Spear is only best for like four enemy types

Like it oneshots mom tumors at full charge
And it takes out 2/3s of a giants heath to the occiput

So if you're fighting big health enemies with decent weakpoint multipliers, it's pretty good
If you're fighting regular enemies (a lot more common), it's not the greatest

One-shotting a tumor is kind of actively bad. Dealing more damage to the enemy is good, but breaking tumors reduces the available hitbox for damaging them with future hits.

If you could choose between dealing 125.5 damage and 126.5 damage then 125.5 is way way better (Mother's tumors have 126 HP). Both would kill in 8 shots, but one means that your final shots have a ridiculously small hitbox to aim for.

Depends on what level of success DoW has. If it makes more money than GTFO ever did then the chances of a GTFO sequel get much slimmer. If it does bad, then they might consider reworking on the GTFO concept to release a sequel.
