they've optimized them a bit to save on frames during combat, aka lowered the texture resolution. if its super bad you might want to increase your rendering accuracy in the settings or just increase the graphic preset

one of the big reasons that its against TOS is because lots of people get their accounts stolen because they let a "friend" borrow it or they'll let a friend borrow it and the friend will use a 3rd party tool which will get the account banned and stuff. its just a huge mess in general to let people do it so its in the TOS as "cant do it and can result in a ban and anything that happens to the account while you're lending it out is your responsibility" etc

ok, and one big thing to keep in mind. the hoyoverse account you used to log in with and got a lvl 1 character. you cant link to that since you already have a honkai account on it. when you get to the second half of the account retreival part where it asks you to log into the hoyoverse account that you want to link to you'll need to register a new account with like a different email address or something

no, not without deleting the entire hoyoverse account and its associated games (genshin, etc). its an anti hacker measure. makes sure they cant blackmail anyone with it. customer service can unlink the honkai account but its a sort of lengthy process so if you want to get in in the next day or three its faster to just make a new hoyoverse account

for your other question you cant log in via the phone number, its used for verification purposes, like sending a verification code when trying to change your password or something like that.

np! if you want to give keyboard a whirl, keep in mind that you cant rebind mouse to attack or anything so i recommend just getting used to it. its actually less laggy than a controller lol

for the controller, i actually dont recommend bluetooth if possible. it does work (usually) but if it has issues then hooking it up wired almost always works/fixes it. its just harder for honkai to detect bluetooth controllers due to using windows xinput for the controller controller

though just to let you know they dont actually have a service to move accounts around like that. the way they are bound to their hoyoverse account doesnt really let them just do that easily so they dont usually do that, especially if you can already access your accounts but you can email them and ask and see if they'll do it for you. Just explain what you want to do and give them the UID of both your honkai and genshin accounts and the hoyoverse account ID they are each on (you can find your hoyoverse account ID by logging into account.hoyoverse.com)

it should work no matter where you are iirc. but if you're using the mirror them make sure you arent connected to the VPN first.

but if you've already tried the VPN then i'd suggest restarting your router or trying to re download and reinstall the launcher in case the real issue is the launcher installation got messed up

Has anyone had problems with downloading the game resources on pc? It happened twice for me now, where I download the full 10.5GB on the launcher, then during the verifying game files part, I get an network error message, when I tab retry it just restarts the whole 10.5GB download

I now uninstalled the game and will download it from the start again when I can but it will be so frustrating if it happens again, especially since internet is slow for me and it takes downloading it over night for the download to finish

I also checked the game files after that happened and the whole game folder size is 500MB, meaning the downloaded amount is completely gone

just to make sure you:

1.) downloaded the .7z file
2.) put that in the same folder as your bh3.exe file
3.) did NOT extract
4.) ran launcher as normal.

if you did all that in that order then your manual download was corrupted, i'd recommend trying to connect to a VPN first and then trying the manual download again

the old mihoyo pass is asking what the username and stuff is for your honkai account on the old mihoyo system. since you said you accidentally made a new account then it does not exist in the old mihoyo system so put like N/A or [e-mail] and stuff.

the honkai game account registration date is referring to the date and physical location that you made the honkai account on. like your city, country and the day you made the account

you'll have to redownload the game but whats making it happen again is that you have auto updates turned on in the alternate app store on your phone

you have to turn those off otherwise it'll happen again guaranteed

i started hating this game for so much downloading

i mean yeah this game has a lot of high res textures to be downloading over dial-up download speeds. tbh it just wasnt designed around that and i think they've optimized it as much as possible because now the in game download is just the actual bits and bytes that are updated so it cant go any smaller

but the textures are still big cuz ya know, 20+GB game and a lot of that is audio and texture stuffs

im sorry though i really am. i wish we had manual download links for less than 100MB every time so you could download it easier but the in game ones are as small as it gets now

Yup. So your graphics card is below the minimum requirements to play the game. The minimum requirements are 2gb but yours only has 1 so basically it's trying to render something that it just can't and is crashing.

You can try updating Windows since I did notice that was out of date but tbh your graphics driver's for that card stopped being updated years before the game even came out and it's minimum graphics requirements have gone up 5x or more since then

not really. it shares some files with the glb client, like the video folder for instance but you'd have to start your account over because steam uses steamID to login, not hoyoverse but everything else uses hoyoverse

thats a connection issue, something in between you and honkai servers is throttling your connection. i'd recommend using a VPN to go around that, the 3rd pin has a good free VPN to use if you dont have one

well for 1 steam doesnt have a launcher folder, its honkai impact folder starts as honkai impact 3rd and is just the games folder of a regular installation.
