maybe it was the update then causeing it. after the update is finished go ahead and restart y our computer and try normally and if that doesnt fix it then you might just have buffer bloat in your router, if at all possible please try restarting it (assuming restarting after the update does nothing)

25gb for full resource download. You can choose minimal resources for about 19-20gb but it'll prompt you to download a specific stages resources if you don't have then when you go to do a stage

gameplay? no. ping? not really, it depends mostly on your ISP. but they have the same events and updates. depending on timezone SEA can start stuff "earlier" than GLB and i think the anniversary events are on different times (could be wrong on that) but they're pretty identical. SEA has different language options too

I believe so when wired, iirc players have problems with PS controllers mostly when trying to connect via Bluetooth.

If you're talking about the new dualsense edge tho, I think not supported yet.

Try lowering your graphics settings preset to quality or performance and test to see if that works (assuming it's happening in every stage) if it was just that one time or two then probably was some broken stage assets, you can try repairing then with the red repair icon in the lower left of the login screen

ok yeah so it looks like your GPU is running out of vram and thats whats causing it to crash. 2gb of VRAM is the bare minimum to even render the characters and with the updated graphics (they increase the requirements every patch so yours was at the limit before basically) so if you turned your graphics preset to normal or performance that should help a lot. if you have 16GB or more of ram and a modern ish (like last 4 or so years old) CPU then you can also try setting the game to use your integrated GPU instead of your dedicated nvidia one in the windows settings it might be able to run on HD depending on your cpu

Yes it has a better chance but the steam version of the game will make your account start over so if you try the steam method make sure your just adding your currently installed bh3.exe to your steam library

hmm your windows and gpu are up to date but its possible that something in the newest driver update for your gpu is causing problems since it is less than a month old. i'd try rolling back your GPU drivers to something in february. if that doesnt fix it then its also possible that this has nothing to do with your gpu being slightly under the minimum requirements and could be an update issue, if your internet is cool with it then reinstalling the game might be the solution if none of the other stuff helps

Why isn't cross play allowed with steam

from the way i understand it its due to how steam works with accounts and the fact that hoyoverse doesnt have cross server account save available for anything, like you cant move your account from SEA to NA, etc

and steam by default uses your steamID to create an account for games so they have a steam login server just for steam. you can provide feedback to customer support and ask for an official explanation or to ask them to figure it out

the game have cross-play meaning that you can play with people that uses other devices (the only requirement is to play on the same server)
but the game doesnt have "cross-save" with steam/huawei because of the login method that the game uses on those stores

then select it and set the graphics option to not your nvidia one but the other one if there is one

if its not there you can also go to your nvidia control panel like in this screenshot and add bh3.exe as an option to run on the integrated gpu, not your 750ti

other games have very different graphics requirements. like for instance my computer can run minecraft just fine but would probably catch on fire if i tried to play elden ring on it. dont be fooled by the anime textures. a 2k resolution anime character asset is just as demanding on your gpu as a 2k resolution photo-realistic tree

those games are also way more optimized though. honkai is first and foremost a mobile game and is kinda of a miracle that it runs as well as it does on mobile. pc version is still decently optimized but their character models are very high resolution and some shaders are really cranked up so it needs a bare minimum of 2gb VRAM to even show characters. anything less than 2GB will make the characters not show up during dialogue screens if that makes sense. and that was like a year ago
but either way its optimization is just how it is, no one here can really do anything about that. but hopefully it runs a little smoother on your iGPU after updating the drivers

in general sure but if lets say your gpu was at like 99% capacity before the update and what they changed took even 1 more percent of your GPU then it would "suddenly" stop working. its not that your GPU is old per se (which it is and doesnt help) but from your output log it just simply didnt have enough vram. thats why your iGPU works even though graphically its "worse" than your gpu. your iGPU uses your ram as VRAM so it has access to more than 2GB of it

yeah that it is on the most part, keep in mind that the game is being optimized with the new hardware in mind, so old ones can have problem displaying/running the new shaders, assets, models,etc.
for example for the last patch on mobile the game wasn't optimised for the iphone 6 making it unplayable

yes the twitter account you used to make a new account cant be used to link to another hoyoverse account until its first unlinked from teh first hoyoverse account (the new account one) but that wont get your old honkai account back either since all this is just hoyoverse account stuff.

