only cs can do unlink of accidental accounts so you can then link the old one #how-to-contact-cs
Send them the email, tell them about your issue, an put a screenshot of the message that you get when trying to link

running directly from the exe is not going to give you any problem, but about the launcher, by any chance did you move the folder recently?

Tbh the file was corrupted from before, what the verification do is to check that the files is not corrupted so it can start unzipping after. Sometimes can be detected almost immediately and in other have to scan all of the file to find the problem

at the moment of the first cg start playing, you created the account so the started event timer start counting from there
even if you decided to close the game and never finish the tutorial/first stage of the game
so if you now just come back to really start playing again, the started event timer just ended

is most likely that something causing problem in the routing your ISP uses.
check the 6th pin for some ways to fix/bypass the issue

It's just bad timing in your case, is a problem that can happens to anybody unless you have a ISP with a very good routing

For most people is fix by "itself" in some hrs-days, for other in weeks

And in some cases is worse, e.g I have a ISP and their routing is really bad that 9/10 times I can't even enter the game (and even other websites)

Yes you can, but ** keep in mind that doing that it going to delete any other game account that was link to it ** (Hi3-ToT-GI-HSR-...) And you do it on the user center in the game or via HoYoverse account website. it will take 30 days to do it.
You can't delete if the account is not old enough or if any security/login info was change recently

Idk from where did you download the game tbh, the files the mod put in there are the same that the launcher and afaik you are the only one with that problem from the start, and i think you are mistaking the game files, the honka download is just ~10gb for the base files, I think is 10 more for the full assets

And why don't you use the launcher? I know that manually unzip the game can cause some problem for some users, more if you use other unzip program that the one the launcher use

better launcher and collapse launcher are open source Launchers, one thing they do is download the files differently, have some feature like for example collapse launcher have the Delta patch feature so you can just download like 1gb for the updates (you need to wait for the dev to make that compress file), and more

just in case if you still have the 6.7 7z file you can use it to install, you only need to "start the download" on the launcher, close it and on the install folder, delete the tmp file and place the 7z one. Then when trying to "download" will detect the file and start installing the "basic assets"

I had an issue earlier where I couldn't install the game to my external storage because the launcher seems to think it has no storage available despite it actually having over a terrabyte of storage available, and I uninstalled the old launcher and tried to reinstall it, but it's still having the same issue. the first 2 are really old, there are in the game almost from the start and didnt get any graphics rework so they look very outdated
APHO is more recent + demanding but iirc still uses the "default settings" for the graphics
APHO2 is the newest and the more demanding stage graphically, that introduce new graphics settings just for that map + the new chapter ones (local values on settings)

fair enough. tbh some of the regular CG's freeze at a certain point but i thought the chinese cg's were confirmed good which means its a game issue which some other people have had that too. You can try redownloading the JP cg's but no guarantees with that. you might have to contact customer support and dont mention that you use chinese cg's those aren't officially given out so they might not help if they find out you're using the chinese cg's

nop, once the account are created/link to hyv and you play x amount of days on the game, the account is "locked" for security reasons,
that way they can stop stolen accounts to be linked to another one + they make more difficult to people to sell accounts (prohibited by TOS)

if you can access the game and its not a brand new beginner account clearly made by mistake they do not unlink it by policy

partly because the entire unlinking process was made and designed for account retreival, not account convenience and its stated that account transfer is not possible. the only reason the unlink works to "transfer" an account is because they delete the hoyoverse its on entirely and link it to a new one or one that you have access to that doesnt have a game account

Hi guys, long time player here. I am currently facing connectivity issues with the HI3 servers. I play on global (EU). Initially, the problem began on my pc whilst the game ran on my phone just fine. Currently however, I am facing this problem on both platforms. Any solutions for this? I have been trying to play the game for the past week but these issues have made it next to impossible to do anything past the initial login rewards. Just to clarify this is not an issue with my connection as all other games run fine (including other Hoyoverse games such as Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact)

Sorry it's not possible, if you can access both accounts then account transfer isn't possible

Go ahead and report that to customer support (tbh the issue isn't on their end so they can't just fix it but it's good to let them know about it) but the fix is to use a VPN when playing the game for the time being until whatever middleman that is being unstable between you and honkai servers specifically (HSR and genshin servers are on different servers in different physical location's so the fact those games work doesn't really mean anything). But just use the USA country option in the VPN in this pin, it's free and proven to be good but just they playing normally and if there's and issue just use the con for the day. Hopefully should be back to normal in a week or two #🔌technical-help message

no its not possible, settings wont let you do it, you'd have to bind your mouse button to a keyboard key which would make the clicking stop working right

uh so i downloaded the winrar file for the update since it wasn't updating the usual way and I pasted the file in the games folder and when I tried to launch the game the game tryna download the usual material

So to do that you'll have to do it a little different but I'll explain

so lemme say everything that happened:
game file not downloading usual way so i download winrar
paste winrar and instead of verifying the game tryna redownload
so now I extracted winrar and about to paste the extracted files

So you'll need to close the launcher and make sure it's closed in the task manager (sometimes it stays open in the background) and after you've unzipped the file go into the bh3_data folder and paste the files there and replace any existing files. Then go to the games folder and just run bh3.exe to open the game. It'll download the rest of the update. When you're at the login screen close the game send then open the launcher and then click the 3 lines next to update or launch and verify the game files

Then you should be good

When you click verify it might redownload a little bit if your zip file is a little corrupted but it shouldn't be the whole thing

Oh and also when you reopen the launcher make sure in the launcher settings that the game folder is set to your current games folder

yeah so its weird that its not crashing, but i think its due to your GPU meeting the bare minimum and apho2 is significantly more graphics hungry than the rest of the game. I would recommend updating your amd drivers and trying to lower the graphics as low as you can for that mission
