I think in concept art it does land for a second to grab. Idk if it could handle the force, but it does make some sense from a gameplay perspective to have it need to push off the ground to carry heavy animals away, plus it makes it more vulnerable in attacking

Well with flight a lot of it is based on gliding/soaring which doesn’t take active stamina. But things like climbing altitude do, which imo should be a struggle for quetz

• no longer can peck anything while flying (unless going TERRIBLY slow)
• stamina is terrible (unless you are very good at managing which i am. But average player is not)
• You become infertile at 100% where any other endangered (even Troo that does WAY MORE DMG)
• You do not get the endangered point, like the rest of the endangered roster
• You cannot see sanctuary when smelling unless you’re a hatchling.

if you can catch them go for it, raptor is a very high skill ceiling type of dino and most players won’t get good enough with it so you can pretty much charge into a pack of raptors and 9/10 you’ll win

if you only try to kill stuff you can pin on your own as an adult it’s fine but raptor cannot realistically fight back against most of the roster on its own and in a pack it relies too heavily on everyone working in perfect sync while the enemy can kinda be garbage and still kill atleast 1-2 of your pack mates just off raptors small health pool

oh yeah when it comes to survival omni is fine, especially since it’s really one of the only dino’s that can jump. You can survive anything if you just don’t really care about your pack and learn when to let them die. The amount of times i’ve just walked off because my pack was desperately trying their hardest to kill a rex or stego that was clearly not gonna lose the fight lol

It’s not the clones themselves killing you, it’s not a physical entity attacking you, it’s a visual representation of the venom injected into you. So it terms yes it does make sense that your still getting damaged until it wears off
