Is it actually still possible to do C3 so that you do the terminal that doesn't require opening the door to the alternate zone first? I have done it 3 times and every single time no matter which terminal I choose I always have to open both doors for both uplinks.

Ok, this is IMO.
There are four terminals, two "Host" terminals, and two "Client" terminals, the Host terminals being terminals that you start the uplink on, and two clients that you do the second part of the uplink on. The connections between the terminals are already preset, but there's no way of knowing which is which so there's no point talking about it.
There's a 25% chance that one terminal is locked by a password in the forward zone.
That means, there is a 50% chance it is a Host terminal. Therefore, you're in luck, since you can just go to the other terminal and start the uplink.
However, there's a 50% chance it is a "Client" terminal, therefore you must guess and start the uplink on one of the "Host" terminals and see if the corresponding "Client" terminal is locked, and if that is the case you are forced to open the forward spawn.
Therefore, it is a 50% chance you get a "Client" terminal locked, and a 50% chance the uplink will require the locked terminal, resulting in a 25% chance that you are required to go to the forward zone and unlock the terminal.

Why don't people just go to the locked terminal, if an IP pops up you obviously avoid that terminal and the other IP is the working one
Because that locked terminal might be the client terminal

You don't need to check it for that, tho, if it is a host terminal then it just is a host terminal, and therefore just starting an available host terminal is always safe.
If both host terminals are not locked, then it's impossible to tell which one of them links up to the password locked terminal.
You have no way of knowing which client terminal is associated with which host terminal until you actually start the uplink, at which point there's no going back.

The 75% odds thing comes from combining the chances that password locked terminal is a host terminal with the chances that the password locked terminal is a client terminal but you guess the correct host terminal.

I've also tried to spawnblock the other door but is it actually possible? Every time I try to do so somehow there's a place for them to spawn (following the general rule of spawnblocking in GTFO)

I'm actually not quite sure if you can spawn block it. This uplink doesn't follow standard uplink rules, as enemies spawn outside of the zone the terminals are in
the one time I tried to spawn block it they spawned on top of me
You should be able to spawn block on one side as with any alarm.
Make all of the rooms in the side zone 0 or 1 away so that they prefer the other side.
You just have to be careful about spreading out too much (the mechanics tend to break down if players aren't all adjacent to each other).
Good point, perhaps if both two defenders are both outside the terminal zone it will fuck spawns

The booster requires you to have any resource (tool refill pack, medipack, or ammo pack) held out.

Yes. They don't actually spawn until you start opening the door.
Typically, it's around ten or more sleepers and two hybrids.

Does anyone have any tips for B3 / B4? having a lot of trouble clearing these two with my usual GTFO group. on B3 we've gotten to extraction at least once ||but got overwhelmed before finishing thee extraction bioscan due to lack of ammo after our fight during the last security scan.||
Any advice on making it a bit easier is appreciate

yes. i can't tell how resourceful my teammates or being or not but we generally only fire when necessary. There seems to be a lot of scenarios in B3 where we are forced to use guns

Yeah. the chargers are an issue we generally try to speed through as fast as we can until the part where you open the case and the waves stop
but at some point it starts to exhaust our resources, i'm sure that's a factor. i've considered we're going slow but cant see room for improving that
your wepons dont really matter too much unless you struggle crazy
the only thing you can do if ammo its issue is speedrun the error part while conserving as much ammo

and its just a error alarm meaning they spawn 2 rooms away from your team

In GTFO, there's an issue where it's pretty easy to run enemies across the map to buy time or run enemies around an space to hammer them while taking minimal damage.
It's not really cheating. Some people consider it to be cheese, but the reality is that you can't really say you shouldn't do it since every horde shooter has kiting in some amount and in GTFO it definitely should be possible to an extent.
The problem w/ GTFO is that kiting and dodging are incredibly poorly designed, which makes the strategy far too powerful with no limitations for how many enemies you can kite or how long you can kite them.
OK, I'm glad to hear that. I know there are many players like that playing style in deeper zone, and I don't like kiting.
It's just a pretty strong strategy that's not all too hard to execute for most people, and error alarms tend to be balanced around it.
Although I feel like the devs really didn't understand how easy it is to hammer hybrids.

