Internet for it you can try deleting assets and redownloading them but it'll be like a 10-15GB download.
4. If none of that works you can try contacting customer support #how-to-contact-cs and report it (can also try reinstalling the game but that's a lot of downloading)

so the epic overlay sometimes grabs the mouse from the game thats running

so you can try this https://www.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/comments/dwhc6b/epic_store_mouse_cursor_fix_for_new_114_patch/ but if it doesnt work (its old so might not work anymore) then contact customer support #how-to-contact-cs and in the meantime you can fix this issue by first closing epic (and making sure its closed in teh task manager too and then manually opening the game by going to your games installation folder (default is C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Honkai Impact 3rd\Games\ ) and then run bh3.exe to open the game, that should bypass the epic overlay thing to let the mouse work though for topping up it'll only have the credit card option until you can run it through epic

if you set the location off of auto it might give you a list of countries? but i just checked out solovpn, its not a true VPN its a proxy and apparently it has very slow speeds so that might be also causing the connection issue since it needs a stable connection to the server. if taking it off of auto and connecting to the usa doesnt help then try ProtonVPN. its a true VPN and doesnt throttle speeds at all even on the free account option so that might fix it

try at the login screen click the red repair icon in the bottom left and check for broken assets

and does the cutscene stop at same place if you replay it manually from the collection book ?

no, these files are the HI3 update. if you had the direct download for the other games this same process would work but i dont think the other games have direct download. for those i recommend connecting to a VPN (free one in the pins here if you dont have one) and trying again

So Mei's VA had covid and scheduling issues at the time so she couldnt voice those lines so its like that for everyone. Unfortunately im not aware of any active plans to have her go back and voice those lines but you can always bring it up at the version surveys they ask people to fill out at the end of every version

maybe they are gonna have her do it but I havent heard of plans for it
