1. there could be a lot of reasons why you cant login with your email. to be able to help understand that one I'll need to know what exactly you're logging into and are you using a new/old/alt email because you've mentioned logging into account.hoyoverse.com and genshin and honkai and resetting your password so I'll need to know which email address you are referring to and what you're typing in.

2. for the forgot password, first go to account.hoyoverse.com and MANUALLY TYPE, do NOT use auto fill and do NOT copy paste your email address that you got a genshin mail on on Dec 22. if it does not work then let me know exactly what the error message is. a screenshot would be appreciated.

3. the form you are filling out is meant to prove that you are the genuine owner of the account and so it asks a bunch of stuff that cannot be looked up and only the owner would know like which model of phone used to create the account or if you made any purchases and give to receipts for them. there is no way we can help with that form it has to come from memory or from the account owner.

with that being said the only way we can help is if you dont actually need to unbind anything with hoyoverse and stuff so whats the error message you get when you do the forgot password on account.hoyoverse.com? does it say the account does not exist?

also when you first contact hoyoverse support did they mention that your hoyoverse account used an email login that you dont recognize?

the hoyoverse account has your friends old email address on it. that is a fact

so with that in mind, the reason the forgot password is not working is because that email address, the ak*****@gmail.com one is NOT the email address linked to the hoyoverse account and only customer support has access to get rid of that. so you have to go through customer support, no one here has the access to do this for you so it has to be through customer support.

customer support however isnt going to just "give" you the account because they dont know for sure that you're the account owner, you could be a hacker or someone really upset at losing to you in rankings claiming to be you to get your account and blackmail you or something so they first have to prove that you are the genuine owner of the account, thats where the form comes in so they can prove that you're the genuine owner of the account.

for them to process this and give you the account you have to answer all the questions on the form accurately. if it asks what model of phone that was used to register/create the hoyoverse account, you have to answer correctly otherwise when they go to compare your answers to what they have on record it wont match and that looks sus so they wont give you access to the account. so do what you have to do to get the answers but they must be accurate

but thats the thing, it was never "your" account. yes your friend let you use it but part of the reason the chances are low is because you were never the genuine owner of that account.

both of these things are direct results of account sharing which is very strictly not allowed for a lot of reasons including this. this is why its very clear in the terms of service that you agree to never share your account with anyone or accept anyones account.

you both broke the thing you both agreed to upon creating the account and initially logging into any game with it. thats not hoyoverses fault. as far as those sites goes that are selling accounts, for any kind of issue requiring proof of ownership as you have found out. it cannot be done unless the real owner can provide the details. if customer support finds out that account sharing happened, they will refuse to assist because it it literally against TOS

im done explaining why breaking TOS means doing things the proper way is harder

in case it is the last one, sometimes the game just get bugs in some events but it resolves itself with the daily reset,
in case it is not that, you would have to communicate with CS about the bug, you can do it either in-game (AI-Phone) or by email.

if you extracted the files, you can try to tell the launcher where you put them (Launcher options - search for game files - select the folder with BH3.exe inside)
if not, you need to start the download in the launcher, then close it,
go to \Honkai Impact 3######\Games and delete the 7z.tmp file if is present and put the already download 7z file in there(do not extract)
run the launcher

I'm not sure why it's doing that but what's happening is that the phone is checking in the server which thinks it doesn't have everything. Maybe if you're always using a VPN to a different or something that it thinks it's a different device but idk why it's doing that. I do know that on PC you can copy all the assets over to a new installation folder and it'll "download" but it will download 0 and let you in cuz it has everything.

Once you point the launcher to the right folder the very first time you click on it it'll say "get game" but it'll just unzip the files from the download .7z and then go to lunch game

Or it'll check for files and then go to launch. If it goes to redownload then the launcher is not pointed to the right folder

It needs to be looking at the same folder your bh3.exe file that works. Also make sure that you downloaded the glb version because epic does not do the sea version

It's not unlinked, it literally says your account is linked to a HoYoverse account. You cannot link another one.

Either you are logging in on wrong server (check NA/EU) or logging in to wrong HoYoverse account.

well to be honest if the issue is your driver then honkai didnt do anything but coincidentally be the last thing you were playing when it happened, it does take a bit out of your graphics so if its an old card or something it could be straining it but its probably just a coincidence

Unless your main purpose of this new phone is to play HI3, I think better to get what you like instead. You see one of the main reasons the updates are always more than 5gb is because the default bgm audio file is a big like 4 gb .pck file that any time they add a new song to the main bgm file the whole thing gets redownloaded

though i guess if your computer has pending windows updates then yes do those and restart since that could in theory keep the launcher from updating right

oh i see, sorry when you said file i thought you meant a file not a folder. so tbh like i said earlier, your folder structure is super jank and thats why this is happening. pretty much everything should be in the honkai impact 3 sea folder. do you want to manually move things around where they need to be or are you ok with redownloading about 10GB?

if you want to manually move things around let me know because you need to do more than just put everything in the honkai impact 3 sea folder

if you want to redownload then here is what you'll need to do.

1. delete honkai impact 3 sea folder and the games folder from your BH3_Data folder
2. copy EVERYTHING in your D:\honkai folder to somewhere else, like D:\temp or some random other folder.
3. go to where your launcher.exe file is at but this time run uninstall.exe and uninstall it. then make sure there is no honkai folder in C:\program files and also make sure that D:\honkai is empty.
4. download the launcher from this link https://api-os-takumi.mihoyo.com/event/download_porter/link/bh3_os/pcsea/default and when you first click on it to run it BEFORE you click install. in the bottom left corner there is the installation folder, click on that to change it to D:\honkai.
5. let it install and then run the launcher, it will download the 9GB thing. once that is done CLOSE the launcher.
6. then copy your game data (the folder with BH3.exe in it that you copied somewhere else in step 2) to the D:\Honkai\Honkai Impact 3 sea\Games folder (if it is not there then create new folder and call it Games) if it asks to replace anything just allow it to replace any same named files.
7. open launcher, go to settings and repair game files to make sure that anything that may have gotten missed gets downloaded.
8. open game and profit

it sounds like a lot of steps but it'll save you around a 13GB download later

so your computer does indeed have plenty to run the game, but for whatever reason, the december 5th nvidia driver has had some issues with honkai graphics especially in the more demanding areas like ER so i would recommend first seeing if there is a newer one and if so try that and if it still doesnt work then i'd recommend uninstalling that driver and installing a previous one than the december 5th one, like one from november or something
