Have tried to hold my tongue, and give the updated ptera a fair shot for a while. But the latest update rlly just gutted pt, to the point that the playable is just not worth playing at all. The nerfs to the glide speed and turn speed is is horrendous enough. but the fact that u cant even attack another dino above ur weight without falling out of the sky is the final nail in the coffin. In a game that is very sentered around player interaction, and pvp elements, removing a playables ability to partake in those elements just seems crazy to me. Ptera has just been reduced to a slow spectator, who can only fish and harras juvies. I understand that pteras could be annoying, but it rlly didnt take much effort to shake off a pt. Plus, the amount of people that could trully harras fg dinos were rare, since the skill ceilling and floor for pt was quite high. So im just rlly sad to see the most unique playable, with alot of skill expression, be reduced to such a sad state. In my opinion, if the devs are gonna butcher the character that hard, they might aswell just remove it from the game

Ptera also has this thing where it can sprint fly without using stam
It uses some at the beginning, and then just stops. Really great way to cover distance quickly

I generally wonder how long until the community of the isle decides to do something to make the devs listen, I not trying to start something nor going to do that something, but it is clear that tensions are rising more each day. Like I keep seeing more and more of people getting mad and doing that classic interpretation of the devs like for a example "hmmm what do our players really want...OH YEAH! remove A QUARTER OF THE MAP FOR NO REASON" (I know why the quarter of the map was remove, just example) Stuff like that. But it's worrying because it's highly unlikely that something is going to be a strike. Look, there is only 4 big dino games including the isle, so an strike will do nothing that all, right? So either one, they reviewbomb and do a strike, but again it will do nothing that all, just more chaotic. Or two, someone that's good with PCs, just go "Screw it!" and hacks the game either deleting everything, leaking the files, or just crasthing the server for 2 weeks. Again I not trying to start something nor going to do that something or support it, but tensions are rising more each day.

A lot of their problems are explained in discussion and covered in videos, but most don't watch or read updates that bring to light what the devs actually have in store and why they make the changes they do.
