As the server has been growing and as we have made our recent changes to how the XP system works and is easier to attain, we decided to turn off the notifications to DMs from the bot. You may turn them on for yourself with the command down below:

@languid coral has been working hard on providing a more efficient ban appeal system over the past few months. We have now released a new ban appeal system which we will be using rather than the spreadsheet. If any bans occur, you will now be retroactively be able to see if your appeal was approved or denied as opposed to the spreadsheet.

I'd like to say a big thanks to Cattu for coding this as it will make the user experience much better on the server

As a lot of you have already noticed, we had removed embed perms and picture perms in #⬫┆gameplay-discussion due to complete misuse the other day.

We locked it behind the following perms so it's easier for all of you to follow up on ( #⬫┆welcome will be edit soon™️ )

Embed perms : Level 5+
Picture perms: Level 10+

Side note: #⬫┆pets has been changed from level 5 to level 1 in order to be more welcoming and less restrictive.

Hey there everyone,

As #⬫┆esports-discussion has been used to talk about the World Cup and that's not really the place, we've gone ahead and added #1048700769337086012 for the moment while the World Cup runs. We will remove it afterwards. It is temporary. No thread was made as visibility on channels is much easier than threads being mainly about "knowing it's there".

Another changed that wasn't noted a month or two ago was that stream perms were reduce to level 5 from 10 in order to reward activity better.

As the World Cup has come to an end, we will be removing the channel on Sunday. I'd like to thank everyone that participated in the discussion about this there.

Additionally, as some of you have been asking around, moderator applications should be available sometime in January. We are waiting after the holidays to set this up and everything. As the server feedback has been piling up and as the reviewal has been going on, we will make changes accordingly to the server as time goes on.

We appreciate all sort of feedback in the form we had submitted and keep it going in #⬫┆discord-feedback . The level 100 role should be there soon as well.

Hey there everyone,

As the community becomes more and more active, we decided to make the level 100 role called Veteran. With that, we added another VC called Retirement Home for those in here.

Additionally, we added URF and ARAM VCs so that players can feel a little more comfortable when entering VCs without needing to read every channels.

AS FOR THE SEA ROLE and other region roles, it's coming VERY soon, we're just waiting on bot updates to be done and then we can add assignment for the roles. The perms are already done, we're already at last step.

They are more generalized so you may have to specify your server in those channels as there are a lot less people from those servers than others (avoid channel clog). We want to take a minute and address the Cookielol situation. As many of you have heard, a popular League of Legends player was recently revealed to be participating in sexual misconduct (including towards a minor), scamming, abusive behavior, and other inappropriate behavior.

We know this is something that the community wants to discuss, but these are not topics that are appropriate here. We are 13+ and affiliated with Riot Games so we hold to their standards. We ask that you don't discuss the Cookie drama, insult the user, defend the user, or the like. It's not a good situation and we don't need to be talking about it here. As such, we will be appropriately moderating any discussions about Cookielol and the associated behaviors.

We will take this time to reinforce to the community that our rules and guidelines are here for a reason, mostly to protect others and provide a safe, fun, enjoyable environment. No one is exempt from rules that protect others whether they be regular users, new users, popular people, or even moderators. We've had some interesting discussions both internally and with community members of the server about the way certain channels and subcommunities on the server flow. Noticeably, we've had issues with people feeling as if #1080303530314833940 is both under-moderated and cluttered, as well as conflicts on how #1097359599687975062 as a community communicates and engages in the server overall. After careful consideration, we're going to implement a few changes both in rules and in channel structure to correct some pain points in the community.

Gameplay:
RarityIcon We've decided to turn # Gameplay-Discussion into #⬫┆gameplay-discussion, a channel where you can talk about Gameplay, but ALSO talk casually. Laid-back LoL based conversation that may go off topic sometimes, but is generally LoL related even in a loose, tangential way.
We've created #1097359599687975062, a forum channel where you can create a forum and facilitate an on-topic, in-depth discussion about anything gameplay related. (Tags are temporary and simple, we'd love feedback on what tags would be welcome in #⬫┆discord-feedback!)

Fanart:
RarityIcon We have turned #1080303530314833940 into a forum channel as well, to allow all art to have the time to shine and for users to be able to filter what they want to see!
We have removed the requirement for fanart posted here to be LoL related. Instead, we simply ask you to tag your post as 'Non-LoL Art'

We are going to be keeping an eye out on these channels to see how they go, and make changes and improvements as the days and weeks go on to assure that we continue to cater to and help our community engage with each other better.

