and @weak bridge its because there are certain areas of the map with a bugged object that just crashes anyone who renders it iirc. Essentially, once you get in those zones, you're stuck in a crash loop and can't get out.

I have heard sometimes logging in much later fixes it, but you can also fix it by dying, either by having your dino starve/dehydrate to death (since it lasts for 5 mins after you crash) or by having someone kill you

congenital can help you maybe take an extra hit, and the one that buffs your stam thresholds could help you regen stam after a chase easier. Other wise its mostly up to however you play. Most of the mutations arent really made for dryo in particular.

we shouldn't be able to take down dinos 100x times your size. It's very silly lets face it and effectively defending yourself against it is not a fun interaction in the game. I'm not talking about skill issue here, but I'm not playing a game to do the same thing as putting a thread in a 0.0001 inch needle hole. And with bigger dinos that are slower like long-necks and their hunters will be even worse

PT can stay out of reach to vast majority of dinos while dealing dmg and bleed. Also they can peck you and you make noise which gives way to a very scummy way of play

They literally did, that’s why ptera currently vaults itself int the ground when attacking something larger than itself, it’s the counter this exact problem.

Also pounce is an utter mess mechanically anyway, that IS being worked on to be more interactive in the future. Both of these are known issues, only one has been solved so far
