A day later i come back (On EU 5) And for some reason... i'm a Utah spawned outside of the suppression field Ofc i did wander a bit, died of hunger since there no AIs there, then went on prog a Utah.

Hey! so a buddy of mine has this issue where her controls are lagging or delaying.
She'll take her hand off the keyboard and her dino continues to walk for a few seconds. it is never a constant time of delay so she cant predict when she will stop, it also seems to get worse the longer she plays.
it only effects her movement, including sprinting, it delaying when she presses the sprint key.

its only with the isle, she's tried to delete the %appdata% folder to see if it would fix it, though it didn't help. its not her keyboard, she's cleaned it multiple times to try and fix it.

i never overclocked at all that's the thing it was crashing my PC at default settings the games setting were set to max setting on highest resolution i just swapped back to lower resolution after down-clocking my GPU and lowering graphics i restored my GPU back to default clocks like they were before i under-clocked and the isle works perfect so id say having the graphics turned up was making my GPU suck more power then it could handle after down-clocking from default to lower then default clocks it opened without crash

This game now have rly bad fps drops, i played evrima 1 month ago with stable 60fps and now i have max 20-25 (Epic settings) and i have rly good PC with i9-12900K and gpu RTX3080Ti (game is on SSD). I have all updates on windows/gpu and cpu installed. And now i must play on medium settings to have 60FPS.I did some tests and I think I found the cause.When playing deino, there are terrible drops in FPS when floating on the surface of the water (at the very top).However, when we swim underwater, there are no problems. Regarding the swamps, there are no fps drops there, even when we swim on the surface of the water. Please fix that asap.

Well, let me put this in comparison to my PC and give you some tips to try and make gameplay better.

I have a 3070Ti (8GB VRAM)
Intel i7-9700f (can't overclock it)
32GB RAM (2666 MHz)
And I run Isle on my main drive, an SSD (with 100GB left- just so it isn't clouded with storage)

I get around 60FPS on 4k Resolution, it drops to 50FPS and highs at around 62FPS
On High Settings and 100 Render scale

Now, question time for you.
What resolution are you running? Have you updated your Drivers, checked storage, tried restarting your PC, reapplied thermal paste, cleaned your PC of dust.

And, is the constant FPS drops ALL THE TIME.
That includes when (you know) you're by yourself, or is only when others are nearby ||which, FPS drops like that isn't a very rare event||

Do make sure your PC isn't doing this with other games. If you can't get anything working, then I'd try waiting for the next update to see if optimisation is improved. Very sorry about that

If the issue persists, adding a firewall exclusion for your entire Isle game folder and then following the steps above should do it.

You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

I've been getting crazy packet drop/server lag ever since the most recent update. I know it's not frame drops as I am monitoring my fps and typically run around 120 (5950x, 6900xt oc f, 64GB 3600 RAM, and custom water loop to keep it all cool).

Quick logging usually fixes that. If it doesn't work the first time keep quick logging until it does.

I think it has to do with your settings and graphic card options being set to high quality over performance. My graphic settings kept switching back until I went through virtually every setting possible and optimised them, setting a lot to high performance. Now they finally stay

Unless the game is supported by GFN, betas isn't an easy task to roam into.
Most of the times you have to go through an opt-in like Family Mode.

Will Evrima ever be playable? Mind you I dont have a bad computer and I run 100+ fps on Legacy but everytime I log on to Evrima my fps seems to drop from 50 to 7 fps in a matter of seconds. Sometimes it can be stable but for the most part it is unplayable for me. I have checked the graphics and lowered them all. If you have a GPU of 100% during the game, it means that the video card simply does not have enough power (try overclocking). Try to overclock the processor in the Quik cpu program, and in the NVIDIA control panel in the 3D settings tab, set Physx to your video card

Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

Anyone having the following issue and already tried to manually uninstall and reinstall, may need to upgrade from Windows 7. It is believed that this OS can cause the issue to occur. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft anyways and it is an OLD Operating System. Also I have found that many people that run windows 10 that have this issue are using below the recommended GPU for The Isle Evrima. You may need to upgrade your system. Our answer to any issue you have if it is below recommended will end up being "Upgrade your system". You may have an unstable version of Windows as well, If it's not a GPU under our recommended minimum specs. Try reinstalling Windows if that's the case.

