I made a lurker rework thing a few months ago and now I can’t even access my own thread. I basically said it would fit better as a cupid advance where it would know all players who didn’t belong to any multi person team (eg village/ww/sect and you’d be forky if u had no allies at the start of the match)
so like would know all at the beginning and if any of these roles win, then lurker also wins is the general idea. and the secondary is that lurker can select a dead and steal their role as would have nothing else if all of its potential teammates died. Could be a great alternative than as only has one advance and also gets rid of the major problems like asking to be shot as and siding with solo roles is really the only thing that makes it unique from the rest of the third party trees

I think the mayor problem is that you can’t win if you aren’t attacked and you can’t actually force getting attacked. I think best would be that lurker would have a primary win condition until someone attacks him and then he has the win condition of the team who attacked him

they tried to make it part of the role to convince the team who has the advantage to attack you, which has a lot of flaws to it. they tried to make it align to cursed so hard but imo no need to force it. attack by vill means begging for shot and attack by ww well why not play cursed then, or wwf. lurker should really be an exclusive ally to solo roles, they deserve to be able to have a chance to win fairly and lurker deserves to have fun siding with the underdogs of the village 🙂

Maybe the best thing would be to make lurker win if solo-voter wins. If they get attacked by wolves or rk they change to their team.

So solo voter would have an ally. And rk and wolves would also have the option to get an additional teammate if they need it
