Any opinions on WuWa vs. ZZZ? Looking to pick up a 3rd game currently main HI3 and HSR.

My biggest point of interests are 1. Lore/Story 2. Character Development 3. Gameplay.

What do u farm or aim for in the open world tasks I maxed all the sp valks
I typically only take EX missions with 2 phase shifters and crystals but I’m not hitting 5 of those every reset

Zzz has a very good start to the story characters have great expressions, voice and physics(if u know what I mean) unfortunately after a while the story get boring, end game has the same issues as hsr over the top hp inflation and resets that hard sell the newest unit enemies feel like sponges(simple movement a lot of hp)
Wuwa the story does start slow and kinda throws a lot of lore terms in the beginning but definitely gets better as the story progresses end game resets yes shill the new character but they do sprinkle in other buffs that work with characters too enemies r a lot faster animations can get too flashy sometimes and that can get in the way
My options is do u wanna explore and open word cause If your not interested a majority of wuwa will feel like a chore

Following Part 2, the combat in HI3 imo looks a lot better (aerial combat, Astral Ops, character kits, boss mechanics, etc.) I think the only thing ZZZ has is the parries which look cool but other than that it looks pretty similar to HI3 Part 1 combat(?)

I think from an outsiders perspective WuWa gameplay looks better (character kits + boss mechanics)

I've heard ZZZ story has been all over the place since they shot themselves in the foot by removing TV mode (despite all the initial complaints) and that Proxies feel kinda pointless(?)

tbh these people are meming, hi3 is more stagnant that it was in the past in its peak, but it is by no means going eos or dying. there are millions that still play, and the game routinely ranks pretty high on gacha game revenue lists.

its just a combination of theres a lot more big gacha games out there than there was 5 years ago (the other hoyoverse games, wuwa to name a few) and that a decent amount of people stopped playing after part 1 ended becuase they were only there for that story. but theres still plenty of people that play and love the new story and the game while not as fast paced with its content updates as it was back when none of those other games were around and this game was in its prime, its still doing just fine.

This channel though is pretty dead in this server mostly because you cant share pictures in here so most people go to #🎮honkai-chat or #off-topic-discussion depending

I was around when the global servers in an even older hoyo game ggz ended and they were very upfront with why they closed the global servers (it was because the company licensed to run the glb servers just was not getting enough money to keep the servers and translation services paid, so it was just what it was) but they still sent out quite a few very visible announcements about it, months in advance so basically as long as people keep playing and keep paying to pay the servers and employees, hi3 still has a lot more story to tell and all that

Question for anyone who plays ZZZ do Belle/Wise feel really self-inserty like Traveler and Stelle/Caelus where there's barely any voiced lines and no character development? (I haven't played ZZZ yet)