If none of the above works, you likely have too old a GPU and need to upgrade your PC or, you can wait for a possible update or fix. Evrima is a new game, it has new tech in it, it will not be as easy to run as Legacy. If you find yourself having this specific error, you're likely needing to upgrade your pc, or consider the switch over to Geforce Now, which can run The Isle Evrima very well, depending on which subscription you get.

After the small update paths, my “camera” seems to be stuck, I don’t know how to pin point this problem really.. my mouse and camera don’t seem to be connected anymore, the only way I can make my dinosaur change direction is with the arrow keys…

Hey, my pteranodon isn't drinking when I hold E. It starts the animation but doesnt follow through with it.

So, the first time I tried to drink as a pteranodon it wouldnt let me, so I had to safelog then log back in. Then when I got back on it only played part of the animation and never fully let me drink, so I had to leave again, and the 3rd time I got in I was able to drink.

If you're encountering a "Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" simply verify your game files.

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

If the issue persists, adding a firewall exclusion for your entire Isle game folder and then following the steps above should do it.

Having issues with the game, need to reinstall it. Do this.

Go to steam library, find TheIsle, right click on the game, hover on "Manage" and click "Browse Local Files". In windows window that opens, near top where you see the path, click "common", then find the folder "TheIsle". Highlight folder and delete the entire folder. Go back to steam and first uninstall the game, then when done re-install the game. When done installing run the game to initiate an update, do not choose to start the game when done, just install the update. When done go back to steam library, right click on game again and click "properties" then in the Steam window that opens in left column click on "Local Files", then click to the right "Verify Integrity of Game Files". Let that finish, start game, should work.

You should probably do this anyway if you've been having issues or just if you've not done it for a while.

For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

I cant Reset key bindings - Reason it said no because as soon as I pressed it, it reloaded the controls as it should but it then only shows 8 key binds like call 4 and Sprint Ext but once that happened I go back in game and I can even call with 1 2 or 3 and no its not because there set to a different key it literally wont show in controls on settings and it doesn't work at all same with sniff and any attacks and on occasions it tends to as soon as I spawn in a server I can only turn left and right can go back or forward and I cant move my camera, well that might be another bug, in short two bugs in one, gonna needs me a fix if I want to exist anymore, oh well

Anyone having the following issue and already tried to manually uninstall and reinstall, may need to upgrade from Windows 7. It is believed that this OS can cause the issue to occur. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft anyways and it is an OLD Operating System. Also I have found that many people that run windows 10 that have this issue are using below the recommended GPU for The Isle Evrima. You may need to upgrade your system. Our answer to any issue you have if it is below recommended will end up being "Upgrade your system". You may have an unstable version of Windows as well, If it's not a GPU under our recommended minimum specs. Try reinstalling Windows if that's the case.

If none of the above works, you likely have too old a GPU and need to upgrade your PC or, you can wait for a possible update or fix. Evrima is a new game, it has new tech in it, it will not be as easy to run as Legacy. If you find yourself having this specific error, you're likely needing to upgrade your pc, or consider the switch over to Geforce Now, which can run The Isle Evrima very well, depending on which subscription you get.

If you're encountering a "Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" simply verify your game files.

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

If the issue persists, adding a firewall exclusion for your entire Isle game folder and then following the steps above should do it.

after half a year i did reinstall the game multiple times, erased the folders manually, rebooted it. i also managed to play on legacy version but after all Evrima still not working. That caan't be the server because its the same issue when i click on ANY servers. The client is updated. i just reinstall it every month to see if it works and its not. I compared to my brother, we have the same PC , the same version , it work for him not for me. Full or empty its the same the server won't let me try to connect, and there is no connect button appearing. There is multiple THreads or topic about this exact issue on the web but there is no answer.