Hey there everyone, we decided to make some changes on the server to clean up the low usage channels and to make it easier to navigate through. As for the changes made, the LFGs for OCE, SEA and Wild Rift have been removed due to a very low amount of messages leading to a very low usage. We tried to take the feedback in the past for those, unfortunately, the usage remained very low. We''ve tried to keep "other servers" as well, that did not work either. The #831557775158018159 channel has been moved to discussions channels.

We decided to re-add the customs channels to our server. With this in mind, we're adding a couple of things in it in order for it to not become an advertisement spam. It is totally fine for you to invite other members to your discord server, however, we don't want you to spam invite people when custom games aren't happening. This is an LFG, not just poaching members for later. We expect every communities who use our LFG to follow through with our rules in terms of zero tolerance, this should include racism, homophobia, transphobia, such (you get it, if you need to ask, you probably shouldn't advertise your community here).

Hey everyone,

Thanks to your valuable feedback, we've added a Votekick bot to help manage our LFG channels. If someone is refusing to leave a voice chat, breaking our rules, or being disruptive, you can now initiate a votekick. This will prevent them from rejoining the specific VC for an extended period.

To start a votekick, simply type /vk followed by the user's name or ID, for example, /vk beginning. The number of votes required for the votekick to pass will be displayed in #⬫┆bot-cmds and all members of the voice channel will be notified there.

Additionally, there's a GIF pinned at the bottom by the bot that shows you how to initiate a votekick with just a right-click.

<@&718298575255109663> To clarify since there was some confusion. The paid coaching would be something we are monitoring, we will vet coaches, and have rules they and the trainee must follow. This won't be a free for all sort of deal. We have rules to keep everything civil and flowing properly.

The goal from having this interaction would be to allow for more opportunities for players.

Further clarification, the coaches are not staff members aka they won't have moderator abilities. The only "role" they would have is "Coach" allowing them to post their "ad's" in a special section.

As our server continues to grow, we've been investing more into our bots and developers. Since the server isn't generating profit yet, we’re introducing Server Subscriptions to help cover our operating costs. This will allow us to maintain the server without everything coming out of pocket, ensuring we can keep improving events like trivia, tournaments, art contests, and more without relying solely on Riot Games for prizing.

Benefits of Server Subscription

Subscribing gives you perks such as permissions typically earned through Beemo's XP system, XP boosts, and Honey boosts. We're also considering additional features like a VC creation bot (similar to the TFT bot), but that's still under discussion. More details can be found in #⬫┆monetization .

What is Honey?

Honey is a free Beemo module that allows you to purchase exclusive roles in the shop (/honey shop view). These roles are unique and can only be obtained this way. By purchasing any of the monetization roles or boosting the server, you can earn Honey faster. For more info, check out #⬫┆beemo .

Clarification

Please note that purchasing any server roles or perks will not exempt you from server rules. We will not tolerate rule-breaking, even if you have a paid role. Paid members will not receive preferential treatment in appeals either. More details on this are available in #⬫┆monetization .

We have updated our Honey roles to be a lot more affordable for all of our members, All of the roles have been heavily lowered.

Everything (besides Yuumi Hater) -> 7500 Honey.
Yuumi Hater -> 7000 Honey.

With this change, we have also refunded the balance to those who had already spent Honey for a role. So if you did want multiple, well, you should have been refunded a lot!

Hello, sorry for the ping but I’m sure a majority of you are aware of scamming on Discord. We’re making this announcement because of a heavy influx of Minecraft scammers who steal Microsoft accounts & other private information. After taking your information, they hold it hostage until you pay a fee.

Please avoid joining any servers that require you to ‘log in’ for ‘verification’. These are called ratters and it’s a spoof webpage that mimics Microsoft login in order to get your credentials.

The main perpetrator is the server MCGamer Network & their main source of reaching out to users is to post in LFGs saying ‘lf duo 18+, lf minecraft, lf chill duo’. While these users may not all be scammers, please remain vigilant and do not join any servers or log onto anything for ‘verification’ unless you are absolutely certain of the safety of said website/server.

