though both of their domains are super op, realistically whichever does it first just wins by default

but neither would just pop their domain instantly

• A better overall physique which not only gives him huge stat boosts in all regards, as physique overall impacts CE as well
• A body built for Jujutsu, 4 arms + 2 mouths letting him chant and do hand signs to Amp himself outside of DE
• The obvious implications of 4 arms being a H2H advantage. It also isn't even just that, but Sukuna is simply not used to actually fighting with just 2 hands. Anytime he was in H2H with only 2 hands he got basically walloped, the second he got 4 he was sweeping.
• Kamutoke, funny lightning attacks
• DA
• HWB
• His DE

I think Sukuna using Mahoraga to adopt to Gojo was literally just for funsies.
The dude literally said "Let's strip your scales" and even when he thought he had Gojo on basically the winning point of the fight, he STILL wanted to adapt just for the hell of it.

Not to say Sukuna didn't mess up or didn't try like other people say.
But he certainly didn't fight for the sole purpose of just killing Gojo as easily as possible.

Heian Era Sukuna is vastly more tanky, HWB is a peak anti domain technique and he can STILL fight while having it up.

Sukuna's original strategy of "Oh, this guy is just killing his own brain, let me wait it out until he gives himself brain damage" would have worked out.

The reason it didn't was because throughout the fight he turned off DA multiple times to adapt the IV, which also made Gojo's punches overall more effective, against blocks, etc. That led to him being damaged within the 3 minutes it took for him to destroy Gojo's domain.
Again, they both broke their domains at the exact same time.
Gojobecause it takes sukuba 3m to destroy it, and Sukuna because he got damaged just a little bit too much and had to heal.

And with Heian Era's tankiness + better H2H + DA, I personally don't see Sukuna taking that unnecessary damage from Gojo that makes Sukuna need to heal to either reopen his domain, if his domain is even broken at all

The second Sukuna had an ability that could actually go through infnity tho Gojo was cooked.

And we were shown 2 times prior that Gojo just couldn't react to Dismantle.

In the beginning of the fight, then with Mahoraga

Maybe I worded it badly, but I think Sukuna would've had a much easier time fighting Gojo if he just went straight for killing him as easy as possible and not wanting to have fun by analyzing and wanting to literally just strip Gojo of his CT

Time for me to put my words in on this manga I haven't read all that much!

I understand that Sukuna getting through infinity is pretty much a fight-ender, but when using malevolent shrine he got through it once with his regular cleaves and slashes that it guarantees to hit, and while it messed up Gojo severely, it really didn't instantly kill him or anything. I interpreted it as the world cutting slash just being really really powerful, with it cutting Gojo straight in half, and it practically doing the same to Yuta who would've died if it weren't for Rika shenanigans.

But then again, Higuruma apparently tanked that so maybe I'm just talking nonsense.

Frankly, the only way I see Sukuna fully getting through Gojo's lethal domain is to just... out-domain expansion him. Because if Gojo tosses an infinite void and locks sukuna into the hollow wicker basket, why not just slam him with an amped red, blue or purple while in it.

HWB is really strong, but it's dubious in Gojo's domain since he still has ways of attacking judging by the exposition he gave Yuji when domains were first revealed

Against someone like Mahito, it'd work splendidly, but against Gojo, idk

The simplest reason on why Gojo can't just fire a red or blue is pretty simple ngl.

CT burnout.

Like yeah, he can recover that with RCT, but again, everytime he does it he is effectively destroying his brain doing so.

I could see a Red, but a purple would have quite the long amp-up time.

And I also don't think it takes a lot of time for Sukuna to just pop HWB and essentially do the same binding vow as he did in the second Domain Clash, where he instead touched Gojo to cancel the surehit

And that's also not counting Sukuna applying more pressure with Kamutoke everytime Gojo loses a domain clash.

He immediately knew what to do

Had he at that point forsaken adapting to Limitless and focused solely on just fighting Gojo with DA and his Domain, he wouldn't have taken those hits.

Like, the reason why Sukuna was damaged to bad during the last Domain Clash was because Gojo punched a hole through his chest DESPITE Sukuna blocking the punch.
Because of the blue Amp.

Sukuna broke Gojo's domain at thr exact same time Gojo damaged Sukuna enough to break his, again, purely because of his blue-amped Punches doing massive damage even when being blocked.

And of course, hitting Sukuna again once before casting their last domain, which resulted in Sukuna having to heal first and then cast his.

And that's when IV got the lucky hit of 0.01 seconds early

The lagoon triggerfish (Rhinecanthus aculeatus), also known as the blackbar triggerfish, the Picasso triggerfish, or the Picassofish, is a triggerfish, up to 30 cm (12 in) in length, found on reefs in the Indo-Pacific region.[2]

This species has been studied in a range of research contexts, from locomotion to color vision research.

Behavior
Lagoon triggerfish live in the reefs and sandy areas of coral reefs, where they eat just about anything that comes along, mostly including invertebrates and reef algae. They are always restlessly swimming around and vigorously protect their territory against intruders, including divers, especially when guarding their eggs during reproduction season. Their relatively small size makes them much less dangerous than the larger titan triggerfish of the same family.[citation needed]

The fish moves through the water by using waving motions in its dorsal and anal fins, allowing it to move more precisely. Using these movements, it can move forwards, backwards or simply hover in place above the reef. This means that it can more easily back out of crevices than other unidirectional fish

Mating and reproduction
Both sexes guard territories, some maintaining a territory for eight years or longer (with males holding territories for significantly longer than females). A typical male territory may overlap with one to five female territories, and their mating system is described as haremic, although not much is known about this (similar mating systems are seen in other Balistidae species). If a male or female is removed or disappears their territories are soon taken over by a new fish. They reproduce multiple times over their lifetimes.[3]

Pair-spawning takes place around sunrise, with the egg masses being attached to sand, coral rubble or algae. They hatch on the same day around sunset. Although paternal care is normal in teleost fishes with external fertilization, it is the mothers in this species that guard and care for eggs until they hatch. The mother remains above the eggs for about 12–14 hours, fanning the eggs with her pectoral fins to improve aeration for perhaps 30% of the time. She chases away most fish that approach and remove other intruders like starfish by mouth. Maternal care is effective in preventing predation, and experimental removal of the mothers reduced survival to almost nothing suggesting this behaviour is adaptive. Unlike fathers, mothers forage less and over a smaller area near the egg mass while caring for the eggs. Vision
This species has one type of single cone (SC), with an opsin peaking in sensitivity at 413 nm (S),[4] and a double cone with two different opsins in each member peaking at 480 nm (M) and 530 nm (L) respectively.[5] Behavioural research has provided evidence that individual members of the double cones can act as independent channels of colour information, aiding in understanding double cone function.[6] This research suggests the species has trichromatic vision, like humans.
