If I may, I think people tend to forget this is a beta game, it is not fully worked out and the people working on it dont have huge backings behind them, for example you have cod or fortnite which are huge worldwide yet you have cheaters there as well...my advice if you are frustrated with it, take a breath step away from it for a day or two and get back

Yeah, moreso I am probably just feeling bitter because he probably knows what to do, when I've had friends for months claim nothing is ever done, there is no point in recording videos, no point in posting in this evrima-eu chat, nothing will ever happen. IMO, "what to do" to report cheaters is really not well defined in this Discord. "please tag the <@&505047238674874368> role with the server you witnessed it on and your in-game name if you are currently witnessing it, so it may be investigated" is probably terrible advice. It seems the only thing that actually sees good action is recording of these people cheating (F2) and then DMing an admin*. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've done what was recommended (ping staff in here) several times with no action. It's also funny that the "don't say offensive things in-game" takes priority in the list over how to report cheaters that arguably ruin everyone's experience worse than the former

in most cases we dont mention when we are investigating. (for example, in this one cheater chasing session, im sure you wouldnt be able to find out how many i have looked at and yeeted, you probably didnt even know i was on) But when you have an f2 recording, its a lot more helpful in the long run. i cant say specifics as to why, but i can say that much. thats why we speek up and search for them

It would probably be better if the recommendation were not to "ping staff" but instead to just DM a staff with the recording, or if there was some official way to submit f2 recordings, or if people were told something was being looked into. I was actually under the belief since I joined this Discord up until today that server administrators would DM you, and then you would have to give them the recording/f2/whatever, not to actually DM administrators
Confusing posts about probably not pinging/DMing developers or something probably put that in my head. Still, it would probably be better if there was a single and more clear way to submit information about cheaters, kind of like there is for bug reports

if you have a way you can suggest, feel free to throw it in #general-feedback. we know what we have isnt perfect (not that we specifically can change it) but it works for what we have. And dming us typically is one of the worse ways to go about reporting a cheater (unless we ask you to) because if you dm one of us who isnt available, then yer report will go no where.

As players, we can only evaluate what we see. And at the moment we are seeing many reports of cheaters, obviously over several days, without any reaction from the admins. There is simply a lack of transparency here for us players to be able to claim the opposite...

Please do not spread misinformation. We do deal with cheaters as often as we're able to. We understand the frustration of dealing with them, we were in your shoes before aswell. And we do apologize for the secrecy we need to work in. However, we do things the way we do out of a must, partially because announcing our presence is never a good idea, and partially because we have signed NDAs.