Additionally, we’ve done some early exploration on region roles inspired by the regions of Runeterra, as suggested in the feedback channel. If we implement region roles, we would remove color from all of the rank roles. Region roles would be the primary source of vanity name colors. I’m including a screenshot of some of the early exploration we’ve done; please remember that it is not final. Hey Guys -- We've heard your feedback. There's been a bit of a boost to the EXP system.
You may notice a few changes -- the first of which being the difficulty curve has been adjusted.
Exp is now 25% easier to obtain (Just about). You'll notice that your level has been adjusted to reflect this as well, so whatever exp value you were at has been kept, but your level in server has been changed to reflect that value meaning more.

Along with this change in experience gain are a few other alterations.
» Level 25/50/75 members can now attach files (image perms). (Finally. I know.)
» Level 50/75 members retain streaming permissions, and can also embed links.
I know that these changes have been a long time coming. Please take it slow and try not to spam images. I know it's very exciting 👀

Aside from that, one last change.

✨ Important Announcement ✨

TL;DR, it has come to our attention that a decently large amount of accounts have been compromised. This includes usernames and passwords.

What does that mean?

» It means that your information to log into your game may be possibly compromised. If a user enters your account they can get it banned, use saved payment methods to buy things, etc.

What Regions do this affect?

» From what little we know, this affects basically every region, though the pressing ones are NA, EUNE, and EUW. Regardless, to be safe, we're advising everyone to change their username and password if possible.

Is my name in this leak?

» For the security of everyone, we will not be digging/reading through these leaks. They've already been removed on our end for your safety, but please change your information as soon as possible, regardless if you were compromised in this specific breach or not.

Where did this come from?

» We were made aware of this from a user sending us an alert showing a lot of compromised account information. This was deleted immediately to protect safety. :)

Hey guys!

We don’t typically make announcements of anything unless they’re important, but this is something that definitely deserves to be known by the community. As everyone knows, Riot Games has been the owner of this server since it’s conception back in 2018 or so. Starting today, this Discord will be a fully community-run server. Riot will still be around in an advisory position for us, so we’re still working with them, but the server is now in the community’s hands.

Don’t worry! The server won’t be radically changing overnight or anything, but you may see some small quality of life changes as we figure out what direction we want to go from here.

✨ Server Changes ✨
You might've noticed some new server changes! Though small, we wanted to outline them for you all.

Emotes

» We removed all of the champions from our emote pool. It was taking up around 60%-70% of our emotes, for only 4-5 of them to be commonly used. This will allow us to add stickers, emotes from the game, and other fanart/fanmade content to better embrace the community! We've already added around 15-20, and will be adding more through this weekend!

Clash LFG

» With Riot, we were very specifically for 'NA'. Now that we are community, we are happy to say we're going to be giving more support to other regions for Clash! So far it's just EUW/EUNE, but we will be adding more support in the future as other regions get Clash and the demand goes up for LFG to be necessary here.

Role Assignment

» This is a surprise one! We're working on a cleaner #809654688231325696, which also comes with opt-out roles for server notifications (no more @here and @everyone unless ABSOLUTELY necessary), as well as opt-in roles to get notifications when Clash goes live in different regions.

We have more stuff coming in the future, but this is everything we have prepared to share and is close enough to being done to justify sharing! tlFrogVibe

Hey guys! We're happy to announce that we're going to be adding a minecraft server to our discord server, in collaboration with @nocturne osprey!

The server is survival multi-player. To access this server, you will need to be level 5 in this discord, and will need to link your discord account to your minecraft account upon loading in by direct messaging @ocean shore a code that will be provided to you upon first time connection to the minecraft server. If you are banned from the league server, you will no longer be able to access the minecraft server.

You should also be able to connect to the server with either edition of minecraft -- be it Java or Bedrock.

Java users can connect with play.official.lol

We're looking for some fresh faces to help out with moderation as we grow and require more hands on deck at different timezones (and in general). Over the past few weeks we've been discussing about EXP changes with @signal ore to make activity feel much more rewarding as there was a lot of feedback given to us in #⬫┆discord-feedback on how it took too long to have any perks, notably streaming. We've made adjustment to make it feel easier to get everything on the server for active members and newer members.

