it happened to me long time ago with other game, that games in fullscreen, behaved as if vsync/60fps was activated... I could never find the problem on the internet and it only got solved when I decided to make a clean reinstallation of the drivers, idk if the same its happening now to you

@high ermine idk but your best options at this point are probably 1. Clean driver install, 2. Delete game settings and/or clean game install.

If it persist and you didn't delete your settings it was probably a settings issue somehow

You can force windowed boarderless with collapse launcher using a startup arg in this menu. So you don't have to use that app anymore (unless you want too)

@high ermine there is a registry edit for genshin fps (which is basically what collapse does for honkai) but there is something about the genshin settings that makes it harder too do. I looked into adding ot once, but a lot may have changed. Neon-nyan, the developer of collapse doesn't play genshin as much.

And having the registry settings edits for honkai was pretty much just cause of me

Cause I wanted to be able to edit my fps and resolution. And the start-up args is so I can run it in boarderless

tbh customer support dont delete accounts, its not really a thing they do. best bet is to unlink the honkai account so its not linked to any hoyoverse account but you'll have to go through some forms to prove account ownership so just be aware of that. good luck tho

i mean i trust the ones that have passed 3rd party audits and stuff for their privacy. i trust them more than my ISP at least lol. its also easier imo to just click connect on an app when honkai is having trouble then explaining to users who dont even know what a file explorer is how to change their dns, and some ISP's dont like custom dns's so theres that (but then again some ISP's dont like vpns either ). idk i just think vpns are easier to not use when not having issues if that makes sense

well as of 6.3 the in game download with the cg playing and stuff afaik only downloads the diff code which is delta updating. maybe they're doing it a different way but its basically only updating the parts of the file that are different, and not the whole file itself which is what it was doing before (and what it still does for launcher update)

and idk if its possible to force a "minimum system files" kind of installation since it'll auto detect missing files and force an update. and messing with something on that much of a degree would be against tos im pretty sure

first delete that screenshot please, it has your hoyoverse ID number on it. the hoyoverse account is the one you use to login to the game with but you can click user center at that screen to go to your account page and do things like set your email and stuff. but what you use to log into the game with is your hoyoverse account. the game uses hoyoverse accounts to login and that sounds like your google account is used

fair point, but you also gotta remember that hoyoverse accounts are designed to be like an overarching account. 99% of players have a single hoyoverse account that they can use interchangeably with ALL hoyo products from now and in the future. honkai just is an exception due to it being made before hoyoverse accounts were a thing so you get the occasional hassle with linking it but 99% of players just have one account they can use for everything very conveniently

i know japan would actually be worse, same with india. but either way i know the issue is only with honkai. the problem is that honkai servers are in a different place on the planet than genshin and BA, and if your ISP is misrouting your or routing you through a connection path to honkai specifically that has an issue in the path it will fail where other things are fine

If you have tried literally everything in that pin (except hi3mirror cuz it's temp down until feb 21st) and none of it has helped them the issue is actually just your ISP and using a different one will help.

This is an explanation I wrote a little while ago for why that stuff helps and why it's not a server issue #🔌technical-help message

99.99% positive it's not a server issue. Because if it is then the honkai server is randomly picking One or two people per 10,000 and throttling their download to the point they can't even login. And both their glb server in the USA and their sea server in the Alibaba cloud are both doing the exact same thing save that doesn't really seem possible for how servers work

I wrote it for searching so I wouldn't have to retype that but yeah I read all your messages. That very much sounds like a data center throttling connections here and there during peak times to save bandwidth so they don't have to advertise lower bandwidth while not upgrading their infrastructure

Some do that, advertise for speeds but to get that during peak times they'll throttle random connections for a few minutes to keep everyone at a high average speed

i doubt it as a server issue because the download was also shaking like crazy from 80kb/s to 5mb/s while downloading the client from web browser, but if that is the throttling it can be the case

the interesting point is that it happens now, not in the past 😄 but its also good to remind that after some tutorials on yt i changed a value in registry that made this from 1 or 3 (3 if HD download is selected else 1) to 2

you can always get the .apk from the pins, the mobile .apk link in the 2nd pin always point to the current version of the game so thats 6.4 right now. the links dont change so even if the pin hasnt been updated right after 6.5 comes out you can use the link to update to 6.5 once maintenance starts. but yeah link is in the 2nd pin

ah well is see the issue right there. a combo of below the minimum requirements for RAM plus an iGPU. if you had a dedicated GPU with 2GB or more then you might have been able to do ok with 6GB of ram but since you have an iGPU which uses your regular ram as VRAM you are just simply running out of hardware resources and the game is crashing

games minimum requirements is 8GB of RAM and a semi modern gpu with 2GB of vram at a bare minimum. 6GB of ram being shared between games ram usage and graphics usage isnt enough basically.

