I found that when the form asked for the version number of the game, it wouldn't accept the hordetesting version number. So i just used the live build version number but made it clear in my notes that it was for the hordetest. Maybe I did it wrong.

Hordetesting Server Bug Report: "Black Hole" Zones - Game Crash on Server Entry
Issue Description:
There are bugged locations on the map (we call them "black holes") where if your dinosaur gets trapped, you cannot play on that server anymore. When you try to join the server, the game crashes immediately with an error.
Affected Locations:
Highlands - Nursery area (baby sanctuary)
Bog/Swamps
Consequences:
Your character/dinosaur becomes stuck in the bugged zone
Every time you try to enter the server, the game crashes with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error
You cannot continue playing on that server
The only solutions are:
Switch to a different server
Create a new Steam account
Wait for admins to manually move your character to a safe location
Additional Problem:
If another player tries to kill your trapped dinosaur, they also get kicked from the server and experience the same crash. This bug affects multiple players.
Request:
Please either:
Fix these bugged zones on the map
Manually relocate my character to a safe location
Reset my character's position
This is a critical issue that wastes players' time and makes the game unplayable on affected servers.

After an extremely unhealthy amount of time. I have finally finished my framework for livemap production. And here is a sneak peak of it being used live. This is real time, 1 of 1. It also shows ai within proximity, friends and group too. It has the most precise location calibration 1:1 and the most detailed produced map totalling 98,069 tiles. This has not been an easy task and has probably taken me over 2 months to get to this point. But it had to be perfect! Let me know what you guys think! 🙂

hordetesting is a test branch, it is very unstable. if you want a more stable experience, evrima is the better choice.
i know hordetest runs better for most, but you are going to experience bugs like this in a testing environment.

I don't see Giga getting an ambush personally, but I do see it being a little faster than rex's base speed since, if the devs plan to align it with the niche it had previously, it would need to be at least a little faster in order to bleed out prey without getting facetanked easily

Newest giga at 30.6 and rex at 33.2, while he trots at 21.6 and rex at 17.3

I was hoping that when you reached elder, you would be visibly larger, however, with buffs also come nerfs. Now you are a little slower than adults, but you're tougher and stronger. But as you continue to age you start to slow down and become weaker until you pass naturally.

And obv if you were super unhealthy coming into eldership, you would be a little smaller and mostly weaker and slower

I'd also like the eldering checklist to be based on the health of your dino and following "instinctual" wants and needs rather than "go to this many zones".

I'd like to have to not only maintain good diets, but maintaining cleanliness, engaging in behaviors like burrowing, nesting, etc. I'm hoping as the game continues dev the elder system will pivot to a system more akin to this once we get those mechanics and systems