With so much time needed to be spent on the server with our current perks with EXP roles, we've decided to tone it down a bit and restrict a few more things. For moderation purposes, embed links will now be at level 5, no more GIF spams from new accounts! To make members more incentive to be active, we've upped the #⬫┆streams channel to level 5 as well. This change is to give our somewhat active members a chance to post their stream and have it viewed rather than members who join 20 Discords just to post their stream and never talk.

Other than those main changes, all of the other changes are just being lowered in order to reward member activity. You can see the changes down below.

This means that if you'd like to see LFG channels for the NA servers, you have to have the NA role assigned to you from #809654688231325696. Same goes for EUNE and EUW.

In the future, we want to provide more server LFG support for the server, but want to avoid an abundance of clutter. This change will allow us to provide these services, while also avoiding things like spam, people using the wrong region channel, and will make your experience in the server more enjoyable.

Hey there everyone,

Here's a small update on the server changes coming up.

As we keep looking through #⬫┆discord-feedback and talk about the feedback provided by all of you, some of you may have already noticed that we have bumped Club Zero One to the size of 15 rather than 10 and moved it above general VCs. The general VCs have not been changed for moderation ease.

As a lot of you guys have been asking for the <@&750034375298777088> role we're still in the talks of whether we'd lower stream permissions or keep it to level 20 to make it so that the role isn't asked for 24/7 so that our active members don't feel like it was given freely while they had to work hard for it. This one is still in consideration in the back, decisions have not been made yet.

As we can all agree that #703342305293369416 is mainly NA (mostly #⬫┆na-normals . We are looking to make the channels locked by role and both EUW and EUNE LFGs locked by region role. Please grab a region role before the change is implemented if you wish to keep using the LFG. Likewise, it'll still be in #826442023019348028 even after. This change is planned, though has not been implemented yet. We are still going around checking all of the permissions with those roles in order to make that change.

On behalf of the moderation team, thank you all for your feedback in order to make this server a better place. We appreciate all feedback given and look forward to making this server a better place for everyone. We're happy to announce that we will be creating an event staff team to better facilitate events moving towards the future. We have had excellent reception for tournaments in the past and so we would like to make them more routine on the server. For this though, we will need members that are willing to put time into these events to ensure that they are run smoothly and professionally.

Our events will not be restricted to tournaments alone, either. This team will be in charge of running any community events on the server, and will likely vary quite a bit, such as our Seraphine karaoke nights, or our in-houses. These events will not always be directly related to League of Legends either, as we have done in the past, but we are primarily looking for users that are interested in running tournaments right now.

1️⃣ ** Regional LFG is out now!** Just like with our Clash LFG channels, we have channels specifically for NA, EUW, EUNE, and OCE for LFG purposes. Additionally, we have also made it so you can navigate the whole server using your region role as verification instead of Runeterran Citizen, so we'll be looking into if we want to retire that role entirely or... we'll figure it out. amegablobsweats

Over the last few days and for the foreseeable future our online family in the Ukraine is seeing significant threats to their safety and nation as they face invasion. We must do everything we can to support them and ensure they are safe, and gather together to think of all of the ways in which we can help during this significantly dangerous event.

To users currently in Ukraine or otherwise affected by the ongoing conflict
• Get in contact with all of your friends and family as soon as possible and check on them as much as possible. Know where they are at all times.

We're going to avoid wanting to go into huge detail on the political happenings of the current situation outside of this message -- we know a lot of people are doomscrolling/anxiety induced/scared, and want to continue for LoL to be a place to mentally refresh/recharge from those heavy discussions and anxiety. We ask to keep things light, look out for each other but avoid getting into the inner politics and complexities and allow this to be a resting spot for those who need the time to process refresh from these dark times. Mentioning the situation, checking in on friends, supporting each other, and wishing the best to those is encouraged, but sharing videos/links of articles that depict distressing content, as well as jokes/political commentary on NATO and the situation as a whole will be moderated to keep this place as distress-free as possible. Hey there everyone,

A lot of changes has come to the server recently (whether you have or haven't noticed) and a lot more is to come. We're looking to improve the server experience for the community as a whole and so that everyone, including newer members feel more welcome in here!

Within these changes, we've had a lot of complaints about experience feeling very slow and hard to earn. We decided to lower the cap per level (so if you've already seen a bit boost in terms of level recently, it's because of that). We've also lowered the cooldown for chatting/being in voice calls for experience! Permissions to stream have been lowered to level 10 on top of that.

What's next to come?

More events and more community implication!
