OK, there are two types of elder, prime elder and frail elder. You start transistioning to elder at 75% grown. If you achieve prime elder you will grow bigger and stronger, if not you will start to get weaker. To get prime you have to fulfill any 5 of 9 tasks - visit a sanctuary as a juvi, never go infertile, never get spasms, get perfect diet, get hatched from and egg, visit 4 partol zones, visit 2 migration zones, visit a mass migration zone (where a patrol zone and migration zone meet), be one of the special dinos that get a free pass (troodon, beipi, dryo, deino...)

Be 50%+, hold ctrl to latch your claws into the dirt and start crawling and sniffing, see the bubbles and move to them until "E to forage" pops up, hold e, then chase and hit the crab, and eat. You can only swallow it whole so foraging is only useful past subadult. Though it seems like the text didnt pop up for you which is wierd, might be yet another food related bug?

Which version are you trying to play. If you changed the betas to Evrima in the properties in Steam (which is the best version) then i would log a ticket for support. If you have not changed that, then you are still trying to access legacy, and there is sometimes and issue with the servers appearing. In that case i suggest changing the beta to Evrima in the settings.

Also requiring 2 servers for every playable server would be incredibly expensive, ruin most unofficials by making it 2x harder to set up and increase the cost of operation, and wouldn’t really protect against ddos because the queue server would also be a viable target. And if they kill the queue server, people either wouldn’t be able to join, or they would then be able to attack the main server.

that may be PART of the reason. but it was mostly because the performance was sluggish, everyone was rubberbanding pretty bad, despite being in NA connected to an NA server i was getting 200-300 ping. they had frequent restarts to reduce the playercount and adjust server settings

if you noticed, they released the server at 400 players. then reduced to 300. then 250. not sure what it's at now since i'm not home but yeah. the server didn't "crash because too many people were joining" - they were actively adjusting the settings for better performance and in order to apply them, the server was restarted

Honestly, I know nothing about peanut beyond what I've heard about him the last couple of days, and while it absolutely isn't flattering, we can't really blame rude/badly behaved people solely on peanut. I've got over 1600 hrs in this game. This discord has gone crazy and absolutely Rude anytime a server goes down for any reason, long before they even heard of the game. Didn't need peanut streaming/playing for there to need a 10 min timer, there's always been enough trolls/people with no manners in here to drive the mods crazy whenever there's any minor inconvenience about servers

Yeah, you have a very good point, and I do agree that streamers who are better behaved/kind/just generally good people have a better community overall following them, there's also the point that regardless of how a streamer acts, they are NOT responsible for how their followers act.
