but like as an example. lets say your friend wanted to try out HoS and you had them but they didnt so you shared your login info with them so they could hop on (lets say they live in a different country) and then they stole your account. customer service wouldnt help you recover it since you violated tos. but to quote what you agreed to when you first entered the game

so like lets say that you let your friend borrow your phone for a whole day to play the game and they downloaded a keymapper for android to spam the buttons. and your account got banned becasue of that. you cant use the excuse that it wasnt you to get your account back

well its because when it made you register the new hoyoverse account, that wasnt the right account basically. your phone login used the hoyoverse account system too even if you didnt realize it. as of july last year the only way to log into the game is with hoyoverse (steam users on pc excluded) so if you've played on mobile any time since last july then you had a hoyoverse account

is it possible you used game center to log in? or email address? could look for an email around when you started playing saying that you registered your hoyoverse account

on mobile go to account retreival button in the bottom right of the login screen

and select the facebook option at the first mihoyo login screen, does it show your account?

well tbh you actually cannot link your honkai to a different hoyoverse account. all you can do is change the login info. can you go to hoyolab and log in with the email address and check the battle chronicles to see if your honkai shows up in there?

so no you cant combine the two accounts together. only customer service has the ability to do that. though just to let you know, if you can access both accounts they usually just say to remember the seperate logins but you can ask customer service if you can combine the two

np! hope they can help you. the reason though that they dont do this a lot of the time is because they actually cant "combine" accounts or move your honkai from one account to the other, what they do is first go through a lengthy process to determine that you're the genuine owner of both accounts and then delete both hoyoverse accounts and clone the game data on a newly created hoyoverse account. this process is actually for account recovery like if you got hacked or something so to be honest they technically dont have a "combine" service but sometimes they'll do that account hacked process to help you out.

just letting you know if they say they cant do it what the reason is

there isnt one, you have to go to regedit and in regedit go to this key: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\miHoYo\Honkai Impact 3rd\GENERAL_DATA_V2_ScreenSettingData_h1916288658 and you can edit that to custom set the resolution and set it fullscreen or windowed

though if the resolution is different from your monitor, i recommend putting it in windowed mode

in short... is the anti-cheat, if you pc have memory integrity | core isolation options enable, its going to block the anti-cheat and the game is not going to run

you are getting the error because the download is corrupted, so you have to download the file again.
if the launcher get the file corrupted again you can download manually the file via mirror or you can try using a custom launcher (everything on the 2nd pin 📌 )

I see, to be honest I have never seen failed to obtain product information. If could be a translated "failed to connect to app store" error like the person below you so you could try clearing out the app store cache or something like a VPN if it's a connection issue. You might need to contact customer support though if that doesn't seem to help

then yeah i'd contact customer support to see if they know how to fix it permanently, basically the issue is epic games overlay is taking the mouse and is also invisible so thats why you cant see it. their email address can be found here #how-to-contact-cs

in the meantime you can close the epic launcher completely, even in the background and then go to your games installation folder (by default its c:\program files\honkai impact ) and then go to the games folder and open bh3.exe to just run the game directly, you wont have the epic store when you top up with crystals. i think it'll default to worldpay which is credit card only. but once customer support fixes it then you can go back to opening through epic to get the epic store when you top up

I'd recommend first though going to hoyolab.com and logging in with what you think the hoyoverse account it is and double checking the honkai battle chronicles to see if your account is there

if it is then you're good, just log into the game with that. if you dont see your account in the battle chronicles then try a different hoyoverse account

no not really, the updating settings/downloading/verifying wouldnt do that. the only thing the game can do i think to make your pc turn off like that is if its overloading teh graphics card so much that it draws too much power and kills the pc but that doesnt happen during the verification screen. sounds like your pc

you dont have to do that, its much easier to just email them, they still respond quickly.

and making a new honkai account to contact them in game would still take time to get past teh tutorial and stuff. but you already have an email account since your issue is that you're putting in your email address and its just not getting the verification email.

but if you really really really dont want to send an email then i guess you could make a new honkai account with your facebook and then explain that you arent getting the verification code for your other account and give them your main accounts UID so they know what account you're talking about.

sorry thats not possible. the way the cutscene files (.usm files) are the subtitles are baked into the file itself. cn dub cg files only have cn subtitles as an option

@stoic reef update, so turning off all my known overlay programs (nvidia/xbox/epic/overwolf/sorta teams not sure if that is one prob not, taskbarx isnt i think so its on) does seem the issue is not showing
not sure which one exactly caused it but its prob one , some, all or some combination of overlay programs dont play nicely with honkai's mouse

so the account retreival has 2 parts to it. theres the initial mihoyo login so you can log into your old account, and then the second part is asking you to log into a hoyoverse account to it. when you did the second part, the hoyoverse login it said account link failed, must have missed it or something

but yeah read the pin that slothy said. it has a guide and says what to do depending on the link failed error you get

Yes because if you didnt link it theres this 1 time process to go through and everything which does suck. but on the other hand every other game hoyoverse has made and is going to make already was on the much more secure hoyoverse account system which has 2fa and everything and also links to all the web events and stuff for ez daily rewards and stuff. Honkai was the only game they had that wasnt on the new system and was much less secure.

people had been asking them to move it over for ages for the above reasons, they also did a nearly 6 month long in game linking event to link your account to the hoyoverse system before the change over so not a huge percentage of the playerbase got affected. but at least now that you can get in you wont have any more problems with it

your honkai is on the old MIHOYO account system linked to your email. that is not the same thing as the HOYOVERSE account linked to the same email

the accidental account is on the HOYOVERSE account system linked to your email. your honkai is on a different hoyoverse account that is not linked to your email

but email customer support with y our UID and ask them what hoyoverse account your honkai is on. they'll tell you #how-to-contact-cs

well those key bindings can be changed, thats just the default

but tbh using a mouse doesnt really make sense. lets say you do bind attack and dodge to it. you still have ult, weapon skill, elf skill, stage specific skill, qte switch in. thats 6 additional buttons that need to not be used by your left hand since thats busy moving and unless you have a 12 button mouse thats not really possible to switch your hand back and forth like that

yeah the 2021 version should be running the game ok. what i'd recommend is either reinstalling the game if you can since it might be a broken game file or if you have to struggle to get into the game it might be connection issues, the 3rd pin can help with that too
