It depends you could maybe go to your local computer shop cause mine sells some used ones (I do use a separate pc not linked to anything in case) then just reformat them that way do keep aware of the dangers thoug when buying used drives if you are budget restricted

Yeah 100% fake by the price + see the pictures from before (most of the USB of that capacity are bigger in size), the problems is that you can't know what is the real storage size, if they are less that 30gb the game will get corrupted

Once you reinstall you select the basic assets, where you don't install some map/audio/cg until you need them

you have to go into the ai-chan phone customer support to check your tickets but they do not process account recovery requests via in game support tickets, its becasue how can you need account recovery if you're already in the game? so double check in the ai chan phone ingame support to see if they replied but if they did they probably said to email them about it

it doesnt matter what email address you use. and none of them are connected to the hoyoverse account that your honkai is currently on so yeah it doesnt matter. they'll have you fill out a form to prove account ownership and stuff, they dont look at the email address you use to send the email

just send them an email with a description of your problem (you dont know what hoyoverse account your honkai is on) and the UID of your honkai account

no, afaik the game use xinput as the default mapping and is just a conversion for the other controller, so no gyro and no rumble for dinput
(this last one afaik need to be manually coded so the rumble commands are send to dinput device, i could be wrong)

i still have the 360 one working, but i lost the adapter so i can only use it on the console

and the xinput is more easy to add to games, because the x button is going to always be the one on the left
while on dinput, you have x down for ps and up for nintendo, and not to talk about cheap 3rd party ones, where instead you have numbers or new symbols

btw i have an old project that i could resurrect if you want, it basically downloads the launcher patch file in 10MB sized chunks and hash verifies each one before recombining them. its slow to download but it basically guarntees minimal redownloading if a byte or two is corrupted

you can if you want. i tested it myself on one of my test game clients lol. its nothing too complex. just the file broken up with 7zip and then hashed and uploaded to mega and then the script auto downloads it and verifies the hash basically. but if you want to i'll do the thing with 6.8

i'd say after that factory reset all kind of things of your net config are messed up, in case you are using static IP in your lan, you need to config it manually with gateway (router IP) and correct subnet mask

so first download those files and copy them to your computer, then in you hp pavilion go into the device manager, right click the network adapter (lan) and uninstall it. once thats gone go ahead and run the files to reinstall the driver and hopefully that fixes it

(pre 1): make a folder on your D: called honkai impact 3rd or somethign like that.

1. download the launcher with this link https://api-os-takumi.mihoyo.com/event/download_porter/link/bh3_os/pcglobal/default
   2.. when you first open it it will have the install button, do NOT click it yet, cilck advanced below that and set the isntall location to the folder you made before step 1.
2. install the launcher there and when its done, the launcher should open but dont click get game. Close the launcher.
3. copy your honkai games folder (the one with bh3.exe in it) to the folder the launcher is in.
4. open the launcher and click update/get game. now the launcher should be managing the game and will update it.
5. delete your honkai shortcut and go to your new launcher folder and make a shortcut of launcher.exe

sadly its not possible. if you delete them the game will redownload them since they're used in the beginning stages. you can reinstall the game and at the first time opening it select the minimal asset download, that wont download everything so it'll just download anything thats needed for the stage you're going into

tbh every version update around 10-30 captains come in here with download errors and using a VPN on a connection to the usa fixes about 99% of them. its not even an issue with the captains specific ISP or with honkai servers, its almost always an unstable part of the connection in the middle of the 20 or so hops the network connection makes

well its very possible that your connection to honkai servers was fine when you did the predownload, and then your ISP sent you through a bottle necked data center which corrupted the download. tbh theres a huge difference in download size between logging in and downloading 2-3GB and if the connection is only periodically unstable (like maybe a half second of loss every 10 minutes or so) that would still corrupt the download

it just scans the hash of all the files and compares them which network connection wise only takes up about 10KB over like 2 seconds. the majority of the time is your hard drive speed reading the files

yup, if its a connection issue that is more than like a milisecond at a time it'll fail downloads everytime until either the datacenter fixes their issue or you go around them entirely (thats what the VPN does)

but over the course of connecting through 20 data centers and like a half dozen countries usually. a lot of variance can happen

that is correct, that is what a corrupted file looks like. a corrupted file is the same size but the 1's and 0's in it are mixed up or even a few are missing which changes the hash which makes the verification fail.

a smaller file size would be an interrupted download