I was playing solo in A1 and was placing down mines for the security door in zone 64 and while placing mines, one of them just randomly exploded and killed me. Is there some chance of having a mine not working or was there something else that could activate the mines?
I forget if this was confirmed but maybe the respawner sacks set off mines

Is the Hel Rifle or Sniper a better secondary to bring? I normally run SMG and bioscanner/ c-foam. (usually in my group, I handle scouts from outside the room if we can’t evade them.)
Depends on the level you're running and how comfortable you feel with those weapons
They're usually a great fit for most levels, but don't particularly perform great in short-range combat
If theres a miniboss bring sniper
the sniper is useful for killing big ones, or monsters with a lot of health
if you make a map with a lot of sleeper the hel rifle is more useful, if you align with the mobs
you might have placed it in an invalid location, when thats the case, they just explode.

With the full release of the game, are we gonna have the countdown appear at the start of the rundown or are we going to keep the current flow with the timer appearing when the devs are ready to release a new rundown

combine with new game mechanic and new enemy add
then the timer would be understandable
Having the constant time pressure looming over you would be nice from the start too tho

I've got a general question that I'm sure has been asked a million times and your all sick of it. But I can't find any solid answer anywhere.
But will passed rundowns be playable when the game leaves early access? What about people waiting for the full game? They'd miss out on content like terminal lore.
It seems crazy to me that someone waiting for the FULL game would find out they missed timed content.

natural enemies are the one that spawns in rooms
they keep spawning, there is a cap tho and there can be not more than a certain amount of mobs at the same time...

It climbs slower than it falls, but it does go up with every artifact you obtain in a different expedition.

yeah, disinfect zone has an infinite disinfect station
The zone is definetly worth it in terms of rescources. No enemies, just one single room filled with resource packs. You will most likely use less for completing the alarm.

Every wave spawn much more frequently, faster than error alarm waves.
Every wave summons less enemies to kill. Large enemies seem to spawn less often in these waves

Should try bringing sniper sentry more often. We really like auto sentry for the staggers lol
unfortunately because of how the warden waves are similar to reactor waves
staggers or delayed kills wont reduce the amount of enemies you need to kill in the long run
but, if you need to control a space to keep enemies from flowing through, combining a sniper and auto in the same spot will really generally block a ton of enemies.

2 people wait in spawn with the cargo and 2 people dive overload to get the hdd
Foam it and damage it. If it survives, have someone with shotgun kill babies as they spawn while everyone else keeps killing it.
Always use your special weapons to kill the birther, as your primary weapons have way less DPS.
Also, certain weapons are better boss killers than others.

Its damage and efficiency per blob make it fine, since you can just reload and fire another round.
Especially when you consider its maximum damage in 3 shots is the same as all 8 shots from pump shotgun. You're essentially able to do double damage if you can reload.

the bonus headshot damage on giant strikers is miniscule on dmr bc of the negative dmr precision and low headshot multiplier on giant strikers

All i'll say is it's related to proximity of enemies and multiple rooms
Unrelated to the biotracker bug but related to bugs, I found this weird bug where I was somehow able to shoot while running. Also, sometimes the weapon bugs out and you can aim while running but not shoot.
I'm guessing this is known?

the main benefit of that is that you are able to reload while running, charge cfoam while running and ping sleepers too
does the snatcher scout scream continousely as long as it is holding the player? so longer grab = more waves spawned? 🤔
Yeah! It feeds off the player's screams of agony and despair because they can't kite anymore, so then the Snatcher Scout screams, spawning huge waves of enemies every 60 seconds.
Its a good thing that it never made it to the game. Apparently it was not working, and it would prolly have taken too much time and manpower to fix! We got so many other awesome thing instead 🙂

being able to shoot while running is caused by revealing anything on the map (signs, lockers, doors, generators, terminals, etc) while sprinting. bio-tracker red-sots are due to enemies two rooms away being unloaded iirc