and i know its not always broken. but that issue is being caused by not enough resources to properly render the game

you could attempt to update your graphics drivers since they are almost as old as the game, 5 years old. but i cant guarantee that it will improve anything

on the first form its asking for a game screenshot for the account ownership, and its asking so many question for the account ownership prove
i've answered all the question, put all my very recent screenshot of the game (by the time im sending the form, the screenshot was like from 6-9 month ago), and somehow its got rejected.

and the second form its just asking a very few question and does'nt even asking for a screenshot for account owner prove, and its got rejected

and i've tried again for the third time it got rejected again

and now on the way for the forth time.

I gotcha, to be honest what they do is take what you send them in the form and compare it with the account data/history and if it doesnt match or is inaccurate thats why they reject it. the form did change over time and also different teams (hoyoverse vs honkai support) use different forms but they only reject it because your answers were too innacurate to go above their threshold to prove account ownership. Its just their policy and stuff, they dont enjoy saying no because they do a lot of times get really angry responses but if the account ownership isnt 100% proven they cant just give whoever is asking the account access.

all i can advise is to try again and try to be as literally accurate as possible, if you're not 100% certain on some things like when you started playing and stuff i have some tips. and for locations of when you made the account, at the very least put the city, state/province and country. that kind of stuff. if asking for a device model of what you made the account on, give the exact model or if the pc then give the motherboard model or cpu brand at a minimum. stuff like that

well the provide what emulator you used, maybe if you remember what emulator version it was you can get the default emulated phone type, etc. but that kind of unknowing is probably why it got rejected. if they look on their end and see the account was created on a samsung a12 (old emulator type for example) and you put, "idk pc" then that clearly wouldnt match.

So i updated the game. When i opened it and downloaded in-game files it failed during verification and retried multiple times and then suddenly one it time it just crashed. After that whenever i reopened the game it keeps on showing until disclaimer and then mihoyo and then crashes again. So i deleted the game and tried reinstalling but after downloading from launcher it shows game files verification error. Tried restarting pc, reinstalling the launcher, nothing worked. Any fix? yeah they're both on seperate hoyoverse accounts so you cant just merge the two hoyoverse accounts together. if you unlinked the irrelevant genshin account for instance it would still be on a seperate hoyoverse account and you still wouldnt be able to use the same email for both. like i said you can ask customer support if they'll do it but they'd have to basically delete both hoyoverse accounts and then move the two accounts to a new hoyoverse account which they dont really do.

its not that i dont know how to help, i know for a fact that the only people that can help is customer support. I'm just letting you know that they dont really do the king of thing you want so you can try them but be prepared for them to say they cant do that

you cant, only customer service has the ability to "unlink" stuff from hoyoverse accounts. what they really do is delete the hoyoverse account and in the case of genshin accounts they have to also transfer the game data to a hoyoverse account that you can access.

i guess if your honkai account was originally made in the mihoyo account system before hoyoverse accounts you could go to account.hoyoverse.com and click delete the hoyoverse account, wait the 30 days for it to get actually deleted and then do account retrieval on the honkai login screen to link your honkai account to the hoyoverse your genshin is on. though this method will only work if your genshin hoyoverse does not currently have a honkai account linked to it AND if your honkai was made on the old mihoyo account system

I don't know which channel to ask for this, because this seems like a tricky problem. Recently I downloaded honkai again and logged in with hoyoverse account (I retrieved account from mihoyo log in when that issue came around), I made sure to switch my server to NA where my main account was. The problem came to be that I had to "restart" whole progress (I logged out of the game client immediately so u wouldn't make a new account when I saw the cutscene), I searched through friends, but my main honkai account was just fine, not hacked or anything, I just couldn't log in through my normal log in. I contacted the cs, they reccomended to try again through account retrieval button, but that doesn't work since my account is already licked to hoyoverse log in and it says mihoyo account with that log in "doesn't exist". Is there anything I could do??
