If we speak about Splatoon spawn camping I think it depends on the mode. In turf war I think it is part of the mode to ink every spot and if you can also the enemy spawn which includes that you need to splat the enemies after they lose their spawn protection. But at ranked it is just annoying and nobody has a good excuse to do that

I was one of people that made myself a target on purpose to get trolled. Those fucking idiots took the bait and got banned. Those also thought formatting their systems would bypass the bans as well. Turns out that isn't the case, the whole system gets banned and there's no way to bypass it. So in other words, they would have to keep spending money to play online anymore. They haven't showed up in a few months now because they're probably scared we'll get their asses again lol. That's deserved if you're going to ruin the experience for others.
