i'd recommend to stop worrying about getting everything right at this moment, theres a lot more questions on the form and you havent even gotten it yet so just email customer support and when you get the form if theres any question you're not 100% certain you're answering it right then you can ask in here.

Well it could be, if the launcher said that the files are corrupted that could rarely make a infinite loading, most of the time just crash/freeze

though reintsalling or wating for update to go live probably wont help, thats either a corrupt download or a connection issue, depending on the error and if you were pre-downloading or just opening to play

ISP can route different devices differently even if they're on the same network to be honest so the fact your laptop works while your pc doesnt doesnt mean that much. now if your pc has not worked in months then i'd check that your AV isnt blocking honkai or something like that, maybe even reisntall windows or something because most ISP issues resolve themselves after a few weeks at most

there isnt one. trust me i've spent way too much time trying to get it to work. I managed to sort of come up with a janky solution that got immediately invalidated becasuse they started delta patching so any download of just the files updated would be around 3X bigger thus invalidating the point of why people need to manually update (slow/unstable connection speed)

hmm, usually that error means that the app store you got it from is a different version than the regular game but it usually says 5.3c or something like that. your honkai is the correct version, does QooApp say its up to date btw?

if it does then may need to reinstall through google play store if QooApp is uploading unofficial versions of the game now

validating games files is done by literally every game that is a live service. its to make sure the files you downloaded arent corrupt before patching them into the game and breaking the whole thing which would require reinstalling the entire thing but yes if you want alternate validation then can use game repair for collapse launcher

maybe, but to be perfectly honest most users have 0 issues. if you're constantly being plagued with validation errors and having to download things multiple times then that is 100% on your ISP using some budget routes that are unstable, which is also something that honkai cannot fix since the issue isnt on their end

Welp, I mean... I could admit that Patching process in Honkai is kinda.... bad-ish
The problem is.... The game didn't check both Patch and Old files before applying it.
This results MergeAudioPatchException as error 10042 and this happened when BSDiff module failed to patch it because the old file is unmatched.

I wish it was 6.5 Yesterday I logged into the game (PC) just fine, did a few dailies and logged out. Upon trying to log back in hours later, I opened the Honkai launcher and I clicked on the "Enter" button (to login), nothing loaded. This was the first time I encountered this issue. Internet connection was running just fine (I was in another game at the same time as well). I tried uninstalling the game and downaloding the Launcher anew from the website. Upon downloading and installing the launcher, I am presented with the option "Get Game" where if I click on it, it only notes that its checking for updates, but this doesn't lead anywhere. I also see that the launcher screen is showing "v4.8" update, which appears to be an older one. The problem is that I cannot even download the game from the launcher for some reason

So 2 things it could be, 1 your Nvidia drivers are 2.5 years out of date so download Nvidia GeForce experience and update that if possible. (I'm not sure if the gt 710 has current driver's but still try)

2 your computer is below the recommended with both RAM and your graphics card so updating your driver's is not guaranteed to fix it since you're computer is below the minimum

@proper mantle But if it's not detecting any drive at all or if that doesn't work you may need to just uninstall and reinstall (if you want to install on a different drive like your d: then at the very first screen of the launcher installation go to advanced and set the folder you want it to, make sure it's it's own empty folder)

Oh and make sure you're running the launcher as admin, that might fix the not detecting drives at all issue

Yes it's been that big every update for like a year or more. It's mostly due to lack of Delta patching for the launcher update. It redownloads all the updated files which total to around 11gb

If that is too much though you can try the delta patching feature for the collapse launcher. It only downloads the updated parts and not the whole files so while it's a bit complicated it brings it down to around 6-800mb on average
