So I played a few hours of Austro. My first impressions

It’s def the fast streamlined lesser combat Omni we were promised and is very “chill and play”

Outside of the water stamina, trot speed, & getting kicked out of sanc which are all gonna be fixed. It could use a few things imo

1: Add Dryo to its diet just so it has something else other than beipi & hypsi to hunt for nutrition

2: The kick is NASTY. A bit too nasty. Some slightly lower damage would balance it out since it’s purely for defense

3: Considering it is purely a mobility based playable, it should gain speed MUCH sooner than it does. You have to wait till like 70% to outrun Omnis

I really hope after the devs get through the remainder of the upcoming roster, they put the brakes on releasing new playables and balance out the roster with what we would have at that point.

I don't think the balancing is unplayably bad at the moment and obviously things can still change between now and the end of this sections additions, but there's definitely some playables in need of fine tuning and general TLC and I fear that some playables are just kinda getting neglected for the worse

it could be multiple things unfortunately. i was watching its shadow and it seemed like it was catching up for a split sec. and take into account it came from your side so it intercepted you a bit, and rex pin has that slide, then theres the possiblity of latency. we would know more if we had the rex in camera. but from that video it definetly looks bad. now im questioning dino acceleration. i dont know either of rex's or ceras acceleration speed and rex's speed at that growth with the ambush speed boost. its a bummer death

just that and i think austro is perfect.. The sports mode fragile omni we were promised. Its great at being a survivalist with a surplus of resources. not good at fights, loses most of them anyways, but it isnt defenseless either and can kick and stun threats in its tier to fend them off/flee easier.