Yes, We already noticed it and are still working on the fix.
And that "11GB Download", that was due to some changes in the folder name for Audio files.
In 3.6, they changed it from "Audio" to "AudioAssets" and Collapse Launcher didn't recognize that folder and instead extracts the entire thing into old "Audio" folder

Number 4 is referring to that you can't log into the account that's unbound if it's only on a hoyoverse, like how would you login with hoyoverse if the honkai account isn't on any hoyoverse. Since you're don't care about the honkai account you're trying to unbind (you just want a different honkai account on this hoyoverse) then it shouldn't matter if you can't login to the honkai account you're trying to unbind.

yup you'll get an email within 1-7 business days saying its either unlinked or that they couldnt verify your account ownership and have rejected it. (if for some reason it gets rejected you can always ask for another form to try again, some people did it like 4 times before they got their info right and it got approved)

i see, then with all the stuff being said the issue has to with your own ISP, its either blocking or throttling your connection or some such. Its happened to a couple of players where their ISP accidentally blocked their connection so i'd give them a call and let them know that its just this one thing and list all the stuff you've tried

if the issue was with the game then clearing your cache would have fixed it, if it was the servers there'd be like 500 people in here right now and if the issue was something in between you and honkai servers then a VPN would have fixed that and if the issue was buffer bloat or something in your router then restarting that would have fixed that so it really sounds like your ISP.

If it's ISP I guess I can't do much to fix it. Sigh. Hopefully they would revert whatever they were doing. Genshin is running normally so I don't think it's throttling. It might be random blocking.

well the fact genshin works doesnt actually mean anything, its on a totally different server (both technically and physically) than honkai so your ISP would treat it differently

you can test i guess by trying on a totally different wifi if possible but yeah you've narrowed down the culprit to your ISP it sounds like

i doubt that its due to the age of the client, it still connects to the same place. if the update completes without issues then like iho said its possible your antivirus is blocking it, might need to make an exception to the game (bh3.exe in y our games folder of the installation location) and there is still a very small chance your isp is routing the two devices differently due to them being different devices

yes, and you'd have to link the honkai you want to the hoyoverse your want if customer support does not do it for you.

also no matter what you do your account wont get deleted. worst case scenario is that you cant log in until customer support sorts it out but none of this is "deleting" your progress or anything. customer support doesnt delete accounts, its not a thing they do. the thing saying that you cant log into the game after unlinking is because when it isnt linked to a hoyoverse account you cant login since you can only log in with a hoyoverse account so you cant log in until you've linked it to a hoyoverse account.

the old mihoyopass username is asking what the old mihoyo account username was for your honkai account if you have one. if you dont know it just put N/A or something like that.

assuming you put your genshin accounts UID in there and everything else checks out then it shouldnt do anything to your genshin account.

you can play but check your email first for them saying its unlinked before playing. if you log into a hoyoverse account after its been unlinked (aka there is no honkai account on it) then it'll auto create a new honkai account and you'll be stuck needing to unlink that one too.

what about it? if you had a phone number then put that in there, if you did not then leave it blank (if its required put like 55555555 or something.) the account creation date is pretty important, please try to remember. maybe try to remember what new character or event was going on and then look at the pv trailers on their youtube channel for when that version came out

Mobius came out in 5.2, that would be oct 21 2021 when it came out. just try to put like a week after or something.

its asking for all that because if they approve it and unlink your account, they are officially saying as a company that you are the genuine original owner of that account, you could sue them for that if they are wrong so they are VERY careful with doing this whole process

the cutscenes are actually pretty optimized on pc, on lowest graphic settings it can run on a potato. i doubt its a lack of good hardware issue. its probably a broken cutscene file or your driver is like 3 years old (or super recent) and is literally bugging out which honkai devs cant do anything about either. but if you dont want me to see what gpu + driver its using then i wont ask again

hiyaa none of that tells me what driver version you are using which is what i've been asking for this whole time, please just install AMD adrenaline and make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. at least i know its an AMD r5 230 which tbh is like half the minimum requirements needed to run the game (the minimum requirements is 2GB VRAM and yours only has 1GB VRAM). im actually shocked that you havent had any issues so far.

also i would point out that even though this has never happened the latest stuff is the most graphically intensive out of everything they've released so far, the minimum requirements for this game have gone up 4 times or more since they released the game because they keep making it look better.

but what i would recommend is first installing amd adrenaline and making sure your graphics are up to date and if they are and you are still having the issue at 0 graphics then go into your windows settings > graphics > click browse to add honkai's bh3.exe from your honkais installation/games folder and then set it to use your iGPU, your intel one. that might give it enough vram to run.

but yes your computers cpu and GPU and ram were honestly budget or getting close to obsolete back when this game came out in china 7 years ago

Help, Sometimes, if I proc my susannah weapon active, even if I'm not pressing anything it will press regardless if I pressed the button for attacking with weapon active or not. And, I'm pretty sure this is a bug but how do I stop this from happening? This is getting on my nerves when I'm playing event stages, Memorial arena or Abyss.

the cause of your issue could be different depending on if you are using a keyboard or a controller to play so thats why i asked

cause there are "clean your kb or controller", "ah that X is prone to its button being stuck"and such

cause controllers and keyboards are very different

actually if i had to guess its something like how you know how some games if you turn them on and then plug in a headset or something it wont detect the audio change and just wont work until you restart? I wonder if honkai does that but with bt because bt would naturally have dead spots for like miliseconds and stuff
