if you sent it to honkai support then it should have gotten a reply within a few days tbh. if you sent it to hoyoverse support then at most like a few weeks. so make sure that you're sending it to the right place [e-mail] and resend it

yes, after you submit the form just reply to the last email they sent you and say that you filled out the form and ask for another one to do the unbinding for the other account. Please note that when you are filling out form 1 and form 2 that you ONLY put info related to the account that you give the UID of at the top of the form. so for instance the form that you use to unbind the accidentally created new account. for the fields that ask for the old mihoyo login info, the new account doesnt have that so you need to put NA or [e-mail], stuff like that

oh by the way, i did a little more digging and these are most of the files that got updated when my test honkai installation did an updating settings. the game was fully up to date and i closed it immediately after logging in and getting the news box so none of these are from doing stages or going into character profile. so it looks like the updating settings is updating/redownloading this stuff. just figured i'd share since you were curious and all that. all in all the files totaled to around 10 MB

if your specs are at or below the minimum, then i personally recommend low settings on 30 fps

for maximum stability and lack of lagging/stuttering/black screening in the higher graphics levels

wdym? if your hardware is at the minimum requirements then turning the graphics settings up and the fps up will strain your hardware more than its capable of and the game will start being unstable and bugging out

less of that and more of powerVR is straight up incompatible with honkai. they didnt design the game to work with it and it will almost always cause the game to crash a lot

but yes it is very budget gpu so even if no crashes it wont run the game well due to being weak

I need help, today i was trying to all day to install the game but its getting the same message error "game files download error, try again later" i already re-installed the game, tried installing it in another hd, even tried using Epic Games and normal launcher and nothing happens, someone know how to fix it?

the hoyolab single sign on with the cached credentials is on your non-main chrome profile. maybe try clearing your browsing history (check EVERYTHING in the advanced tab and set the time range to last 24 hours or) and then after clearing data restart your computer and then try again on your main chrome profile?

The username you are putting in has special characters which aren't allowed so that's but the right username. Or the email address has a space at the end. If you can't remember the username or her the email working then email customer support with your UID number and they'll help #how-to-contact-cs

1. Download DDU and the driver, and extract them
2. Restart PC to safe mode
3. Run DDU, uninstall AMD graphics driver (choose the restart option)
4. After restart, run Nzsetup.exe (i think i forgot the file name) in the extracted driver folder
5. Just follow what it tells you to do

i think that's a simple and terrible summary, but should be understandable

yeah cuz honkai uses xinput from windows which some of the newer brand-name models dont really use so windows has the tools to use them. but honkai controller support is still pretty new and non-existent for the android crowd which is their biggest consumer base i think so they just used the basic xinput which will work for pretty much most controllers

but either way if you dont wanna use wired, try some of the stuff in that link to get it to work

and if none of those work, you can contact customer support via email and ask for advice, maybe they have a custom patch or trick or something to get ps5 controllers specifically to work

try checking for windows updates and then restarting your computer regardless if there are any pending or not (obviously if there are any pending then do them lol) if restarting doesnt do anything then it sounds like a connection issue, if you have a VPN then try that (if you dont have a VPN then proton VPN is free and plenty fast for honkai)

your pc can easily run the game so its not a hardware issue. I'd recommend checking for windows updates first, (not just looking but actually check the check for updates button) and applying any that are pending and restarting your computer.

Terscale graphics have issue with mihoyo games (especially houkai)

so the short answer as to why its crashing is because your GPU does not have enough VRAM to render the game

and its graphics is years older than the game when it first came out, and the game has gotten dramatically more high end since then.

your windows version number doesnt even support DirectX 12 which the game uses heavily. as for why its happening now.. well you need 2GB to render characters which is why it crashes during the selection screen and the APHO open world is more graphically intensive than the rest of the game (or more specifically, APHO, ER and all open world story chapters.)

idk why your device worked before but it was a fluke cuz your device is below the minimum requirements. in several categories

like you can try lowering the graphics as much as possible in the settings but theres nothing you can do that will guarantee it wont crash ever

No, what they're saying is that you can link your email address to the same hoyoverse account that uses your Twitter, the one that customer support said your honkai is on. You don't need to do account retrieval. Just link an email address to the same hoyoverse that uses your Twitter and then use the email address to log into the game. That will get around the Twitter login error message you got

that does sound like a connection issue. the fastest way to fix that is to simply close the game, connect to a VPN and then open the game. if you dont have a VPN then proton VPN is fast, has a free option and has good privacy policies

You can only bind a honkai account to a new hoyoverse amount of it's not currently bound to anything. You can try but don't log into the game unless you get a link success message during account retrieval. You'll probably have to contact customer support again. the mentioned above CGIs were downgraded for likely a storage-related reasons, yet the gains are minimal and loss in quality's noticeable

I mean in genshin if you don't visit an older area it's a waste if space too and in honkai older stages are reused to get battlesuit fragments. But you can after doing the older stages reinstall the game and not install those stages ever to save on space. And the lowering the cg quality saved around 3 GB which is about 1\6th of the total game size which is not insignificant.

But this channel is not for arguing or ranting\reviews, more technical assistance and advice so I'm just going to point out that you can get rid of stuff without too much trouble and that the cgs used to take up 3gb more than they do now. But I do agree that the lowering in quality was unwanted

If you notice the login dialog and in-game announcement part, those are getting handled by ZFGameBrowser

For EOSOverlayRenderer, it's for handling any communication from Honkai to Epic's API such as anything related to Epic Store.

In fact, Genshin also uses ZFGameBrowser as well

And yes, Genshin != Honkai so we cannot make that as a comparison. Keep in mind that this game is older than Genshin.

The issue is something in between you and honkai servers is throttling your connection. VPN routes you a different way so you just avoid the issue

But for example the issue could be cause by a Comcast internet exchange data center somewhere between you and honkai. It's up to Comcast to fix it

Sorry I'm currently driving like a very long way so I can't check discord often but since they're both on the same WiFi all I can think of is that your router is routing the connections differently assuming you're connecting to the same server on your phone. If you can't restart your router then a VPN should fix it. If not then a screenshot might help in case the network timeout error has a check details and really means something else
