"Annoying barriers" are exactly what they should be. Large animals shouldn't just default to walking straight through them. And even less should they be rewarded by it, because it decreases encounter chances.

That being said, you should be able to do that, but if you are large it should feel a bit maze-like.

I had a great time playing Stego, and every Rex = Pin for almost all of his HP. I only hit him three times. I lost a few hours in five seconds, losing my Stego 68% growth. It's a cool skill, such a zero-skill Rex Pin. I hope that when Spino comes out, it's so overpowered that the guys on Rexes cry .😈

My opinions on future playables:

The one I'm most excited for is Parasaurolophus as I was always a big fan of that dinosaur and would be my new alternative herbivore main alongside Tenonto. And after Para, the future playables I want most are Spino and Deinocheirus, those are my favorite apex tiers for the game.

And the one that you could say that I'm the "least excited" for is probably Albertosaurus. I just have a bad feeling that thing has a high chance of becoming the new broken OP midtier that people hate on. I'm also concerned about it intruding on Allo in terms of niche.

diablo AI made the game feel terrible because every Rex and allo and deinosuchus sat in one specific location in the river delta to feed on their free and easy food

tenonto AI just makes life painful for real tenonto players because when they finally see another tenonto that they might be able to group up with, they instead find a useless AI companion that broadcasts every 3 minutes

Dino AI also makes parts of the community relegate that Dino as “AI species” like how avaceratops was treated

Nah, player limits in official are too low atm. But I also think that other MZs should work too so people would actually move more around the map. I started to actually consider that MZs from N and NW of the map dont even exist actually or got removed in a patch. So it makes sense for the servers to feel empty when there is no reason to explore too much.

Not in the slightest. And as Owl said, the time period at which the game takes place is not in the Mesozoic. It's set in present time.

The sparse nature of the game is due to the fact that the game is still in active development. A lot of the planned AI are yet to be implemented and players are likely surrounding certain landmarks.

Nah, the survival factor has to exist for them too. But I see them as being more focused on compound life with exploration/resource gathering tasks, not migrating all the time like dinos.