They've been known since r3 so I don't have high hopes but who knows, host rez got fixed 
maybe whatever they're doing to stop kiting will fix the run-reload

I always though it was a feature! Thinking about it, shooting while running is like, sooo un-realistic! And the red dots that stays, I think it help because it forces you to always be on your guard! I could not leave without it🥰
Hello, I wanted to ask for tips on B3. We're playing as a Duo and we keep getting steamrolled by the first alarm door after Error door, and when we don't by some miracle, we get steamrolled by the Motion Alarm door anyway. We've tried for like a week now, and not much progress has been made.
Does anyone have some tips or strategies or gameplay footage of like a duo doing it?
Because we're at the point where we are questioning if it's our strategy that's bad, or our ability to shoot and dodge is xD

Hello there, i have a question about the game.
For a bit of context, i succesfully brought my friends to buy the game, cause you know, it's damn good. The game is top tier for me, love every bit of it. Nonetheless, this last few months we really have had some hard time with some levels (A2 overload especially) and some friends just don't wanna spend one hour to die anymore. Hence we are only two really willing to tryhard, but not necessarly want to join with randoms (no offense).
So i was wondering why scalling the difficulty was a bad idea ? I tried to search the subject in the discord and only found that it wasn't planned but it would also denature the game.
I would like to be able to do some runs as a duo or trio without being stuck at the first door because it is impossible to do unless you are 4.
What are your take about this ? Is there a way to consider the idea ? How would you make this work ?

there are some misconceptions in there i need to wipe up first.
1: you only need the current party size number of people required for a teamscan
- this whole current rundown has been solo'd
E1 noises.
- if someone isnt willing to tryhard, the party isnt really going to get much further than B or C highs
sad E1 solo'd noises.
- you clearly probably are a tryhard, but realistically, you probably WILL need to play with randoms. Whenever i have people that only play with an insular group of players, i get a lot of "wow that makes a lot more sense, i wish i tried this earlier". you lack integral experience that will simplify your gameplay.
id argue its the opposite, when people tryhard too much at the beginning they fall off at B or C, while the people that play for fun steadily improve
i feel like there's too many variables for you to state that cleanly, when clearly the game is suffering from some matter of player retention issues.

i'd say pulling rooms is essential, along with utlizing choke points etc
a2 became oh so very easy with a good choking killbox and a few pulls
picking your fights, shooting a scout from afar and dealing with aggros is sometimes better than risking a hammer-sneak and a scout wave
Just watch other people play, especially the ones who duo or solo levels (no, I am not talking about the 4 hour long running simulator in e1 solo). The way they do things can help you if you copy their moves to the point you start understanding them.
Largestboy is in my oppinion the best player in gtfo and has already soloed many levels in this rundown
A B tiers you can get through just by being good at combat

it actually pisses me off I haven't had much time to dev on the bot since it's main function is moderation & antispam and it just does a mediocre job at antispam due to them evolving and I haven't been able to keep up. In the ideal world (what I strive for) is that they will post, you might see one or two, but within 5 seconds, the message is gone, deleted, and that's it, that you won't see it spammed in every channel.
The @sinful saddle bot we use for scam / link safety detection has been the target of the spammers/scammers so it's functionality has been a bit reduced/delayed and that bots dev is working on some major enhancements too.

technically the META weapons would be Pistol and Revolver since Revolver and Pistol are the most ammo efficient guns
if your ultimate goal is finishing with leftover ammo
but in that case that's still not true because you would just not kill anything or use things that dont consume ammo
a better meta is probably what gets you to survive most situations possible
i don't know if there has been even one mission i didn't finish with over 50% on both and ammo still left lying around somewhere
